Sandy’s Bar & Kitchen in Mansfield

First time at this lovely little place. Friendly staff. Place itself was comfortable and clean.Food was excellent, the best steak I've had in a long time. Great value for money, portion size is very good. One gripe is it's card only, not everyone will have this option apart from that I would highly recommend a meal here.

I ordered a burger a week ago. Im still sat here starving. The pool table is also bent. Lovely staff but if i have to wait any longer I'll have to book myself into an anorexic centre.

Massive portions that broke me. The service was superb,very clean and a very comfortable bar/restaurant. Honestly I was very surprised at how good it was, I think being in a football club I wasn't expecting much, I couldn't believe how wrong I was. Definitely going again.

Sandys is our new favourite place to eat. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced, lager is about £1.50 cheaper than other locals. The staff are really polite and friendly, they all actually seem happy to be working there, and a mix of ages, refreshing! I've taken my 8 year old, he loved it - it's a great family friendly local.

Best Sunday dinner ever!! Lovely drinks, lovely food and we have been here so many times and the food never disappoints! However I did book Saturday afternoon for Sunday, I called up asking for a table and they took my name and number but they never wrote my booking down so I felt awkward when we turned up and they told us we weren’t on the list when we definitely booked. They did make us up a table and resolved the problem though which was good service so thank you!

Was visiting Sandy's Bar for my friend's birthday celebrations. I absolutely loved it there - the atmosphere was great and the food was beautiful. I had fish and chips, it was so scrumptious. The staff were very lovely. They made the celebrations very special. I will definitely be back when I will be visiting Mansfield. Also, I highly recommend the Bar to everyone. Thank you!

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch here at Sandys. I highly recommend trying for Sunday dinner. The three meat roast was delicious and left just enough room for a pudding. Vegetarian options are available. Service was great and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again. ** The extra Yorkshire puddings in the pictures are £2 Each (which I'd say was a little overpriced)

Went here to try the new Christmas menu they had just launched, (turns out we were customers 1 & 2), and it was absolutely SUPERB. We had the full 3 courses, which is only £18 and everything was beautiful, the food is piping hot, tastes great and you get a good sized portion. The chef, (Lenny), even came out to talk to us to make sure we were happy with everything, she was so lovely. The staff are so attentive, and Mandy at the bar always made sure we weren't waiting for drinks and did we want another round. I can't fault this place at all, great service, excellent food and warm and friendly staff, we will definitely be back!!

Went here with a work do. Good atmosphere. Beef cob was lovely, chips were a little dry. Pool table too close to the bar. Decent booze. Would go again.

We went as my son wanted to treat us, we made it simple and just ordered steaks, best steak I have had in a long time, had to thank the chef and staff they made us welcome and comfortable, not a place we would normally have visited, but we will go again if they would have us, not sure what they cooked the chips in but even they where delicious

Lovely place! Such friendly staff and well cooked food. Took our two young kids and they enjoyed their meals - especially the icecream!

Been coming here for many years and never had a complaint. But last visit, the food was awful! The burger was like a slightly warmed leftover. Lifted the top and the cheese was congealed and glued to the burger, a layer of breadcrumbs sticking to it from the stale bun. Fries were always great, with a delicious coating. This time they were unpeeled and full of black imperfections with no coating, inedible! If you aren't making a profit, raise the price, don't lower the quality. Visit was 20th April '22. I won't be back. Thanks for the past.

We visited here for Sunday lunch, having not been for a while and we weren't disappointed. It is by far and away, the best value for money Sunday lunch around, despite the slight increase in the price. The staff are extremely efficient and attentive and very friendly. The food is cooked perfectly and there is a good selection of veg on the plate. We had a Sunday dinner, but other meals also looked great(I was being nosey). We will definitely be coming again and we may try and fit a dessert in next time, although I doubt we will have room... Again.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch at this venue will definitely be coming back.the pork was delicious and plentiful .the staff were cheerful and polite a credit to the club well done to those all involved.

30 mins into the football, the sound goes off and the disco lights come on, music absolutely blaring out, never had to leave to go to another pub mid-way through a football game

Went to game on Saturday against Bradford 3 nil win fantastic greatly need on would and up the league we go.was in hospitality suite up stairs at ground food really good three courses service very good .enjoyed the day and result. Went into sandy pates bar after game sevice quick and efficient would recommend a trip to one call stadium. Come on you stags

Pure food review - can't fault it in the slightest! Had a meal here with ~15 people so we placed food orders in advance. Food massively exceeded expectations, tasted absolutely brilliant. Staff all very friendly and accommodating of a large group, and managed our paying individually incredibly well. Recommend to anyone in the area who's after a meal.

First time for food at Sandy pate sports bar. We had a Sunday lunch and it was fantastic. My partner had the lamb shank. It was Devine. I'm not a lamb fan but even I could have eaten it. I had the chicken. It just melted in your mouth. We loved it that much we have booked in for Valentine's day.

Ordered vegetarian but didn't get it very disappointing meal not value for money Why should I spend £28 for a vegetarian meal to not even get one because there weren't enough and not enough staff at the bar plus they were arguing.
