Perfect place for us to spend a few days whilst attending Cadwell Park Bank Holiday weekend races. Clean, compact with all the facilities needed. The room was checked every day of our visit, which was nice + resupplying the teas and coffees etc. Pretty much in the centre of Market Rasen to shop for supplies or eat out and to explore further afield. Not too far away from the racecourse, if that's your passion.

Went here with my husband and a friend for post-parkrun breakfast/brunch. Although vegan options were not marked up on the menu, we asked about vegan options and the lady was very accommodating. She was very careful and checked with us about allergies. Great attention to detail and care, even checking about chocolate sprinkles on the capuccinos and assuring us that there was no milk in the bread they used for toast. Impressed as most places don't go to that extent. Very pleasant experience and great full English (vegan) breakfast. Highly recommend!

First time visit for a festive afternoon tea for 2 , what a delight made to feel welcome as soon as we opened the door , shown to our table and a great fuss made of our dog (who lapped it up) by all the staff , a bowl of fresh water was bought to her even before our drinks arrived the service was great and the food was delicious and plenty of it, pigs in blankets, 2 different sorts of sandwiches ,sausage rolls, crisps, fresh melon ,salad garnish homemade scone jam, cream and strawberry and the top hat the most delicious mince pie I have ever tasted with pouring cream no hesitation in giving this little gem a 10 star review well worth our 70 mile round trip

Had lunch there with my husband today and we both had the Wolds platter which was substantial and very tasty. Beautifully presented and using local cheeses and meats. Highly recommended and we will return to sample more of their varied menu in the near future.

We recently visited the March hare… and if I could do a lower rating I would. Most of the waiting staff looked like they should all still be in school and most certainly should be learning manners there. After being seated we had to wait 15 minutes to be served despite the cafe not being busy, we eventually went to the counter to order as that’s what we assumed we had to do to then be told that they’d get an order from our table. We ordered a blt, breakfast brunch and eggs Benedict with no sauce. We were waiting 40-50 minutes for our food to arrive but weren’t told before hand that there would be a wait. There was a man in a bucket cap that kept walking back and forward into the kitchen, I’d have liked to hope that he was helping in the kitchen to make service quicker but looking at him I don’t think it would’ve kept up with kitchen hygiene. We were so hungry at this point we ate what we could but the eggs in both meals were snotty and the bacon in the baguette was mostly fat. No one came to check on us and no offer to take anything off of the bill when it came to payment. All in all, it’s an ok setting and location however staff and food do not match and definitely not worth the money. None of us will be returning.

I would not recommend eating here. Good for darts and playing Pool. We had a bad stomach after eating here. It is cheap.
