Nosh Express in Derby

Couldn’t recommend anywhere more, my go to place after every night out. Never been disappointed, amazing food and service !!

The staff are amazing, welcoming, and attentive. The food is delicious. I will definitely recommend this place!!!

Chips cheese and garlic cheese pizza is £10 total But with pepperoni as a topping on the garlic cheese pizza is an additional fiver totalling £15

We got a tray of Kebab and Chips from there and it was delicious- Best Kebab we have had in Derby so far. The customer service was great as well - Very polite gentleman ☺️

Perfect English breakfast before a major protest against the thieving Monarchy. Nosh Express could use a better quality of tea to be honest. Maybe, Yorkshire Tea. A box of 240 Yorkshire Tea bags can be purchased at a Cash & Carry for £4. Your customers would really appreciate this. Service was very good and the staff are super helpful and friendly. The staff will go out of their way to assist a customer and with a huge smile! 1🙏

I got the smallest chips and they cost 5 pound bloody rip off they went in bin

Ordered grilled chicken with chips, the chips were cooked from before I placed the order and were cooked again for my order. The grilled chicken is pre cooked grilled chicken from fridge and the heated in the microwave then put on the grill for less then a minute. Chips were soaking in oil and grilled chicken was too dry. Chucked most of it in the bin.

This is THE place. Any time I come for a night out, this is the start and end point. Bossman will hook you up with the good good. This place literally is the best scran in all of the East Midlands. Honest to its name, it is Nosh, and it comes Express. I'm here so often I chat to the guys behind the counter every time. They also now serve pizza and you can put absolutely anything you want on it. The service is quality, the kebabs are perfect, the burgers are perfect, the wings are perfect and the people behind the counter follow the pattern of perfection. I LOVE THIS PLACE

Went there this evening ordered cheese burger meal and a kebab got home and they hadn't put any chips in or any cheese on the burger but defo charged me for it got home 10 mins after being served it and it was stone cold very disappointed

Easily the best kebab I've had in a very long time. The meat is proper premium Doner, with a perfect taste even without the sauce, a generous portion too! Salad was very fresh. Crunchy, not soggy. The sauces complemented the meat without being overpowering. The naan again was very freshly baked. Very friendly owner!

The double double burger is wicked the best burger ever had honestly stoped by from leicester to this takeaway to get some food and was recommended this burger the juiciest burger ever had no leicester takeaways stand next to this place honestly if I could give 10 stars I would chips are very crispy and delicious the best customer service a-swell honestly will deffo be back best place I wish leicester had more places like this

So I went in to ask if they had a minimum on card payments as I don't eat a lot to be greeted with "it's a 5 pound minimum limit" in such a demeaning way like I knew that was the rule. I wouldn't expect that from a member of staff so I walked out. Awful behaviour from staff after a simple question.

Amazing service every time I come. Very quickly and professional. Mouthwatering food. The best burgers I have tasted in the East Midlands. I love this place so much I probably order about 4 times a week 🫣. Thank you everyone x

Had a double double it was the best burger I’ve had with a very good variety of sauces and my friend had a special donner and she mentioned that the different spices complimented the meat very well, the place looks very clean and all staff were very welcoming would definitely recommend

Had food from here sat night and it was exceptional. Fresh, tasty and cooked well. I had a beef sizzler and chips and my partner had the chicken sizzler.... The salad was crispy and fresh on both and meat was beautifully cooked and was well worth the money. Came with fried onions, Peppers and mushrooms with salad on a naan. Will definitely be eating from here again

You should be ashamed.. called in at 9:30pm Xmas Eve .. mentioned how clean place looks .. boss sat there as young girl served me .. ordered donner kebab and chips .. chips luke warm and kebab STONE COLD .. absolutely disgraceful.. maybe your drunk customers like that but at 9:30pm seriously not acceptable.. I may be here on business running the derby ice rink but definitely NOT returning..

Came from Dudley.... got told best kebab here was excellent kebab only thing I'd of asked for different was warm the nann little more but I will be back again here very friendly staff and nice guy to talk to outside even gave me a little taster of the meat and got to say very good chips also very nice not over done

Order tonight one Smokey joe one double double both has same sauce in which was spicy was no mayo no bbq sauce. The chips were that pale whe floppy £25 in the bin

Had the Smokey Joe last night and it was the best burger I had in Derby. There is a big burger place in town and I ate there twice but I prefer my Smokey Joe (note slightly spicy). Chips weren’t greasy but could be better but then again it took us half an hour to get home so they weren’t exactly fresh anymore. The place looks clean too. Location is great if you’re arriving in town by bus and would rather have a takeaway than cook. The owner was also friendly and welcoming. He asked questions and seemed really interested, not just asking for the sake of asking. We’ll be back to try more of the menu. 5/5 for the reasonable price.

Best value for your money. By far best burger I had in Derby. Personally would love some pickles in my burger but other than that it was great. I wish I ordered the Slopy Joe though, had the classic cheese burger but the misis had the Smokey Joe and of course took a bite and my lawd those lamb rash were a game changer.

First visit, welcomed in, friendly staff, Smokey Joe and loaded fries devoured on the bus home despite telling myself I'd wait I told I got home before eating, couldn't resist, great food. Slight confusion on menu choices. Second visit had more of a chat with the owner, honest and open to queries, happy to explain a couple of things regarding the menu, again lovely food. Certainly on the right track, whatever the history.

Absolutely happy owner of Nosh Express Derby owner Nad is back with fresh new look and brilliant new menu choices. Brilliant and delicious food as I normally get the mix kebab 3 mix one it's not to big or to small very juicy and filling quick service aswell plus with Nad (owner) he will look after the regulars and welcome new customers and honest aswell 🙂👍

Nads reborn as Nosh Express. My 3-1 mix with Naan was as good as I rember back when I studied at Derby Uni, and Nad still runs the place. Great kebab and people.

So glad that a new takeaway has opened in the city centre which looks so clean and well presented. I went for the 1/2 peri peri chicken with chips. What a great choice! The chicken was cooked to perfection, extremely soft and succulent! Also, the sauce that came with the chicken really complemented the meal! Glad they were open so late on a weekday. Will be back again for my post workout meal
