It was our Diamond Wedding Anniversary and we went here with the family to celebrate. The atmosphere was friendly and though the place got increasingly busy.. it was a Sunday lunchtime..the staff attended to each small request promptly. There were 6 of us ..three age groups and all thought our varied choices of food delicious. Served without undue delay and table cleared in a timely manner Happily recommend this Restaurant...

Really good quality food at reasonable price. Menu had good selection of dishes. All presented beautifully. The salmon with asparagus was perfect. The service couldn't have been better. Good selection of desserts. Highly recommended.

We booked to come here mid week for breakfast and both had the full English. It was nicely presented, good quality produce and plenty of it. The service was polite and Covid secure.

We're regular visitors to the Beeches and the standard is always high. Prosecco Brunch is an excellent addition to the menu. Great value for excellent food and would thoroughly recommend. Very friendly staff and high level of COVID-secure procedures.

Just had the Prosecco Brunch at the Beeches Bar and Restaurant! The food was delicious with a great selection to choose from! The refurbishments are fantastic and the restaurant also felt very COVID safe! Staff were super friendly would definitely come here again!

Delicious food (I mean just look at the photos) and amazing service. The Prosecco brunch was perfect for a Saturday morning. Love the new decor and they had really accommodated for COVID restrictions so was an extremely comfortable environment. Would 100% recommend for anyone wanting to enjoy the perfect brunch for a Saturday.

We Visited The Beeches for a belated Mother’s Day get together as we were unable to celebrate in March and we’re so pleased we did. Warm welcoming smiles from the wonderful friendly staff and the great service continued throughout our whole meal. The refurbishment really looks fantastic!!! All the tables are spaced to allow for social distancing and we all felt comfortable, safe, relaxed and able to really enjoy ourselves. All four of us had two courses with each meal looking and tasting amazing! Thank you to all the staff at The Beeches, we can’t wait to visit again soon!

Came for a meal and drinks with my family Tuesday night. The experience was 5 star. Brilliant service, lovely staff and the food was to die for. Would totally recommend the beeches burger! I will be defiantly be coming again and will be recommending the beeches restaurant to all Of my Friends! Great atmosphere great food and great staff what else could you possibly want ! Thankyou

I fancied a vegetarian meal. They had a gnocchi dish on the menu. The gnocchi was chewy and the veg barely cooked. I took it back and changed it for a vegetable biriyani. This came with a popadom dripping in oil and a bowl of rice mixed with similar veg to the gnocchi dish. The staff were sympathetic to my complaints but looked genuinely surprised by my description of the shortcomings. I find it hard to believe anyone in the Midlands has not had a biriyani or knows what a papadum should look like.

I'm doing a bit of travelling at the moment and seem to be becoming a bit of a connoisseur on breakfasts and this on didn't disappoint. 2 of sausage, egg and bacon. Beans, mushrooms, scrambled eggs and toast. All good quality and well presented. Stuffed now but content.

Nice food nicely presented bit price £14 for burger but chicken pieces not flat burger as you would expect all meals £13 upwards gammon and egg or pineapple advertised but asked if needed both so said yes then on bill been charged for £1 for egg and pineapple? But seem to be busy some nights more than others

Very dry food, kept warm by strong lights. Scrambled eggs poor, bacon virtually fat free (Rare and good), sausages are Cumberland style. This would have been great if not so dried out. Breakfast seating staff seemed to be still half asleep.

As guests staying for one night in the hotel I didn’t know what to expect food wise. We were tired after traveling and didn’t fancy venturing out. Glad we didn’t, just enjoyed the best steak for ages and my wife enjoyed her chicken pie. Great food :)

We dine here reasonably frequently, but this occasion we visited with friends who had not eaten there before. Again, all four meals were served promptly with attentive but discreet service. Happy to recommend without any reservations.

