Nice calm atmosphere.Coffee is very good but cakes are rubbishy. I had chocolate banana cake👎🏻

First time trying Kun Yi House and wasn't disappointed, food was delivered hot and on time and was very tasty, would definitely recommend

Normally very good but tonight was awful The fish I think was reheated as very tough to cut and fish grey

I used this pub 30 years ago. My visit was a nostalgia trip. Not an unpleasant experience, but I really don't have any wish to return.

What a bad experience today. The wait for food was so long an hour and a half visit for a snack. There was a man serving food and he wasn’t at all friendly or welcoming and didn’t even manage a smile: The food seems to not be as good as on our regular visits. We certainly will never return due to the ridiculous waits.

I had the fish and chips tonight and I was very pleased with the price and the food was lovely, not to greasy or to crispy just right. Staff were lovely and polite would definitely recommend.

Absolutely disgusting, everything about it was vile, beef chow main was stone cold, chicken couldn’t been bite into it and the salt and pepper chips wasn’t even salt and pepper, won’t be coming here again !

Seems to have either closed for renovation or for good. Kinda disappointed 😞

The food wasn’t what we wanted, we asked for Kenyan style food she said poussin chicken and it wasn’t poussin at all, they put a whole lump of some different type of sauce and called it poussin wasn’t happy at all and the fries were hard not enjoyable Can’t go back again it was my first time and was very disappointed!!

Well done to all the staff at The Crown today a delicious lunch today. I had the Pork Chop which was cooked to perfection. Others had the crown burger and the nacho burger both fantastic. The cheesecake is always amazing, today’s choice was buenno. The bailies and banana trifle was excellent and I had plum crumble. We hope to be back soon

My partner is a fisherman and we brought a static caravan a few miles away so the first visit we went to look at the lakes and had lunch in the cafe, the food was amazing, there is no such thing as a small helping the portions are huge, we went for tea tonight and it was pie night, the pies are all home made and delicious, plus they do proper chips, so if you have a good appetite, like value for money and love great service from the friendly helpful staff this cafe has it all
