The best restaurants in East Midlands

Nice polite bar staff but food poor. Served fish and chips and the chips looked like they been sat there all day. Cup of tea served tasted disgusting they needed the water changing. My nachos tasteless. Wouldn’t go again disappointed food wise.

It is regrettable that the website does not indicate the cessation of food service. Updating it would prevent unnecessary trips.

I ordered my food at 18h40 estimated delivery of 35min it arrived at 20h15. food all cold and dry. super late and not enjoyable and had to eat after all the family already had their meal ages ago.

Lovely food! Very tasty range of curries and byriani. Came for our Granddads Bday and had a great meal with a surprise dessert treat at the end! Great friendly service throughout.

Excellent service and quality real ales. Good place to watch sports on TV.

There’s an argument that you shouldn’t recommend good place as next time you come there are no free tables. Saying that the bacon sandwich was the best I have had in a long time and the pancakes fresh and cooked to perfection. We’ll be back!

We popped in here after I saw a FB post about it. This is a lovely pub and a great landlord who is trying to build a clientele. If you are able to spare some time, pop in and support the pub, take some friends along and add this to your night out. Support our local pubs!

Overall good food. We had buffet on mother’s day(sunday). £25/ person plus taxes Parking was an issue.we should park on the other side of the road n walk down to resturant. Edit:There is space backside and we thought its restuarants parking but its written £100pound for parking,and the other space for staff or reserved.

Absolutely gutted . Been today from Sheffield and although it states on website open its actually shut and looks like its been renovated..please update the website so people know..had to go elsewhere which was nowhere near as good and cost more aswell ..Still ticked 5 as it always is so good..

What can I say about this lovely little bakery? The minute we walked in we were greeted with a warm, friendly atmosphere. We were there with friends and family. We ordered our drinks and snacks which were promptly served. The coffee is very smooth and actually served in earthen ware cups, which keeps it warmer for longer. I ordered the date and walnut scone. Although it was close to closing time, the scone was still very fresh and absolutely delicious. I'm not one for butter or cream dressings, so I do like my scones naked. All I can say is, you need to try this place to believe it. I will be returning and would recommend in a heartbeat. We left with more goidies too. Please check it out, you won't regret it x

Remarkably good. Excellent coffee (made properly) taste of the coffee is different to anything you would find around. It actually tastes how you would want a coffee to taste if you were to go out and enjoy one. The breakfasts and cakes look insane and we will deffo be back.

Wow, everything was perfect. Food service just everything loved it. And I'm very fussy eater. I had the lamb wrap. And my partner had steak ciabatta the meat was cooked to perfection. Definitely coming back soon.
