The Ranch Steakhouse & Grill in East Lindsey

The food is fantastic! We had a lovely meal here with the family while on holiday. Staff are friendly, portions are generous (very generous) and the atmosphere was lovely; great decor, good music and setting.

We came recently on a Thursday, which entails cocktail and ribs night. We ordered the buffalo spicy chicken wings - they were perfect! So crispy, beautiful! The sauce was great. We then had BBQ ribs with brisket and loaded BBQ fries with cheese sauce which was amazing too! The cheese sauce was mature, almost like a cauliflower cheese sauce it was brilliant. I had a peanut butter brownie shake to finish which was also really nice. Only slight thing that wasn't expected - I ordered two mojitos as part of the offering for the night. They weren't brilliant, they were quite bitter and there didn't seem to be enough sugar/simple syrup in there & slightly too much lime. There also didn't seem to be a lot of alcohol in them at all, I drank two within maybe 30 minutes and both of them were the same despite ordering them about 25-30 minutes apart. This could just be my personal experience though. I'm sure the other cocktail range is absolutely brilliant, much like everything else was, and perhaps it is just my taste. However, this place is fantastic. Lovely staff and atmosphere, would 100% go again and my family are already talking about coming again!

Food was good except...THE CHICKEN WINGS!! I should have really taken a photo, but imagine this..... The chicken wings were literally wings! not cut into hal creating a mini drumstick and a wing. This would nothave been such a big issue, except the skim was rubbery!! On a positive the staf were ok, sat you down, took your order etc. The ribs, and the baked potaties, fires, colesalw and salmon - was great - as expected... But the chicken wings were soooo bad ... you should order them just to send them back..under cooked, barely and souce (BBQ, chilli etc). Its like the chicked wings were blanched or defrosted and warmed up - rubbery and un cooked. Wish i didint have to write this but really - the wings - scarred me for life. Embarssingly bad.

We went to the ranch today 1st Sept, we walked in and was welcomed by the staff we said we have a table booked and we were shown to are table we were asked what drinks we wanted and a few minutes later they arrived we both ordered ribs and chicken with extra sides they came after a short while they were very hot and the ribs and chicken were delicious the best we have had for a long time, we would like to say a big thank you to all the staff for being made welcome, if we lived nearby we would be back every week unfortunately we live a few miles away so it will be when we're in the area (can't wait to call again ) George and Donna Thorold from Lincoln

Best steak I've had. I did ask for medium and came medium rare which I wouldn't usually eat but I did and it was beautiful and the coselaw side was huge and the BBQ wings was gorgeous and overall service was friendly and didn't leave you hanging. Sadly I live in Oxfordshire but I'd be back much more often if I didn't live so far away. Thank you

As always the food is amazing cooked to perfection. Service with a smile, so friendly helping us all choose from the fantastic menu . So much choice. We came from Hull because we love the Ranch so much . Took our milk shakes to go perfect end to our meal . Thanks to all the staff including the chefs Keep up the great work

The food is always amazing, with generous portion sizes and cooked well. Decent menu variation. Staff very friendly and restaurant layout very spacious, clean, and good decor. Pricing is appropriate given the food and overall service. Can't often visit but when we do it's never a disappointment. Parking isn't fantastic in Louth, but we always manage to grab a car park nearby and take a short 3-min walk to the place. No issues.

Great experience, menu was very good, steak was tender and perfectly cooked, service was efficient and friendly! The price considering the food quality was nothing to complain about at all. A lovely night and great to see a good business so busy, also loved the decor and cleanliness of restaurant and toilets etc. Thank you to the team for looking after us on our first visit, will definitely be back!

Absolutely Ace!!! Have had a few visits and meals here. Always have something different. Never fails to hit nail on head. The food is excellent and especially this time the Biscoff Cheesecake. If known was going to be that good, would have had as starter, main and dessert. Excellent. The staff are friendly and cheerful. Price wise, pound or two more expensive than pub meals, however, worth every penny. Prebooking essential.

Great place to go 😋 Slightly dissappointed to not be greeted when we arrived, it didn't seem like it was anyone's job. Staff looked over busy and not particularly happy when we arrived. Saying that our waitress was lovely, and the food was great.