We had a evening at Oscar's, meeting up with family, it has a really relaxed a welcoming atmosphere. The bar staff are really nice and friendly & helpful, we was a group of 8 some of us ate, me and my husband shared 4 starters, peking duck x 2, chicken skewer & whitebait, they was all really good and the portions quite large for starters. Another couple, had salmon encroute, it looked good and 2 empty plates, they both said it was really good.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch for 10 people to celebrate two family birthdays. Food was good (mostly Roast lamb, but 3 people had other choices from quite varied menu, often a bit limited elsewhere for Sunday lunch), starters and puddings also tasty. Food all hot and arrived at same time, sometimes not the case when a larger group. Reasonable prices for both food and wine. We had a separate room just off the bar which was pleasant. Thank you, we will be back.

Me impresionó el pimentón pollo, aunque el aoli deberían tener más ajo. La carne también era bastante bueno. Si estás en la zona, entonces vale la pena una visita.

There is an excellent menu with main courses ranging from about £10-15 and something to suit most people. There are daily specials in addition to the regular menu, and we were more than happy to eat there for three days. The food is definitely restaurant rather then bar standard and the restaurant has a smart modern decor, good sized tables and comfortable chairs. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, even with a group of 8 people trying to make choices.You should note that orders are only taken to 7pm on a Sunday.

The waiting staff served all 12 of us very well. Good sized portions and tasty and interesting food. No real faults found, would have been 5 out of 5 if they didn't greedily keep all the deposits for the places we had pre cancelled.

It's brilliant that this little hotel has a full service restaurant. Compare and contrast with Premier Inn or Travelodge, which I like for budget trips, but is often basic when it comes to eating and drinking. The food is really very good and freshly prepared. Excellent all round.

Quite reasonable sized food portions. Very helpful staff. Bit pricey though, but the food was tasty and they did cater for my 2 starters, 1 with my husband's main! Tables in bar were a bit high in comparison with chairs.

This is a cosy hotel close to West bridgford and Nottingham. Good food, pleasant service and nice lounge bar environment. Good for lunch, coffee and meetings. Also has decent conference facilites and nice pool and gym area. Very well located for Trent bridge cricket ground, Nottingham Forest and Nottingham City football grounds and the National Watersports centre.

Really?Yes that is true! Went for MOTHERS day. Great service.Lamb dinner was delicious (c£12) lovely moist tender meat... Did think they were shy on the veggies....could have done with a few more. Charging 75p for a Yorkshire I must admit felt mean on their part. Not sure of the justification other than to bump up revenue but surely a Yorkshire should be a staple part of any Sunday roast??The puddings were generous and the blackberry and apple crumple was delicious. I eat here once or twice a week and I always find that the food is always great and the presentation good, even though I always have an omelette you can tell the chef has taken time to present it well . The staff are always immaculately turned out and very polite and friendly , whenever I need to work using my laptop I head over to Oscars get a coffee , plug in to the free wifi and work in a lovely and peaceful atmosphere .

Decent bar style food offering the usual choices, but I found the beer rather expensive, with a couple of courses and 2 drinks costing over £25.

What I love the most is how quiet it is. My partner and I eat here every other month and it's always very quiet. I think the location is the biggest reason for that.It is by no means cheap, but the food is worth the money. The menu changes all the time so there's always something new to try.The staff are always very welcoming and friendly here. We've always felt looked after after a visit. If you've never been and live in Notts I would urge you to pay a visit.

Eat in here on a regular basis. The place is always spotless, the service always excellent and the food always very good. The menu changes regularly throughout the year giving a good variety of meals and light bites. My only criticism is why have they suddenly decided to join the "craze" of serving food on a wooden chopping board with chips in a mug? Food falls off the "plate" and surely the wooden board is extreamly difficult to clean properly. This is only a minor criticism and will not stop me from eating in there again but please, just for me, serve food on a plate.

Local beer was a plus, not bad surrounding. Food was better than I expected but a little on the pricey side. £27 for two courses, two drinks and a coffee.

Southwell 41 Club had an excellent night out here yesterday on the occasion of our formal Ladies' Night. Sandip and his staff were well organised to look after all 38 of us very well and served varied and excellent food promptly and efficiently. We took over the whole restaurant for the evening and the friendly team helped us develop a great atmosphere from the outset. I would recommend this for any private party wanting something a bit special in comfortable and attractive surroundings.
