The whole process from the initial booking right through to the evening meal with my family was absolutely fabulous, the level of service has to be commended. Then you factor in the quality of food served, amazing flavours combined with portion size that allows you to enjoy your meal without ever feeling bloated.

Really enjoyed our Hitchens Barn lunch experience. Very accommodating of the toddler in our group, really good service and above all the food ( souffle, scotch eggs, soup, fish dishes and one meat course) was beautifully presented and tasted really good. Special mention for the 3 course set menu that one person had which was specially good value. Only downside is need to put plenty of time aside on Saturday for parking.. which I didn't so was late.

Terrific, elegant, authentic sushi in Newark, Nottinghamshire? Absolutely, and at very reasonable prices with exceptional, friendly, family service. This was Ga Sushi last Saturday night (the only evening it opens at the moment, otherwise daytime only). The spicy Tan Tan Tuna starter (a seaweed cone of rice topped with spicy shredded tuna, delicious) and the delicately constructed and arranged seafood sushi main course. I had the Hana Nigiri 14-piece set menu sushi with tuna, prawn, seaweed salad etc. Tasted as good as it looks. Superb. Companions opted for the mixed veggie ramen bowl and some had ice cream for dessert. The Hong Kong family running Ga Sushi plan to expand the menu and apply for an alcohol licence. Meanwhile drinks options include alcohol-free beer at just £3.50 and bubble tea. I had both and my first-ever bubble tea was interesting and novel but far sweeter than anything I’d normally drink. Total bill with tip, £25 per head - a bargain. Diners please note – this is highly sophisticated, beautiful food at bargain prices. The surroundings are clean, bright and basic – but you are there for the food, right, not expensive upholstery? The warm welcome comes free. And incidentally, one couple there on Saturday had come from Nottingham – because nowhere in the city has sushi as good as this... Saturday is currently the only evening opening, otherwise daytime only for now.

Great lunch, relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff.

I recently visited Jamel's Lebanese Food whilst out, and was impressed with the service by the staff. The staff were friendly, approachable and welcoming. There's a range of different Lebanese delicacies which you can choose from. The restaurant is quite cosy. There's lots of lovely art displayed, and even a mini library so you can have some food and drink whilst reading a book. It's a lovely restaurant and I recommend trying it out if you want to try something different.

Laxton Park CC - 2024 Season Dinner Last Saturday we had a takeaway for our end of season dinner held at our Clubhouse. We could not have been looked after anymore with plenty of curry which was delicious and even gave some extra poppadoms, onion bhajis, samosas and Bombay potatoes. If you are ever thinking of hosting an event like this would highly recommend 10 Dining Street, thanks and look forward to doing it again next year!

Having just moved to Oakham in the last month my wife and I were looking forward to our first meal out. Everest Lounge was the start of a long list of eating places to try, unfortunately one of the dishes we tried was not served as described "Vegan Bhuna" the first ingredient in the description was "Asparagus" and the dish had no Asparagus, this had been substituted with peas....not a great substitute and a very very poor explanation from the staff. The saving grace was a good atmosphere and a very good cold, crisp Bulgarian Chardonnay, it will be a long time before we return as you don't get a second chance to make a first impression.

Well I have rated this place before and decided to go again and yes it was again fantastic- Greek night - mid week so a fantastic thing to do breaking up the week with a real special time - Leo - Skye and team you are fantastic - a real gem in the heart of Rutland - A must when visiting the area 🙏

I absolutely love the Grainstore. Food impeccable lovely atmosphere. However, I booked a table for Sunday lunch on Sunday 23 rd March. I was in the Grainstore on Friday and said to the staff see you Sunday !! We arrive for our Sunday roast to find the doors locked! More customers stood outside!!! A lady opens the door and says sorry we are closed for a private function!!!! Not impressed why take my booking? No information stating it was closed on Friday regarding Sunday… this is very poor . So disappointed

Boys weekend away and exactly what we needed. Dartboard, sports on TV, no pretentions, nice landlord, etc

Lovely family owned business. We ate in and enjoyed a fabulous starter and mixed kebabs with baklava and Turkish tea to finish. Highly recommend.