Superb quality food, great service, would highly recommend. I, personally am veggie and so was limited in my choice, but it is a steakhouse! My chilli was scrumptious and everybody else at my table said theirs was cooked well, the meat was tender, the loaded fries are a must, mac and cheese was delicious and so cheesy! Service was great, very attentive but nothing too overpowering ! Its a definite thumbs up.

Took my son and his partner for his birthday. We were all super impressed. Service was prompt and all staff very pleasant. Food was amazingly tasty. My son had the backyard BBQ size was enormous and he ended taking half home all packed up lovely by lovely waitress. The milk shakes we brought to drink at home were delicious. Definitely will visit again.

Just walked out of here as was waiting to see if a table was available for 3. Whilst one of the staff was checking on the computer the long haired bar mans friend walked in and asked if a table was available and he pushed them in front of us. He even asked the staff member dealing with us to stop what he was doing and take them to a table. Can now recommend Mr Chips next door though.

Having you this restaurant before we went back for third visited, staff are very pleasant, I ordered the classic burger as normal, when it arrived it was presented well, but after starting to eat the burger I realised the burgers where like rubber, i did ask if this was processed meat, i was told it had come from a local butcher which i find hard to believe because didnt taste or cut like a proper freshly made beef burger. After retuning home the first place I visited was the toilet, that when I know if processed or cheap ingredients. I wont be going back

We found staff to be lacking in customer service, and no one even asked how the food was, let alone being told we had to wait 10 minutes before we could order food. Starters were 5 star, buffalo chicken wings and garlic and chilli king prawns. Then came 16oz rib eye steaks anyone who knows steak will know the fat in rib eye should be soft and melt in the mouth, so when my husbands rib eye had 20% fat which was too tough and chewy we mentioned it to the waitress when she took our plates, to be told I will pass it on to the chef which is fair enough and then nothing, was asked if we wanted dessert which we declined and then was left alone so went to the bar ourselves to pay the bill. Was asked did we enjoy the meal, explained again about one rib eye being 20% fat and again was told we will pass it on to the chef. Was going back this week for a second visit, but now won't be bothering. Unlike your sister Cocktail bar the manager was excellent, the cocktails are excellent and so is the service.

We visited from Manchester tonight and was really impressed. Friendly staff, great food and ran really smoothly. All the food was hot and fresh with great service. The atmosphere of the whole place was relaxing and enjoyable especially for a Saturday evening. Wish we lived closer so we could come more often!

We recently dined at The Ranch and were very impressed. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the servers were attentive and very helpful. The shakes are definitely worth getting. We highly recommend and will be back!

Pleasant first experience with staff. We had t reserved. Thought an early 1630 booking would be ok. But although empty they were full on the books. Such is life! Next time we are popping through Louth will give it a go

Service was good. Food was mostly very expensive, small portions & not all tasted that good if I'm honest. The nachos were soggy and had too much cheese on them & the coleslaw tasted old & was quite off putting. Desert options didn't seem too good either if I'm honest because I couldn't find anything that I wanted to pick so we ended up just having starters and the main only in the end. Decor is okay but not much of an American feel inside from guests & staff. I would recommend this place still but myself...I wouldn't return personally. The prices mostly stopped me from giving it 3 stars out of 5 with a push. The burgers especially are extortionate. £20 for a burger is a rip off. Even £10 is a lot.

We had been advised to go here for some time and were finally in the area and booked a meal. The service was great, quick and attentive, it slowed towards the end when waiting for pudding and bill but it did get busy so wasn’t surprised. The food is great, atmosphere a bit more family/loud than had expected but great for everyone really. Overall quite expensive but a one off treat and would recommend.

Had my Birthday meal here. States on website free desert for the birthday guest, unfortunately I wasn’t even offered one. Service was incredible. Some of the best staff I’ve come across for a restaurant. Food wise, the nacho were pucka! For Main I had ribs and chicken strips. Bourbon bbq but Wasn’t impressed with the ribs at all. Not enough sauce for me and I wanted them falling off the bone which mine wasn’t (cut them off) rest was lovely. We’ll go back at some point, only to try something different. Wont be ordering the ribs.

