Steak n Stuff in East Lindsey

My sister booked this restaurant as she lives in Skegness when we arrived it was very busy which is always a good sign. The food portions were very large and very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It looks quite small but don’t be put off. Definitely give it a try.

I love these small atmospheric places and the food didn't disappoint either. When the food is this good it's worth the wait and on a busy night I can say the wait was more than reasonable. You don't get quality food if it's been sat on a counter waiting for you to order it so it can be on your table in 10 minutes. Ordered the ultimate combe to share....wow!! Talk about a plate full!!Everything was spot on with the steak being cooked perfectly to our request. Will definitely be back when in skeggy again.

Booked a table and when we got there 5 min early they ignored us for 5 min then just left us standing near the doorway. We got upset and decided to leave. Worst restaurant ever.

AVOID after traveling 6 hours we went here for Sunday lunch BIG mistake took 3/4 of an hour to get our starters place wasnt busy the after my 82 yr old asking where our mains were we got them another 3/4 of an hour later after someone else complained too they were too busy doing deliveries to bother about people eating in when ordering i asked for a can of cola was told its a glass out a large bottle saw her pouring this out a 2 litre pepsi bottle marked at £2.09 imagine the shock i got when i got the bill and myself and my mum had been charged £3.95 for a small glass of Cola from this 2 litre bottle £7.90 for 2 very small glasses i did ay when paying that that wasnt right but the girl couldnt care less best idea is to avoid this place AVOID

Sunday dinner was really lovely plenty of choice. The price was really great and the service couldn’t have been better as they got us in at the last min. The lamb and beef so tender and the gravy well proper meat gravy. We’re local so definatly going back. Even managed to get a couple of take away menu for home delivery for my old ladies I know. Perfect.

My dad and I were booked for an evening meal as it was his 78th birthday and I was treating him to a meal, we had a table booked for 8.30 and arrived about 9 minutes early and waited just inside the doorway as the sign said, we were ignored by all the members of staff who could clearly see us for 3 or 4 minutes then a lady who looked like she was in charge came up to us and said do you have an a table booked we said yes 8.30 at that she did not say a word to us and just walked away and then just totally ignored us, after standing there for several more minutes in full view of the staff and the customers my dad said to me this is ridiculous lets go so we walked out. I am trying to think of words to come up with to describe the staff and all I can think of is RUDE and ******* IGNORANT.

after looking at reviews of Steak N Stuff before arriving to Skegness, we were looking forward to eating here. after driving by on our way to our guest house and seeing the place, we were having second thoughts but after asking for recommendations on local Skegness sites, we decided to give it a try. we are SO pleased we did... don't let the exterior fool you... fantastic interior... cute without being too overcrowded... lovely greeting... fitted us in without making a booking. we both had a starter..very lovely vegetable soup and prawn cocktail.plenty of prawns in it too😀 we decided on surf & turf and mixed grill. WOW !! huge portions and fantastic food. nothing else to say except... you do HAVE to try it for yourself👍🎉🤩

We had a great dinner. On request, the pork in our ultimate combo platter was substituted with fish.

We loved this little place, had a homely feel, the waitress was really friendly and made us feel welcomed, was really busy for a Thursday, service was dealt with very well considering they didn’t have many staff, food was excellent, Ribeye was as good if not better than some place that would charge triple for a steak, chicken was great too, I would recommend wearing loose clothes as the portions are massive, great chips too, desserts were top quality as well, if your in Skegness and want a delicious meal check this place out.

We visited tonigh it tuck one hour to get are food & the steaks were over cooked & undercooked plus the wife found a long black hair in the mushrooms which put her off eating the rest off her food. But the kids enjoyed there's.

It is small,but the food was delicious and there was plenty,they don't do small portions either,and it was reasonably priced aswell.

Didn’t even get past the wait to be served sign. Ignorant waitress looked at me twice and completely ignored me twice. Gave up in the end and went elsewhere

Best steak I have had in a long time. Food was great my only two criticisms I have is we had to wait an hour for our food to arrive but once it was there it was very nice, the layout of the restaurant is very cramped we were put in a booth which for someone who is over 6ft was not great I could hardly move, place would probably benefit from getting rid of those. Other than that it is worth a visit and is worth the wait and value for money.

This was our first visit and won't be last. I had the 32oz rump and it was cooked perfectly rare to medium.

This place ain't no joke, it may look it from the outside if you ain't from around the area but the food is amazing and for the price you pay, the portions are massive. It's small inside and in demand so recommend you book via the phone! Thanks Steak N Stuff for a great meal.

