We visited Jashir today for a family lunch and to have the Thali. Absolutely fantastic. Amazing flavours and value as well as such great and attentive service. The cosmopolitan cocktail was fantastic. We cannot fault our experience today and will certainly be back. Jashir is definitely a little gem in Oakham!!!!

Went for an amazing meal here. The food and service was great and there was lots of choice on the menu. Good price and I would recommend coming here.

I had a lovely honey chilli chicken that was both sweet spicy and delicious 10/10 would recommend. The staff have been kind, friendly and attentive throught.

Tender and succulent mix grill,chilli cheese naan had a nice kick to it. Lovely facilities.

The food and service were incredible, honestly the best curry I've had in years. The place is lovely, the disgusting conversation from the people at the next table ruined it a bit, but I've given the restaurant full marks because it wasn't their fault. We'll definitely go back, and I'll recommend it to friends and family. Only went in to check out what they've done with the old place, and found our new favourite spot.

I am an indian working in the UK and I have not found indian food so authentic so far. Jashir has Absolutely amazing indian food. Highly recommend to anyone! Dont miss Dahi chat, salt and pepper paneer, biryani, mushroom pilau rice.

Out tonight with the wife and Just enjoyed a lovely meal from starter to main course at jashir Indian restaurant Oakham high st fabulous staff and great atmosphere will definitely be coming back

Ambience was good and so was decor. Service was very slow and food was a little too spicy for our taste and a couple of the items just did not taste right (at least not tot what we are accustomed). However, my main meal was perfect. Yet undecided whether I’d be back or not.

This is a lovely restaurant with high class food. I recommend it

I took my parents out for dinner and the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were super lovely and friendly. However, I felt that the atmosphere was a little flat and we received large measures of wine when we had asked for smalls and mediums so just need to be careful there. Would definitely recommend and return, thank you!

Had h ad fish madras great spice levels for me. Other in party had various meals and all enjoyed. Was not the normal take away taste. Staff were very accomodating when asking about menu and will adjust the chilli level just ask

Very poor. The quality of food leaves a lot to be desired, the service was nearly nonexistent and the tables around us were left uncleared for considerable time when people left. Avoid and go to the Sarpech instead.

Navratan Korma - genuinely the most delicious vegetarian curry I’ve ever had. The crispy bhaji were also a taste sensation! Highly recommend both. This will now be my go-to curry house. Thank you so much!

Came to this restaurant with my family last Saturday on the 6th of January in the evening when we stopped over in Oakham . Have to say we had a great dining experience. The food was excellent, we ordered karahi chicken and tawa paneer. Both dishes had a very nice flavour and tasted great and had a spicy kick to it which was very good. Only negative was that the service could have been a bit better especially as the place was busy. But overall I think this place was very good, great ambience and its definitely worth coming to again 100% for sure.

Really tasty food and good value. It was a bit cold when we got in there but they turned the heating up and it was much better. They gave a free desert to the kids which was a nice touch. Kids said very good chocolates!

Good variety of foods available, all to an amazing standard. I would recommend the chicken fried rice. Absolutely delicious. We will we back soon

We went here for a girls catch up and we really enjoyed the overall experience. Everyone was really friendly and the service was really good. The food was really nice, we had a selection of curries on our table along with a few sides and we cannot fault them. It’s one of the nicest Indian restaurant I have been to locally. Very polite, friendly hospitable service, seem to really care that you have a good experience. Food was very tasty, best Butter Chicken I have ever had. We all have or favourite restaurants which may be somebody else’s least favourite, all 4 of use enjoyed out meals very much. Just one thing to be aware of, the rice was spicy were normally it would not be in my experience but as a none spice eater, this was not so hot as to hide the depth of flavour of the main dish. Very nice, definitely recommend as visit.

As a visitor to Oakham this weekend, we decided to pop into this restaurant from a tired day of walking. What an absolutely amazing place. The decor is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Wow! The food was amazing too. One of the best pathias I have had in ages. The service was outstanding. If your in Oakham you need to visit this gem of a place.