Has a great gluten-free menu and understanding of keeping food safe for coeliacs. Food and drinks are pretty reasonable too. It's about £25 a head all in. Staff are friendly and not overbearing. Great atmosphere too. Booking online is easy.

We love coming here, it’s our favourite place. Steaks and burgers are very very good, in fact all the dishes are very good. We also love the loaded fries. Sometimes the buns/rolls are not as good as they could be. Menu can be a tad bit overwhelming especially if you’re not too sure what you want. Last time we went we had problems paying the bill - for 4 starters 6 mains 1 dessert (drinks paid separately) it came to £260 (est) I noticed drinks on our bill (which were removed) then it dropped a little bit… then I noticed a tomahawk on it…. They don’t sell them…. This was removed …. Finally got it down to £190 …. I’m clueless what happened! Maybe the tills software needs looking at ? That aside we love it here, great atmosphere, and will definitely be back again.

We came to The Ranch to celebrate my twins 30th bithdays and it was amazing!! The staff were really lovely and the food was fantastic. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone said their food was cooked to perfection and we all had a brilliant time. Thank you so much to The Ranch for everything and we look forward to coming back again soon.

Lovely food, friendly staff will be coming again

Been to the ranch numerous times and one of my favourite restaurants but last night was unfortunately the worst meal I have ever had there .The t bone steak was just full of fat the chips were lukewarm the chicken wings were OK and the macaroni cheese was OK but for £85 it was the worst meal I have ever had there .Please up your game guys or we will not be returning!

Back for another visit this time with a group of friends. Staff as usual were polite and attentive. The food was awesome, we had a mixed grills, burgers, steaks. Ribs and sides including burnt ends. It was all so so good. Highly recommend this place for a great atmosphere and better food

Food was hot and T-bone steak cooked as requested. Ribs fell off the bone which meant that they were overcooked and ended up as a pile of mush on my plate, not to mention that they had not been trimmed properly with a great deal of fat remaining on the top. The chicken wings were also overcooked and again literally fell off the bone, the sauces were tasty though. Chips and slaw were edible. All in all a very disappointing dinner and won’t be back.

Food is amazing as always, as for the service I was shocked, after we got there and got our drinks we were taken to our table, after around 10 minutes we called over one of the waitress to ask if we can order our meal, the waitress said '' I'm guessing you haven't been here before as we wait 15 to take orders and it hasn't been 15 yet , I explained to the waitress that we have been many times before , If we was told that someone will come to take our order after 15 minutes then that would be fine but this should be told to us as we are seated.

This place is great for a family occasion! Food was so tasty - you’ll definitely leave full 🙂 Matt and Gabriella were lovely and so attentive! Thankyou so much for such a lovely experience 🙂 will definitely be coming again next try the rest of the menu

Top notch grub atmosphere and service

We came to celebrate 16th birthday of out two grandchildren did not like the pre order form and the fact you could not talk to any one My steak was beautiful best steak I've had for long time .The place is very noisy was not very good for big party might go back with smaller number .

The meal and service first class. I had the Macaroni cheese with pulled brisket instead of the pork it was delicious and they were happy to change the meat for me. My Husband had a back yard bbq which was fantastic you could of shared it easily. The biscoff milk shake to die for. Definitely going again.

Really enjoyed the ranch, comes highly recommended and I can see why. I had the backyard bbq, the quality was excellent as was the quantity! Good selection of cocktails and Thursday is 2 for 14 pounds. Would say definitely worth a visit, parking is pot luck along the street but there is a free after 6 pay and display only afew minutes walk away.