Having a few days away in Skegness and just stumbled on Steak n stuff purely by accident looking for somewhere for dinner. What a find, we got a warm friendly greeting and the place had a lovely atmosphere. Our drinks order soon arrived and warm bread with minted butter arrived soon , whilst our order of the muscles in a white wine sauce and garlic mushrooms were being freshly cooked ,both were delicious. The place was busy and with only one lady serving and one chef cooking we were still check on by the lady whilst the King Prawn Sizzler and Pork Loin melt were being cooked, again both meals were delicious. The portion sizes are big so we didn't have room for a dessert but from the ones I could see other guests eating they looked delicious. So if you in Skegness and want delicious food served by helpful friendly people and a reasonable price then this it the place. I'd recommend for you. We would certainly return.

Cannot praise this restaurant enough. The food is always outstanding. The best food in this area bar none. Friendly staff and excellent chefs who work so hard with a passion. A must for all.

Wow. We were a party of 4 booked in. On arrival we were shown to a booth that due to size and disability 1 of the party could not sit down. Therefore not suitable for disabled,wheelchair users, overweight or heavily pregnant

Wow we were a party of 4 booked in on 22nd June 2024. This was by no means our first visit as we live locally. On arrival we were shown to a booth that 1 of out party could not sit at comfortably due to disabilities and size. All the booths are the same size so we had to leave. The moral of the story is, if you are disabled, wheelchair bound, overweight or even heavily pregnant don't bother because you can't sit down. However we found a better place, Aroma Burgh Road Skegness which was a much nicer experience and yes the food was even better.

The service here was excellent. We called at 18:30 the business accommodated our needs for a table of five by suggesting their last table as a booth for four. They gave us the heads up and also the booth was perfect in size for the five of us. Even better upon arrival they offered us 2 tables to ensure we could be accommodated comfortably. Food was quick and tasty. Drinks fast and this was a brilliant dining experience we all agreed we should have tried sooner :)

Excellent value try the sizzling dishes they a superb staff are all attentive highly recommend.

Spotted this place while driving past and decided to check it out with my wife and kids. Order taken very quickly, and drinks were served very promptly. Food took a while (about 40min) which meant our youngest started getting hungry and restless. However, there was what looked to be just two in the kitchen and one serving to a full venue, so we understood. The food was beautifully cooked and there was a lot of it. Lovely tender steak, cooked just how I like it (blue). Would definitely recommend this Lovely little place. 😊

Very good value for money, massive filling food portions and homemade pepper sauce was perfect. They even managed to get us a table at short notice, but advisable to book in advance. Do not let the front appearance put you off, amazing food and such good value for money! Will definitely be returning on our next visit to Skegness!

My partner & our friends dined here for the first time Friday night what a treat it was, we was child free and away for the evening with our friends we’ve been looking for somewhere to eat and my friends partner found steak and stuff. We went to Steak N Stuff before going to the Embassy for a show last night. Well what can we say, it was perfect from start to finish. I rang to book & left a message on an answerphone, a very prompt reply the next day confirming the booking. We arrived for the first sitting of the night, drinks were brought very quickly along with complimentary warm bread & butter, amazing start. We only had time for main, my husband had Cock & Bull, chicken & steak and he said it was the best steak he had ever tasted, and the chicken was just as good. Me and 2 friends had sizzling dishes, 1 steak with red wine & herb sauce, the other honey & mustard, and one just plain with no sauce. All were presented with chips & salad and the sizzling dishes in all cases were delicious. Very reasonably priced, we could not fault this restaurant, will definitely return, thank you.

This is the hidden gem of Skegness, we booked over a week ago , it’s a good job we did it was full , I think most of the customers were local people , ( always a good sign) the restaurant was spotlessly clean , the staff were very friendly,I have coeliac ( gluten free diet ) the staff knew all about what I could and couldn’t have , we all had roast dinners, the food was fantastic , it was delicious and definitely value for money,

Booked a table for last night, at the beginning of the week for my husband & myself to eat before attending The Embassy to see Sarah Millican. We have eaten here several times in the past prior to attending The Embassy & have never been disappointed. We live over an hour away & were very much looking forward to our meal! Arrived & was warmly welcomed & instantly seated, drinks order taken very swiftly as we decided from the extensive menu what to choose to eat. Such a varied choice & my husband decided on the Surf & Turf, jacket potato & vegetables while I ordered the Salmon, prawns, chips & vegetables. Our drinks had already arrived & we were given a courtesy serving of warm ciabatta-type bread & butter which was delicious. Within ten minutes our meals arrived, piping hot generous portions & beautifully presented. The vegetables were served in a side dish…carrots, cauliflower, broccoli & cabbage. All cooked fresh as you can see both the chefs working away in the kitchen area. The restaurant was filling up now & from the welcome they received, it was obvious these were regulars & like ourselves, very much looking forward to their dining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals which we felt were very reasonably priced & hope to return again soon to this lovely, welcoming restaurant & wish to thank all the staff for making the start to our night out in Skegness such a success. We will be back!!

