Cece’s Kitchen in East Lindsey

We’ve been wanting to come here for ages, as we were in the area my husband looked up their kitchen times and seeing as they were serving food until 2.30, we swung by, walking in at 2.20. The smiling front of house asked us if we were wanting food and then said “sorry, kitchen closes in 5”. A full 10minutes before their own 2.30pm advertised time. If you want to stop serving food before the advertised serving times, you need to amend your website and socials. To me, if it says food to 2.30pm, that’s when you can last order food. I’m glad the ridiculous council pay and display was playing up so we hadn’t actually purchased a ticket. I can’t stand establishments who operate like this so I won’t come back.

What a great place fantastic food great value and amazing staff best ribs I've ever had and my partner had the smashed burger which he said was succulent and juicy. Will be.going back

We have been here a few times now, always love the food especially the loaded fries, they also have a great kids menu too. .

Originally emailed in enquiring about vegan options and had zero response. We were told to pre-order for a table of 8 adults with 2 young children.. and ..the order was still not right and not brought out at the same time. Yet, larger tables in at the same as us ordered at the table. Only one option for vegitarians / vegans. We asked if there was any variation on the flood, and was told "no sorry, we don't get enough vegitarians in" so, only do the one option. In my opinion the fries were soggy (almost like cheap frozen ones) and the onion rings excessively greasy, I made staff aware of my feelings and comments at the time. First trip to this place, and will definitely be the last...really not impressed.

Excellent food and service all always, good hot and tasty, service was great again, friendly staff. Try it, it’s delicious!

We visited on Sunday night and had a lovely meal. We had the Caribbean, the Stilton and American burger and upgraded the fries to Philly Cheesesteak and Steak and Peppercorn It really was one of the tastiest burgers we have ever had. The service was excellent and we shall definitely be returning.

Dropped in for lunch and chose the Classic Chicken wraps, so yummy! Very welcoming and friendly staff. The wraps were so tasty beautifully presented and plentiful. I would definitely recommend CECE's Bar &Grill

Had been to a place before called this in tattershall which was great, but this is not. Not sure why, but not what it used to be, which is a shame.

the food was so lovely, and considering the amount of people in this gathering, 22 or so, the staff coped and couldn't be more helpful, as for the manageress. her attitude through the whole night was more than disgusting, not just to her staff but to us, and children, glad i was sober, honestly I'm so angry, a family reunion, was clouded i even spoke to a member of staff, held her hand and ensured her she did nothing wrong, the girl was nearly in tears, I don't normally complain, but i hope this woman has gone before ( if ) i ever went back and h/o if you see this, you seriously need to investigate this nasty woman

Fabulous tasty food, which was prepared to order in no time at all. The burger was succulent, perfectly seasoned, packed with flavour, spice & textures. The wrap was every bit as good & the fries were very moreish! The staff couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly & attentive. Overall an experience we can't wait to repeat.

Booked a table through the website which was very easy. I had the “ French One” burger with chilli loaded fries and Heather had the chicken wings. Both meals were excellent and great value, looking forward to coming back to sample more of the menu. Highly recommended from us!

Very Tasty foo and very generous portions, friendly and efficient service from the industrious waitress.

Came this evening Friday 27th Jan, we hadn’t booked but they kindly found us a table. We had two different types of wings, maple bourbon for the husband and Buffalo for me, we shared Pulled Pork Loaded Fries. All the food was hot and really tasty, staff were pleasant and attentive but not intrusive. Excellent food would recommend anyone to try it. Well done Ceces

We have just visited the new Cece's in Sleaford this evening, absolutely lovely dining experience. Beautiful food, catered without question to our requests, friendly helpful staff and we will definitely be back again. Excellent value for money. Thank you all. K & S

Visited with my husband and 2 young children. From what I can gather the kitchens run by CeCes but the pubs separately run. You can order drinks at the bar but the food is ordered through an app. We had no signal, however on the paper menus near the bar it gives you the password to the WiFi. Although we missed this and spent ages trying to get a signal! There was no option for us to pay by card for some reason so we had to pay cash, they were very quick to come for the money and we were given a 25 min wait from the website, however it was only about a 15 min wait. The food was lovely! I had the chicken burger with bacon, cheese and bbq sauce and upgraded my fries to loaded cheese and bacon. It was yummy but thought the chips needed bbq sauce and the burger less sauce but that's my preference. Hubby had the Stilton burger abd said the sauce was really tasty and he really enjoyed it. Our kids are roughly 2&4 so were happy with the mini burger and chicken nuggets. All in all a good experience. Maybe staff could point you to a menu rather than just saying scan the table because it was a bit of a nightmare trying to keep the kids happy while my hubby was getting annoyed not knowing how to order due to no Internet.

We Visited the Fortscue pub for an early tea. I asked the young lady at the bar if I could order food she directed me to the app - I told her I had special requests she told me to add it to the notes and order drinks separately at the bar which already I found a bit of a farce when we had all gone in really hungry. I ordered the food and put special requests on the notes of no salad, no sauce and for the adults burger meal to come plain. The food came full of onion, onion rings and coleslaw. I explained my husband is allergic to onions so they took it away and said a fresh one should be with us in about 10 mins at this point the rest of the food had already come. We started to eat and my husband told the waitress to cancel his burger as by the time it would be ready the rest of us would have finished eating. She agreed and apologised and said would we like some kids ice creams on the house as an apology? We agreed and the kids were happy. The food was below average and quite greasy. 2 of my 3 boys left their meals which was surprising considering how hungry they were . When I asked how do I claim the refund for the meal we had sent back she looked at me puzzled and questioned why I should be refunded. I explained the food was not what we ordered and he hadn’t eaten the meal due to their mistake. She was quite abrupt and told me they had left the chips and onion rings for him to eat - that was still sat on the table that they hadn’t taken away. I said I really didn’t want to create a fuss but I don’t think it was fair I was charged for a meal we hadn’t eaten or ordered for that matter. She said she would have to go and speak to her manager. The ice creams had still not come out at this point even though we had been sat waiting for them. After about ten minutes she had still not come back to me and my husband and children were getting inpatient as they were all still hungry. Still no Ice 🧊 creams. She eventually came out and said reluctantly that her manager had agreed to refund the money for the burger. Still waiting for ice creams to come out which never actually came. I will not be returning to this restaurant or will I recommend it. If a refund had been offered without all the hassle I would have been satisfied but I felt I had to really argue my case on principal because the money was irrelevant over us all walking out of there hungry after a 3 hour drive. Poor customer service and poor quality food. Go further down the road to Leagate pub.
