The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Oakham North East Rutland East Midlands

Really enjoyed our Hitchens Barn lunch experience. Very accommodating of the toddler in our group, really good service and above all the food ( souffle, scotch eggs, soup, fish dishes and one meat course) was beautifully presented and tasted really good. Special mention for the 3 course set menu that one person had which was specially good value. Only downside is need to put plenty of time aside on Saturday for parking.. which I didn't so was late.

We came for Sunday lunch and it was a really lovely afternoon. Excellent food and lovely service. Desserts were delicious. We went back for dinner and had delicious starters, steaks and burgers. Again really good service. We loved it. What a fabulous addition to Oakham!
