The best restaurants in East Midlands

Lovely food.. actually tastes of something unlike most Chinese takeaways..we have tried all around the area and Riceland is probably the best locally for a quick Chinese takeaway… please don’t judge it on curry and chips or sweet and sour pork balls try something different they really do some tasty dishes

Came here time today. Had a lovely welcome. Was gorgeous and snuggly warm. The Sunday lunches were lovely. My Mum had chicken, myself and my partner had lamb. Even had the puddings.

When is this store getting Gingerbread Syrup? Got to be the only local one that doesn't have it but a wide amount of reasons as to why they don't? Melton has it, Grantham has it, Nottingham Has it. I know they've swapped to there own brand now but the others are stocking it?

Had a meal Delivered tonight - all Mains and sides were delicious . Dont think we have tasted better burgers. Piping hot !! Will definitely be back , Thankyou

WOW..first time ordering from elf's kitchen..it will not be our last. Had a full breakfast and a breakfast cob delivered. It was piping hot when it arrived, not greasy, egg was still runny. We are impressed with the quality of the the food..well done you guys

Lovely Chinese Nice Currys and rice dishes big bags of prawn crackers which are really nice keep it up

Very delicious breakfast 😋 really amazing specially nehari and kulcha is non beatable

Dansak was very oily, korma was bland and chicken was rubbery, first and last time using this place, such a shame

Perfect breakfast, can thoroughly recommend great setting. The staff were very friendly. Coffee was amazing. Will go back again.

We're very local, and have known The Crown in various guises over the years. Helen has only recently taken over here but has continued the good work. It's a bit off the beaten track - but only 3 miles or so from the A1; nice...

We stopped here by chance for lunch . Great find. Lovely quirky place. Large free car park. Weather was good so we were outside in the courtyard . Really nice setting. Friendly and efficient service. Good lunch selection . Nice food. Dog friendly with water bowls and a tap in the courtyard. Seems a busy place . Would return if in area again

Pub re-opened this weekend under the new Landlord Jake. Open, friendly village pub that draws a local crowd. The focus is on quality beer served well. Pretty little front bar with a real fire going. Local breweries like Hook Norton and Phipps' were on tap. All the best to them.

Sadly it’s closed down on 16 August 2024. It’s probably the only shop ran by HongKongers.

Toilets need refurbishing there no locks on the cubicles and black mould everywhere
