I was give the wrong order and was not impressed to say I order from princess garden twice a week. and not had bad food from them to say council food grade is a 1 but when they start mixing food orders up when it's not bizzey is bad so probably start going to new Chinese.

Great food, use regularly, delivery fast, excellent service normally, trouble is on many occasions lately website says open but no one answers phone and claim to be closed???? Weird!! Shame for such a great takeaway and cracking delivery times, just have the decency to answer the phone or show on your website that you are actually closed!!!

Quite surprised how good it was. The usual chinese was shut but this was a decent back up!

I thought there were no good Chinese restaurants in Mansfield anymore. However, today Princess surprised me. Very tasty, modest but clean, which is the biggest advantage. the service was friendly and smiling and the food was delicious. I recommend it, I will use it myself.

Had a really bad meal from this place the chicken was overcooked and so hard to bite into, the curry sauce did not taste how it was supposed to it tasted sour, would not recommend to anyone not worth the £35 me and my family payed for.

Worst chinese we have ever had, absolutely disgusting. We had a pleasant experience a few years back from here and thought we would try again. We'll never again. What a waste of £35, Had to throw it in the bin!

It was my first time ordering from Princess Garden. I ordered two items. The first was Spare ribs in honey sauce. I have to say they were delicious. They were cooked perfectly for my taste and I'd definitely give them a solid 9 they cost me £6.70. I also ordered the Szechuan chicken It was Very good and tasted lovely. They cost me £6.10 i would definitely order from Princess Garden again.

Just had Beef chow mein with spicy curried vegetables absolutely spot on.

First time ordering from here and can honestly say we weren't disappointed. We fancied a change from our regular dishes so we had the B3 set meal for 2 @ £25. We didn't order any extras and we didn't need them as there is more than enough for 2. The food was piping hot and arrived well within the 30 minute delivery quoted. It was very tasty and both the person on the phone and the delivery guy were very friendly. Won't hesitate to order again.

Horrible. Didn’t eat it tried a bite of each all rubbish all over cooked salt and pepper chicken was genuinely inedible should have known when they said 15 min it would be rubbish. No veg in anything

Minus 1 we pop in on Saturday on our way home the food was disgusting the rice was overcooked the chips were vile chicken balls were so dark and had no taste and the curry sauce omg I can't say what it looked like. Everything went in the bin before we were sick do not waste your money go elsewhere. Sorry but I had to be honest the worst I've ever tried to eat

This is by far the best food I've had in a long while this is now my new local Chinese the family love it.

We use to enjoy ordering take out from this Chinese delivery restaurant The Princess Garden but have now since seriously felt the need to edit & update our review from 5 star to just 1 star to express our extreme disappointment & disgust with this Restaurant! Prices use to be reasonable but the Greedy owner has since decided to triple increase prices to all food menu items beyond ridiculous! We also notice the food quality has drastically gone downhill & suspect meals are just being microwaved as they arrive within 10 minutes of telephone ordering! It is not what it used to be & we're very reluctant to order from this restaurant in future! Time to find a different Chinese takeaway restaurant we think! We No longer recommend this place! Very Disappointing!

Had it tonight normally really nice but tonight was horrid no flavour and was all really dry will give it a miss from now on

Excellent, very polite with a smile Taste of food.. Good ( may be because am a spicy lover so I found it very sweet, but taste wise it's really good). Food was piping hot. .. One of the best takeaways I have had. Great food and friendly staff.

Always enjoy our meals from here, great portions, great service however I rang tonight an was told by the lovely girl on the phone were busy tonight, I asked if I'd be waiting for delivery upto 2hrs, reply was oh no not that long so I placed my order. My order went in at 6.30..... my food arrived at 9.15, safe to say I was not happy at all, second time I've been on the brink of eating my feet

Picked up dinner and again something missing from the bag it's the 3rd time in the last few months getting fed up of having to go back and all you get is sorry and some fortune cookies which are disgusting give a 2 star as food is nice when you get it.

First time we've ordered from this Chinese & definaltey wasn't dissapointed. My partner is normally quite fussy & complains most Chinese takeaways are bland , leading us back to our original one near by our house. However he was blown away by the freshness & flavour of all the food & were so glad we gave it a try. We would definaltey order again with a doubt! Very impressed!!

We have tried others but always come back to Princess Garden because it is always the best, food and staff. 🙂

Hi Daniel, just to reply to the review you have just given us. I work at Princess Garden and just want to give the full story on what happened last night as I don’t think it is very fair that you’re twisting the story because you weren’t allowed a full refund. I was here when the phone call was made and you was laughing whilst making the order. You asked for chicken in peking sauce and the lady explained to you that we don’t have peking sauce and instead we do Cantonese sauce which is very similar and she explained this to you and you was okay with that. You later rang back after having your order delivered and eating ALL OF IT that it was not very ‘tasty’. The lady said she was more than happy to refund you as you did not enjoy it if you brought the food back to store or if one of our drivers could collect it. But you refused that offer and said you had already eaten it. So you was just after a free meal. We had explained to you that every Chinese is different and we don’t all have the exact same tastes it’s just very similar. Some are more sweet and some are more chilli. You then went on how you wanted certain meals for free which obviously we are not able to do as you didn’t return the food to us. If you would like to pop in on a Friday evening when I am here then I am more than happy to help and come up with a reasonable solution. Many thanks for your review. Hope to hear back soon 🙂

This take away it's sick. We received wrong order what we order. Lady who on the phone not speak very well of english and she don't wanna change for correct order becouse we try and mix with rice and she say when we not try and not mix she will be swap with new order and she can send to another custumer where it's for me not normal

Always nice food here and my favourite in Mansfield. I can recommend trying some of the chefs specials. Though my favourite is the Beef Curry.. (Usually with Chips) 😁

Lovely local Chinese. Perhaps doesn't get the attention it deserves due to not operating through Just Eat. Food is always delicious and promptly prepared. Prices are good and comparable to other outlets. Try the Jil Yeun spicy chips and chicken in pineapple!

Always a lovely Chicken Curry and Chicken and Black Bean Sauce. Ordered from here several times and not once have I been disappointed.

Chips with egg fried rice and curry sauce for around five pounds happily feeds 2.
