We went for afternoon tea - we chose one of each - one savoury and one sweet. Both delicious and freshly prepared. We were made so welcome, cannot fault it.

Came to Caldero but they still served us food with 5 minutes before the kitchen closed was well impressed staff was brilliant and many thanks to the chef who went above and beyond We booked at prezzos only to be told they was closed So once again thanks cadero

Afternoon tea treat for Mums Birthday. Delicious tasty treats, beautiful sausage roll and sandwiches and lovely tea and coffee too.

We hadn't been out for a while, so decided to go to The Six Bells, that always had a good menu in the past, if a little on the more expensive side. Drinks: I ordered Ghost Ship 0.5% from the menu, only to be told there wasn't any. There were only lager type alternatives. Former beer drinkers generally don't especially like lager. Also, it should be born in mind that close to 100% of diners will have driven to the venue. So, not a good start. Having previously had a very good haunch of venison at another venue, that I was told that I would have to wait for, I ordered the venison at the same time as our drinks. The venison and half rotisserie chicken arrived minutes later. The venison had clearly been pre-cooked and warmed up. It didn't look that inviting and was on a cold plate. Some of the accompanying vegetables were overcooked (eg broccoli), others undercooked (three mini carrots sticking up in the air!) The slab of 'pommes anna potatoes' was the worst kind of potato, so I pinched some of my wife's chips. As the meal progressed, the chips were the only warm item of food. The venison and 'pommes anna' were particularly unpleasant as they became cold. The cold plate, plus sitting in a draught (indoors) made the whole main course experience unpleasant. My partner's chicken came with 'dressed leaves' = a massive amount of lettuce - far too much to eat. Again, on a cold plate. Wouldn't it be more sensible to have the chicken and chips on a hot plate, with an accompanying side salad. She did however, enjoy the chicken - which incidentally quickly became sold out. We asked for the sweet menu, only to be disappointed with the selection. We decided to call it a day. I gave the relevant feedback and £5 was deducted from the bill. Recently, my wife had an operation and this was supposed to be something of a celebration in getting out at last! Since that 'Op', I have been doing the cooking. Even I WARM THE PLATES.

Just been to hostess for our annual mother's day meal it was perfect as usual the best ever friendly staff nothing to much trouble Andrew nia sue the perfect hosts also like to thank them for the lovely mothers day gift just perfect

Literally one of the best pizzas I've ever had Chef was very friendly and informative, gave me a background on where the ingredients were sourced and the inspiration for the menu. Pizzas were made fresh on the spot, the chef even did the classic dough spinny thing. If you love pizza then this is the place

Family and dog Friendly local. The beer is always good, particularly the Guinness, good sized beer garden. Live music and events at the weekend, great pub grub and a delicious Sunday carvery. Friendly staff and ample parking. What more could you ask for? Perfect!

Went in to have a go on an arcade machine I spotted through the window. Got accused of trying to use the toilet for free, explained what I was doing and got accused of lying. Bit of a strange one. Doesn’t exactly give a good impression of the business overall. Wouldn’t recommend going here if you like good customer service! 👎
