dark haired female barista was so dismissive and rude towards me and my friends when we went this morning kept looking at me as if i was stupid because i asked her if she could take cheese off of something, she didn’t do it made it seem like it was an impossible task made me feel very unwelcome go to the other 200 degrees they’re much nicer in there!

Delicious coffee, blended to perfection! The table service adds to a brilliant experience! Thank you!

The course we did in Leeds was good but despite advertising that they do a latte art demo the tutor said we have to pay for a separate course for this. That’s not true and apparently was a lie based on the fact they didn’t have time. I’d be warned it’s not exactly what’s advertised. I would have been ok with it if they’d offered another course but instead they said to pop in for a quick demo which isn’t realistic when you travelled over an hour to attend. Instead we got a £10 voucher, £5 each from an expensive course that didn’t deliver what was promised. Disappointing given the cost and what otherwise was enjoyable. Be warned you may not get what you pay for on this course!

Always an excellent coffee from this independent coffee roasters/coffee house. I actually came here to attend a beginner barista class which was also really enjoyable for anyone wanting to know a bit more and learn how to make a delicious brew at home or begin training for a career.

Beautiful coffee shop in the heart of Nottingham. Coffee was amazing best I've tasted in a coffee shop in a long time. Decor was nice and staff were amazing and friendly.

My go-to coffee place in Nottingham

Went in on Sunday. Shop was significantly understaffed. Ordered a couple of coffees and wasn’t given any indication of just how long we would have to wait. I’ve got sympathy for anybody who is working in a busy cafe and there is only 2 of them working and they are busy. However that sympathy ends when the staff are often to be seen by all customers to be messing about and should a customer have the audacity to then complain as they walk away the staff. An he seen and heard slagging them off. We waited 24 minutes before having enough and asking for a refund. To be met with more attitude and told “I’m pretty sure I told you and everyone it’s 25 minutes for coffee” 1. Nobody should be waiting 25 minutes for a coffee 2. He never mentioned any timeframe. 3. The whole attitude from all staff was terrible. I would say I wont visit again but clearly customer opinion means absolutely nothing to you based on your service levels

First time visiting after a recommendation, was awful! First of all I was watched struggling with my buggy to get inside and down the stairs with no offer of help. Ordered my drink and was asked if it was for drinking in or take away, I said to drink in and was told ‘we don’t have any tables’ as I needed to feed the baby I said I would wait. Within seconds I saw 5/6 empty tables, so unsure if they just didn’t want us in there. We had the same struggle with the buggy on the way out and another customer ended up helping me. After all that, the drink was average.

went to 200° yesterday evening, 12/01, baristas were so lovely and helpful, very fast and gave great recommendations. staff are always lovely every time i come, and the coffee is amazing. very careful with milks and alternatives, too!

What an amazing coffee shop. The building is from 1487 that's hundreds of years old. What a vibe. Please visit if in Nottingham. The coffee is amazing as well. The service excellent. Friendly staff. Clean. So many options for drinks. I didn't eat any food. However plenty of options to indulge in. Overall a must visit coffee shop when in Nottingham. It's in the city centre and well connected by transport.

SERVICE- Very busy so you can expect some wait (5-10min), Happy Friendly Staff that are Attemtive and make you feel Welcome . ATMOSPHERE- Warm, Cosy and Homley vibe, Lots of seating + Seating outside (Ashtrays so your allowed to smoke)

Seen a real down turn in 200 degrees in the last few months. Two staff on with the shop open meaning a regular 20min wait for a coffee. Ridiculous to the level where I have cleared tables as the place looks such a mess. Not the staffs fault but need management staffing it better! Used to only go here but now looking for other coffee shops as it’s now so bad.

Lovely coffee, awful customer service. It’s not the first time either. Toasted tea cake, hardly, and I didn’t dare ask for it to be put back through. No one smiles, no manners and no sorry for the 15 minute wait.

I ordered a chicken chorizo's sandwich and since then i have an addiction. The atmosphere was a good 8/10. I liked the fact that there are barista training sessions upstairs and overall i was looking around the place as the interior seemed cool! Food was top, atmosphere top!

Can't fault the coffee shop although had a bit of a hick up about a month ago where the card reader didn't seem to be working at all but would take my payment 2x without it going through to the other end. Was told to come back if the payment doesn't bounce to get a refund - which it did not. Went back to claim my refund and was given 5 free drinks instead as it was too far in their system to retrieve. Which to be fair worked out better than a refund so very happy with the outcome

Amazing coffee! Worth coming over again.

Coffee was awful. I ordered a pour over coffee (they refer to it as a v60) and genuinely thought it was disgusting. Maybe it was the Barista not making it properly but doesn’t change the end result.

The coffee and cakes were nice, delicious lemon and pistachio blondie, but the staff are not great. I was told coffee would be a 10 minute wait which I didn't mind then after 20 mins I came to say where's the coffee and was reprimanded by the waitress and manager saying we told you it would be 10 mins and then it eventually came with no apology for its lateness. Very poor understanding of customer service

Ok. Very much enjoyed the light and fluffy bagels. Why are normal bagels so dense? The ones they used on my sandwich here are so much better!