This is by far one of the best steak houses I've ever been to. My mum took me here when it first opened 17ish years ago and it's still just as good now.

Booked a last minute table and we are so glad we went! What lovely and friendly staff, the food was delicious and any special requirements on the food was done with no fuss or problem, the salmon and king prawns were excellent as was the sweet potato fries. An excellent choice of desserts an almost impossible choice but one that was gladly done and enjoyed.

At last managed to get back to our favourite restaurant, we actually managed three visits in a week . As always the food was magnificent, it was lovely to see Faye & Carl again along with the amazing staff . We can't wait for our next visit. John & Margaret Morris

After reading the reviews for this restaurant we said we would try it out.On arrival we were warmly greeted ,promptly seated and given enough time to order our drinks and meals Fresh bread and butter was placed on the table before the starters arrived ,which was lovely..My brother had the garlic mushrooms which he said were fabulous,i had the tomato and basil soup which was lovely served with warm bread roll and butter.Our friend had the prawn cocktail which he said was really lovely.We all had different for our mains,Ribs Chicken Steak Gammon meals ,all were lovely and well presented and all lovely and tasty.My brother and i both had the homemade flake cheesecake with ice cream which was fabulous My husband and friend had the coffees. All in all a really lovely evening All staff were very pleasant and chatty.We have already booked to go back for my husbands birthday and will be sure to go again when we open our caravan up next season.

Pre booked a table for 13 adults and 6 children for a 40th birthday, staff are pleasant and the food was excellent all came out as requested and the steaks were perfectly cooked all the children's meals were perfect. Highly recommend to book a table,

Service is shocking waited 20 mins to be asked if we wanted a drink. Ordered food when it arrived it was thrown in front of me with a comment "Here you go". Looking around the restaurant all other tables were asked if everything is ok apart from mine. Asians not welcome!!

We had a delightful dinner experience at this restaurant. The medium-rare steak was cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. The mashed garlic potatoes were incredibly flavorful, and the dessert was a satisfying finish to our meal. Had a Saturday evening meal. And Sunday lunch last weekend. Both meals were delicious. All the staff work tirelessly to please their customers. Would definitely recommend booking in advance. Restaurant was full both times and they were having to turn customers away at the door. We had been here many times when we owned a caravan in Ingoldmells over 10 years ago and Faye actually remembered us.

Been to Steak N Stuff many times when we stay in Skegness. This week when we stayed we got take out, which was just as amazing. Top food, top staff, top service. Well worth the money!!

Fantastic steak! Such lovely staff, great food and a really professional kitchen- great choice for my birthday meal! If visiting with children they won’t be disappointed- the kids menu is extremely generous in portion size and the pudding is a brownie with ice cream which looked and smelt amazing- she didn’t feel like sharing that though… My husband and I both had fillet steak - I had salad, he had chips; our food was fresh, salad crunchy, chips hot and so much food we couldn’t finish it all! The queue was out of the door and all tables full. I cannot understate how hard the staff work and how efficient, skilled and friendly they were. I also loved the playlist! Parking is limited outside but there is space in the roads surrounding. I recommend advance booking too.

Food is nice, but tables are small. Don’t bother going if you’re 8 months pregnant. You’ll struggle to fit in the booths.

The food here is divine can highly recommend it. Everything is so fresh and the service is excellent. We booked a taxi home which didn't turn up so the owner drove us home how kind is that.

Absolutely brilliant! We tried for the first time today and had a takeaway Sunday Roast to have in the caravan. The best roast we've had for a long time! Huge portions, lots of fresh veg with it too and the roast potatoes are gorgeous. We will be coming every time we are here.

Absolute delight. Small enough to be personal, big enough to have that perfect atmosphere with your family. The ribeye steak was the best I’ve had in a long long while, served on a sizzling skillet. This is definitely not chain food. Every ingredient was simple but perfect in every way. All the good reviews are spot on. This is a must visit to add a memorable family meal to your memories. Also as a foot note . We had a small disabled grandchild who can be a noise and there was understanding and the right level of accommodation. If food could be on trust a trader then ide let them build me a house haha .

I would not go again. I had a a sirloin steak that had a very lot of fat on yes I complained and just got an apology.

We arrived at 6 to a virtually fully booked restaurant, we were asked to come back at 19.30 which we did, we both had the 16oz rump which was cooked to perfection, the table staff were extremely helpful and very efficient, next time I’m in Skegness we’ll definitely be back
