The best restaurants in Nottingham East Midlands

Visited for the first time tonight. Fabulous food and service, will definitely be returning…

We arrived a bit early for the table we booked, it was near the toilets, so we moved, my wife went to the bar to get drinks and order food, then we waited,and waited, 40 minutes no sign, then someone bought knives and forks, 10 minutes later my wife went back to the bad and said 5 more minutes and we want our money back, then the food arrived, it was nice hot. But after waiting for nearly a hour NOT good, I understand the bar filled up very quickly and drinks are ware they make BIG profits, but if you haven’t got the staff to get food out quickly don’t serve it. Although it was good we will not return.

This lady has taken on a tattoo that someone else started on me and as unfortunately closed down,but penny lane as taken it in her stride and done a amazing job at finishing it 👏. The details in the tattoo that she has done is absolutely stunning 😍, i would definitely recommend for a fine detail tattooist and will definitely be back 👌

Easily the best Chinese in Nottingham. Forever consistent. Delivery driver is a gentleman as well. Keep it up.

Good food but terrible service, I won't go back as there are other places that are much more friendly

Served me a sausage roll of the floor, I was too flabbergasted to say anything so I called them while I walked away, to be told that none of there staff would do that, I'm not the one to cause a big deal over a £1.20 sausage roll but that was my breakfast and lunch. I would've just appreciated some honesty and maybe ask the staff who I mentioned served me instead of being in straight denial and defensive right of the bat....I'm hungry :(

So, the drinks were nice, my friends got shisha, I didn't and they said it's nice as well. However, why the one star? Because if you enter this you are greeted with not only very rude people, but they take your ID and photograph it on the laptop. I get that they serve alcohol and they need to check for ID, check, but don't take a photo of it! This has always been a concern for me and my friends. So, my genuine advice for Hukka lounge: just do some training for your staff to be less rude and more professional, and make sure whoever is at the door to only check and not to take a photo of any IDs. Otherwise the place is good. Thanks

Just left this lovely little restaurant. First night back open so very quiet. My husband and I both had boneless jerk chicken, rice n peas, slaw and festival. Food comes in sharing portions. Small but so very tasty. Also very filling. I really recommend a visit. The staff are so lovely and friendly. Thank you Mae and team xxx

The place is absolutely gabbage please stay away. The food is not worth eating. Meat is chewy and tasteless. The balls is rock hard

The chicken tikka panini was delicious and quite different to any other taste I have tried before. We also had ice cream - a unique selection of flavours. I recommend the paan masala and biscoff ones but they have a good variety including hubba bubba! Pricing was reasonable and competitive too. Nice calm lighting as well which was relaxing and helped by the fact that I wasn't being deafened by loud music. We were served by the owner and he was a really nice guy. Ordered 1 x 14" pizza & 1 10" pizza & potato surprise. Order took a hour & half to be delivered. Fair enough, it's busy, don't mind the wait for a good quality pizza...well that's not what we got. Both pizza were over cooked with the crusts completely black. Not what you expect for £33. We should of complained and asked for the pizzas to be redone/ delivered but the thought of another hour & half wait, we just cut the burnt crusts off and ate what we could before binning the rest. Won't be ordering again from Prima pizza!!