!st time visit Sunday 31st March 2024. We were staying in the area for easter weekend and i booked here for 10 of us being 6adults and 4 children. we were all on 1 table. I think its the best menu i have ever seen with many offers and choices. We all enjoyed our meal , it was well presented, was hot and we all commented how nice the food was. if we lived local we would dine here a lot. The staff were very customer focussed. Price wise was good. we loved the setting and fixtures. car parking 5minutes walk away. Well done to you all

We were staying the Easter Weekend about 6 miles away and booked here for 6 adults and 4 children on Sunday 31st Mar h 3024. It has a larger tgsn large menu with do much variety and offers snd prices were good. The good was enjoyed by us sll, the steaks were well cooked and the good was hot. Great customer setback. Should we be this way again would definitely go again

Wow!! What can I say! But amazing!! We had 9 of us dining and all of us had the most wonderful food! The steaks are delicious and best I’ve tasted anywhere in a long time! Cocktails are delicious. Deserts are just so incredible. The staff were very attentive and good came out at a quick pace! If I could give more than five stars I would! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Visited on a Saturday night with friends for the first time. Great service from all the staff. The venue is good. Nice and open without the tables being packed together. The food was awesome. Really good tasting food. We had a mix of mains and some milkshake desserts. All in all a really great place to go

Waited too long for an allocated table (company police to be jept waiting for 25 to 20 minutes) once seated waited too long to order food also for food to be served. Appeared to be short staffed.

Had an enjoyable evening for grandsons 18th birthday. Unfortunately was disappointed when we were told they had no steak left on a SUNDAY STEAK NIGHT. The alternatives were OK but not what we were going to order

Food is absolutely delicious and for the amount you get on your plate you can't really argue the prices. Even made some space for puddings and all went down a treat! Gorgeous cocktails too!

Main food was spot on and service was great. But..... when ordering the cream egg shake. The menu picture was completely different to what was supplied and so was the flavour. Neither a physical creme egg or cream egg flavour was present.

Well i don't where to start with the ranch, this place is a absolute must go place to visit, never had such tasty food like this place does in any restaurant, and to say there was plenty of it is a understatement and would of given in 10 stars if i could. From the minute we walked with a very nice welcome from the bar staff to leaving everything was perfect. It's amazing how a little town like Louth has such a hidden gem, we have 4 American restaurants in Lincoln and not one of em comes close to competing with the ranch. Top marks to the chefs and all the staff. Will be back very shortly 👍👍👍👍

I cannot give the ranch enough credit for being such a great place to eat. I’ve been with big family parties, large work parties, small family parties and the food & service are always excellent. I can’t say much else except every time I leave I’m happy and so is everyone else. Never had an issue with anything. Special credit for my last meal, the Nashville crunch chicken burger. 10/10. Absolute delight. You guys are absolutely crushing it.

Over from Ireland and it’s our first time here. We had an amazing meal. We were not rushed, the staff were courteous, friendly and efficient. The restaurant is beautiful and the bill was extremely reasonable. The music in the background was terrific. I can’t recommend it enough.

Been recommended this place for so long, so finally had a chance to try it out. Very welcoming and beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff, now the food... we have tried nachos to share and probably best we have ever had , HUGE burgers, loaded fries, everything tasted so good. Sadly didn't have any place for desserts but will come back next time to try them out!

I met up with my sister in law & niece for a get together & the Ranch is a favourite as you get a good steak & I’ve never been disappointed. I like mine medium/ rare & it’s always cooked to perfection. I very rarely have the potato option so they double up my salad & I don’t have lettuce, & the sauce bacon & stilton is heaven in a jug 😊 There’s definitely plenty on the menu to choose from & you really won’t be disappointed.

This was our first visit to The Ranch and it was absolutely lovely. We received a warm welcome on arrival, before being shown to our table. Katy our server was very helpful when we explained we hadn’t been before. We decided to order the Steak meal deal with starters and a bottle of wine. The atmosphere, food and service were fantastic ! Such a lovely place to eat with great food and great staff. Staff are so efficient and welcoming. Food is always 10/10. We go regularly and have only ever had top quality.

We came here based on the reviews the Ranch got and honestly I couldn’t fault anything!! The food that came out was piping hot which and absolutely a big tick for me the steak was cooked to perfection. Well done all concerned at the Ranch what a great place to eat!! See you soon.

