Unfortunately it was nearly empty about a dozen people including us three.people were eating and so we decided to have something.sausage and bacon sandwich came with a few chips and salad.it. Was hot and very good.bear in mind this pub is in the centre of market rasen.on a race day you will be queuing to get in.good range of food beer and lagers.car parking limited and very tight.probably worth four ⭐ on a race day

Ordered chilli, rice was cold, so complained! Meal! Including mayo on chips, was reheated in microwave, and brought back! Girl serving! Gave me such a dirty look, noticed food had been microwaved, complained again 🙃 Just asked for money back! VILE

Called into the Aston Arms today for dinner whilst shopping in Market Rasen, the food was amazing and the staff were courteous and friendly, I would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting great food and a great collection of ales.

Can't rate the food as didn't eat here but the pub itself is very nice, clean and the restaurant area does look appealing. Small beer garden for the warmer days and a good selection of drinks.

The lad behind the bar took 15 minutes to get my pint. It seems he has no concept of serving people in order even though I’d paid. No acknowledgment of my wait. I gave the staff 4 reminders that I was still waiting. Eventually another woman intervened and got my drink. I was hoping for a few pints but left as I could not face the prospect of going to the bar again. Don’t recommend.

Myself and my friends have been going into this pub for a number of years but I have been prompted to write a review following one that I have recently read regarding the brunette member of staff. I am so pleased that someone else has experienced the same attitude from her as we have, I really thought it was just me and my mates that she took offence to. It really is like Faulty Towers how she will blatantly ignore you and serve and chat to her friends instead. I am 40 years old and I have never experienced anything like it. It's a real shame that she is like this as I do like the pub but I won't be going back in whilst she is there. Hopefully she will move on and get a far more appropriate job like a traffic warden!!!! On a positive, the choice of lagers is good but me and my mates will be off to the Swan!!!!!

Awful service. Rudest bar staff who only look after their freinds. No considerations for the locals. The brunette fat short member of staff should be sacked.

Mediocre at best, kids, dogs, noise and food that was OK, best bit was chunky chips. I won't be rushing back. Shame as its local and I hoped for better. It was also difficult to work out the difference between staff and customers

Lovely little country pub, stopped for a late lunch on Saturday, fast service & food was excellent for the price. Last time I visited was a few years ago & had Lincolnshire sausage pie couldn't find it on the menu this time which was a shame as I remembered how delicious it was, ordered a all day breakfast which was lovely although not Lincolnshire sausage, my partner had a cheeseburger which he said was lovely.

Over the recent weeks it has lost it charm and some of its friendly staff. The food has always been good quality and hopefully the cook remains, however the cost of a packet of crisps at £1.20 is excessive.

Probably the nicest place in Market Rasen for a drink. A good selection of drinks to be had, friendly staff, food good. There is a nice outdoor area with shelter and they let dogs in the pub which is a bonus.

Excellent friendly pub with extremely good value for money meals for All the family. Parking is available in front of the pub making it a perfect venue for lunch with a drink or a rest and a coffee.

Nice place for a few beers and a great value meal. Football and rugby shown on TV's in one half of the pub. Other half is quieter for drinks and food. Food is good.

Stopped for lunch found the place busy so had a bit of a wait but it was well worth the time. Home made pie excellent chip could be better.

We had lunch here today, arriving about 12 noon, got our drinks and ordered lunch from very comprehensive and clear menus. Slight delay in getting the food due to a fault with a griddle but soon back on track. Delicious food, friendly/helpful staff behind the bar and in the kitchen. Value for money. Would definitely recommend a visit. Very well patronised by locals and (I think) Ramblers. Deserves to be a success. NB some sites quote the wrong telephone number and one Google review said they didn't do food in the week! Found the correct number and got confirmation they did lunch daily. Glad we persevered.

Traditional pub set at the back of the market place in Market Rasen. Good choice on menu with very reasonable prices. Food was good, unfortunately no Theakstons available on the day, but overall an enjoyable experience.

Called in for food on a Tuesday evening but unfortunately due to lack of customers the pub only offers food Saturday, Sunday and Monday. However, they were happy for us to eat our takeaway in the garden with our drinks. Very friendly staff. Thanks

A nice independent pub in the centre of town. Thankfully one that Paul Weeks has not got his hands on because once he gets hold of a pub he increases the prices and spoils the atmosphere. 8/10 for the Aston.

I'd say the best pub in the village for a nice chilled quiet pint, it's lively don't get me wrong but the other pubs in the area seem to be full of loud mouth youths (nothing wrong with that) I was looking to just sit back and enjoy a pint, nice church behind too.

Friendly local pub. We were visiting Market Rasen and staying overnight for the races. We joined in the pub quiz and raffle and the regular customers and landlord were very welcoming. Will definitely come back for a visit.

Had chips fried egg and sausage Easy dish you'd think What a disappointment Sausage over done and greasy Chips were mostly scraps and egg was cut into a diamond shape so most of my white was missing This new cheif is rubbish ......

Just been to the Aston Arms Market Rasen. Had a steak and Stout pie with extra gravy chips and peas. OMG it was amazing! It's real home made with plenty of filling and the taste was fabulous. Gravy to die for, nice and thick! Great value for money, would absolutely recommend!

Well kept beer......His Nibs reckons it's the best ever pint of Black Sheep.
