Terrific, elegant, authentic sushi in Newark, Nottinghamshire? Absolutely, and at very reasonable prices with exceptional, friendly, family service. This was Ga Sushi last Saturday night (the only evening it opens at the moment, otherwise daytime only). The spicy Tan Tan Tuna starter (a seaweed cone of rice topped with spicy shredded tuna, delicious) and the delicately constructed and arranged seafood sushi main course. I had the Hana Nigiri 14-piece set menu sushi with tuna, prawn, seaweed salad etc. Tasted as good as it looks. Superb. Companions opted for the mixed veggie ramen bowl and some had ice cream for dessert. The Hong Kong family running Ga Sushi plan to expand the menu and apply for an alcohol licence. Meanwhile drinks options include alcohol-free beer at just £3.50 and bubble tea. I had both and my first-ever bubble tea was interesting and novel but far sweeter than anything I’d normally drink. Total bill with tip, £25 per head - a bargain. Diners please note – this is highly sophisticated, beautiful food at bargain prices. The surroundings are clean, bright and basic – but you are there for the food, right, not expensive upholstery? The warm welcome comes free. And incidentally, one couple there on Saturday had come from Nottingham – because nowhere in the city has sushi as good as this... Saturday is currently the only evening opening, otherwise daytime only for now.

We have been to Sarpech many times and always had a great experience. The staff are very professional and attentive, whilst maintaining a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The food is a notch up from regular Indian/curry house fayre. We had a take away delivered yesterday, it was of restaurant quality.

Went here for a lunch for less and the food, at £23 for two courses or £27 for three was outstanding. Lovely leisurely service and a fabulous experience. Spring flowers on every surface. Superb.

Lunch time. 1 Chicken Katsu curry with rice, 1 Charshui Ramen, 2 Jasmine tea. £36. The food was delicious. I only gave 3 stars for service because you fill out an order sheet and take it to the kitchen and pay first. They have 8 tables upstairs. This place is all about the quality of the food.

There was a longish wait for for our food, but it was worth it as the food was excellent.

Love Otters food, coffee could be hotter. Great for breakfast.

I recently visited Jamel's Lebanese Food whilst out, and was impressed with the service by the staff. The staff were friendly, approachable and welcoming. There's a range of different Lebanese delicacies which you can choose from. The restaurant is quite cosy. There's lots of lovely art displayed, and even a mini library so you can have some food and drink whilst reading a book. It's a lovely restaurant and I recommend trying it out if you want to try something different.

Excellent pizza, and my daughter loves the lasagne so much we have one cooked and take another cold for her later in the week.

Good customer service. The lady who served us was so nice. Slim and a bit short. Looks younger. Forgotten her name. Guess it’s Sophia or something. She was very friendly and professional. Had a brief play with our baby to calm the baby down. Spoke to us politely and order was ontime. The Tibetan noodles my wife ordered was great. We got a discount card for our next visit as well. We’ll surely come again 👍🏿👍🏿

Boys weekend away and exactly what we needed. Dartboard, sports on TV, no pretentions, nice landlord, etc

I visited this pub yesterday with my family, and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was very pleasant, making it a great place to relax and enjoy. The food was absolutely delicious—especially the chicken chilli and grilled dishes, which were perfectly cooked and flavorful. The momo was also amazing, and my daughter absolutely loved it! The service was excellent too. I’ll definitely be visiting again soon with my family. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a warm ambiance!

Found this place by accident and had a delicious lunch with a huge pot of tea, the food and service were both excellent. It’s a shame we are from Norwich and unlikely to visit Oakham again soon

Was visiting the area and came across The Otters Deli, first thing i noticed was the staff, all amazingly helpful and friendly. Had several items of food and drink which was all very nice. Definitely a place to visit and i’ll certainly be heading back