Great food and drink Staff lovely

Not sure if I’ve ever written a review for The Ranch before but every single time we’ve been it’s simply been epic. Catering for 19+ people is a mammoth task in itself but to bring everyone’s food out at the same time and for it to be that nice is outstanding. I haven’t included pictures as the food needed to be consumed not faffed about with as it looked incredible. Special mention on the Cluck a Duck burger, the hoisin duck topping the fried chicken mixing with the pickled cucumber was stunning! See you again soon 😃

Visited The Ranch Last Friday(02/02/24) First Impression Very Clean, The Venue Itself Is Very Nice And Big Excellent For Birthday Or Family/Friends Get Together, My Meal For This visit Was The Mixed Grill.. Simply Delicious 😋 Two Others Went For BBQ Spare Ribs And Another Mixed Grill...All in All Spot On.. Food Good.. Service Excellent.. Prices Very Reasonable An Easy 5/5 👍🏻.

Never had a bad meal here. Always 11/10! Loaded Fries, Fillet Steak and the beef dripping to die for.

Sorry for this review but i need to rant over what was a unpleasant time . We have been here 3 times in the last 3 months , booked @ the start of the month and had a 4.45pm table . Got to the restaurant and was shown to our table , was not happy as it was right in the middle of the main walkway just down from the bar with people and staff constantly walking around us from both sides I asked to be moved but they said they had no other tables ?? as far as I could see the main restaurant area near the the toilets was empty and was so when we left . £180 for a meal that i felt very uncomfortable eating as I felt like a child who's desk was put in the school corridor for all to see and laugh at . I strongly feel your staff could and should have moved us as requested as I was clearly upset with this table . I feel I will not now go back as if you are packing people in on tables in the middle of walk ways you are putting profits over people's enjoyment. Kind Regards Peter

Our first time coming, service was great, all staff were super friendly, smiley and approachable. We were served drinks quickly and our food also came out quick. The food is so, so tasty. Everything was such good quality. Overall really happy with the price for two starters, big mains and also extra sides and two drinks each it was less than I expected. I would say the starters didn't seem very big portions for the price, but maybe that's just because we enjoyed them so much, we wanted more! We couldn't even pick a favourite part, everything just tasted great. We absolutely will be coming back!

Wife and I drove over to Louth on the recommendation of a work colleague - I’m very glad we did. We were warmly greeted and seated for our 4.30pm booking. Our drinks orders were taken quickly and arrived a minute later. Ok, it wasn’t too busy then but half an hour later it was already filling up. We had a burger, a Rib and Steak combo, with sides of onion rings and a sensational Mac n Cheese topped with Hunters chicken. It was all very well cooked - the ribs literally fell off the bone. Sometimes with American style food in the UK, it’s a bit of a letdown. This was delicious. To be constructive, we both thought the onion rings could maybe have done with the batter being seasoned, and there was a lot of loud music, which in itself isn’t a big deal, but it kept stopping/starting going loud then quiet which was distracting. Small points. Overall though, food, service, cleanliness, atmosphere etc were excellent. We’ll definitely be going back.

Food not as good as previous visits and service was very slow, also was very cold inside had to leave coats on! Very expensive for mediocre food/service won't be traveling 40 mins again.. honest review

Large portions of tasty, good quality food

All right, I suppose. food was nice. Atmosphere was ok being that we were sat out back in a decorated steel extension. Had to ask for clean cutlery as the set provided still had food on it. Replacements were very tarnished, and so were most of the other cutlery on our table. We were there for our staff Christmas Do, so don't feel so bad as we weren't paying.

If you like the idea of American style steakhouse, then this is the place, the loaded fries are a must too

Fantastic restaurant, great ambiance. Attended with family for Saturday evening meal, staff were fantastic. Food exceeded expectations, so did portion sizes! Well priced menu, left with two boxes of leftovers which got finished the following day

Went for a pre Xmas meal, had combi starter, beef full rib for main and brownie for pudding, arrived and after a short wait was seated and quickly sorted, servers are polite and efficient, would recommend as a place to visit. Not cheap but food is excellently cooked and presented, both visits here have been excellent, well come against n in new year

Looks pricy to start with but the food is lovely and well thought out. A wonderful mix of flavours and good portion sizes. Definitely get what you pay for and more. A very enjoyable treat. The staff are helpful the service is at a sensible speed, the decor is nice and the food is tasty. Will definitely go back.
