Costa Coffee in Rutland

When is this store getting Gingerbread Syrup? Got to be the only local one that doesn't have it but a wide amount of reasons as to why they don't? Melton has it, Grantham has it, Nottingham Has it. I know they've swapped to there own brand now but the others are stocking it?

Nice food but all unhealthy and crazy prices. Great atmosphere and staff. Lots of independent nicer coffee shops in Oakham if you want decent coffee though.

The member of staff that served me was rude arrogant and very ill graced. Made me feel like he was doing me a big favour. Very miserable, no please or thank you. He needs to go on a customer service course he’s a disgrace. All other Costa coffee shops bring the toasted sandwiches to the table not him he shouted my order was ready and chucked it on the counter. And looked at me with disgust when I went back for a knife….. won’t be going in there again.

I love the drinks the toasties are lovley and the seating is really good . I would love to give a shout out to the kindest staff

It is frequently cool in winter as the staff never close the drive through windows. In the sum.er this leads to a coffee shop full of flies. The staff are generally fine and the coffee is good. If you're serving five pound coffees you could at least stay on top of table clearing and bring stuff to tables....

Came in to buy a gift card, 2 men at the till (I presume a manager and a new colleague), manager was berating the colleague saying “It’s what I’ve already showed you hundreds of times” then snatched something off of him. When I was served by the manager he didn’t speak a single word, snatched my money off me and walked away once transaction was completed. He looked at me like I was an inconvenience when I asked for the receipt. I understand Christmas is a stressful time of year for retail/hospitality employees (I work in it myself) but there is no need to be rude to your staff or customers. I won’t be returning here again

This is a great Costa, the staff really helpful.

The nice thing about Costa is you hope to get the same treatment and atmosphere whichever Costa your in, and this one delivers well! Lovely coffee, lovely service. The place was clean, just a shame the other customers dont seem to be able to park properly, but thats not their fault lol :-)

Great coffee and toast.. Easy parking. Excellent welcoming and helpful team. Very clean and tidy. Seating not crammed in... BUT just wish it was more comfortable. Pleae get the very draughty, even chilly Air Con sorted, even causing the lights to swing in the breeze! Visiting managers say they'll get it fixed. Nothing happens. Food prices have crept up above inflation. Site teams need proper toasters as the multi purpose units only do 1 side and this makes unnecessary delays to service time. Too many wobbly tables due to poor adjustment design makes for coffee being easily spilt. Disappointing that no feedback from survey feedback requests.

Use the drive through a lot. Always had good service, they’ll spend time getting to know, great people.

Only acknowledged when at the front of the queue & no fresh gluten free options. That aside, we enjoyed our drinks and nibbles!

Staff were really busy. Drinks were good, Vegan Toasties, not so good and everything is terribly overpriced.

Usually one gets a better experience in Costa though this time they were clearly short staffed during quite a busy time.

A Delightful Coffee Shop Experience The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and appreciated. But the positive experience didn't stop there. The entire shop, both inside and out, was impeccably clean and tidy. It created a very pleasant and inviting atmosphere to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. Overall, I highly recommend this coffee shop. The friendly staff, efficient service, and clean environment make it a perfect place to unwind and savour a delicious beverage.

Friendly staff, clean and good range of food such as sandwiches, toasties and cakes. EV charging points, so somewhere to charge your car and yourself. Plus do good coffee.

Ordered a chocolate fudge brownie frappe, and got no chocolate, no fudge, and no brownie. How does that happen? It's in the name? They gave the lady in front of me a half-full coffee too, and just shrugged when she asked about it. Also, the building is lifeless and ugly, especially compared to the old costa in oakham. It doesn't even have a ceiling. Left dissatisfied and feeling like I wasted my money. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Drive through is a brilliant addition to the town, but the restaurant is a bit soulless tbh. Hot hot hot in the sun too so bear that in mind (it's all glass)

i went through the drive-thru at oakham costa today and was served by a very lovely, young girl on the speaker. she took my order with no complications and was very polite. when we got to the window, she made payment easy, made nice conversation and made our drinks very swiftly. amazing experience! i believe the girl who served us today was aimee, and i cannot rate her highly enough!

Brand new premises, cosy atmosphere, easy safe parking. Drive through if needed. Delicious mince pies and hot chocolate with fresh cream. Highly recommended. Great friendly and helpful staff... 😊🎅😊

Great little drive thru but with quite a few seats inside and a good cake counter with great tasting coffee and hot chocolate.

Was there early, so not busy - service was still slow, but food and drink quality was good. Plenty of car parking and EV charger available

Nice one Costa premises light and airy

One word amazing. Was greeted when I entered the premises with a warm welcome which I have never had in any costa. All the staff were so polite, I felt like a valued customer. I can highly recommend this costa coffee.

Great place and the staff are amazing, we know them personally now and they are even more amazing with our kids!

Nice Costa! They have eat in, takeaway and drive thru options. In the carpark they also have electric chargers. The displays were really nicely designed and layered allowing you to see everything. Sanwhiches, juices and soft drinks out front too. Merchandise options near the toll also. We got a cheese and ham toasty and two coffees (latte and cappuccino) both hot and nicely prepared. Staff were friendly and the area wasn’t very busy at all.

Staff are very friendly, professional and welcoming. Lovely, clean and bright new cafe with drive-thru option. Standard range of Costa food and drink but well presented. There are several outside seats with parasols so perfect if the weather's good and you have your dog with you. Accessible to wheelchairs and has toilets on site. Charging points for laptops/phones. The only negative is the entrance to the car park which, for some reason is very tight for 2 cars - only really wide enough for 1 car at a time. It does have a covered cycle parking area though which is positive. Also, drive-thru can be a long wait when there are several cars in the queue - sometimes better to decamp and go into the cafe for takeout. Overall, a fantastic little cafe which other Costa outlets could learn much from. Highly recommended.

Always visit Costa coffee but would be nice if you had some gluten free muffins

Worth going out of the town for. Brilliant service and lovely atmosphere. The staff here are a real credit to the company!