Terrible service, when paying for our coffee, we asked the staff member (brown guy that works on Sundays just before the shop closes) to split our bills, and he was acting like it takes a lot of effort to do it, and was giving attitude

the ginger-haired staff member should get fired he does not have anything to do with customer service he is so rude at this point just quit if you can’t handle customer’s complains

I have been to these coffee shops numerous times and my favourite chain for a coffee and sandwich or cake. Was pleasantly surprised that there were available tables. The main annoyance with this branch (and the one near Victoria Centre) is that there is normally nowhere to sit as half the tables are taken up by students making the most of the free WiFi and heating, eaking out a cup of coffee for a few hours with free tap water.

Great coffee with amazing service, you feel really appreciated and the place has a lovely feel about it. Also the toilets are spotless which really is a rare find these days, top class place.

Love the beans hate the coffee shop. The coffee shop is dark and dingy, occupied by mainly students who take the piss with their laptops open, nursing a 2 hour old coffee they bought when they arrived and set up for the day. The staff are also mainly students, so it’s no surprise who gets the best treatment, pensioners like me are often pushed down the queue whilst waiting for their prepaid coffee to be made. There is not an ounce of customer service, it’s a production line, and one that isn’t managed very effectively, if any of the staff deign to pass the time of day I am truly shocked. I made my last visit today, i left my complimentary latte having bought a kilo of beans and waited for ages for it to be made. I will still buy the beans for my own coffee machine at home but I will no longer be treated like a number in line. Thanks.

Overpriced, rude, snooty staff, bitter coffee, poor delivery, card only, £2.75 for a terrible espresso, not even in an espresso cup. Awful.

One amazing member of staff he has pink hair and is always amazing and serves with a bright lovely smile the other lad is one of the most miserable unhappy people I’ve ever been served by he never smiles and is quite rude to be honest there are people who don’t speak to any one all day long and expect to be treated with at the very least a smile when they are paying for coffee

12 min wait for a coffee and only 8 people in .

Ordered a too good to go bag which consisted of a morning roll and a croissant which were both lovely. The real selling point was the lovely waitress giving me a free iced drink when I later went back up to order! Not only was the drink delicious but it was a lovely random act of kindness! 💓☕️ Highly reccomend the chai latte!

I ordered the wrong drink and didn’t realise until tasting it. the staff were super helpful and understanding. i got a fresh drink made for me even though it was my mistake!! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE STAFF!!

Ligi was super friendly and professional. Even let me go wild and have a super spice cinnamon mocha. Overall Great service, they are an asset to your business. Mocha was also great too.

The coffee and food were fine but the young man who served me needed to learn some customer skills. I asked if I could have a sandwich without the onions (due to a dietary problem) and he gruffly said 'no'. I found him unhelpful and impolite. However other staff were fine

We've been many times before and never been disappointed. This time we were disappointed that there was no aeropress or pour over... The thing that made 200 degrees different from other coffee shops. The coffee was good but not exceptional. The muffin and brownie were delicious.

Unfortunately, as a regular, I experienced poor service from a staff member unexpectedly because I asked for a top-up of hot milk on a takeaway cappuccino served unevenly to the other two I had ordered. I don't believe this is asking much especially when I observed she only had two order tickets behind mine and the cafe was not busy. As an ex-barista I empathise with the demands of hospitality. However, I left feeling confused after having to ask twice for a milk top-up because I mistakenly thought I was not heard the first time due to no response from the Barista; when I asked the second time round, I got an abrupt response," you will have to wait for the milk.". as I left, I said " Thank you, have a lovely day" I got stared at blankly... this again was an unpleasant to experience. I must say, for the most part, I do receive great service, even from this particular barista, so I am greatly confused as to why I received such poor service today.

Coffee is perfect but service not so always

Early on a Sunday, No queuing customers. Ordered coffee from the table however the app would not allow pastries to be ordered (greyed out). Went to the counter to buy a pastry. There were no customers. The assistant behind the counter without acknowledging me or indicating he would be with me soon spent in excess of 5 minutes restocking right in front of me completely ignoring me. I eventually sat down without buying anything to be greeted by a cappuccino that was sickly sweet. It had been over dosed with whatever sugar laden powder is dusted on it. Undrinkable. By this time there was a queue at the counter so it would have taken an age to bring my issue to the barista. Decided to leave the coffee. I will think twice about going back.

The coffee and the atmosphere is amazing, the customer service is also okay, the only problem is sometimes I can't find a place to sit as that's the sign of a good place I guess. keep it up guys we Love you.

Former pub converted to a coffee house great coffee & staff with a lovely ambiance. Will call again soon. Very handy for the tram and city centre attractions. Recommended 😊

The chicken gyro is absolutely delicious! If you're in the mood for a light lunch, this is definitely what I would suggest for you.

Delicious coffee and delicious pistachio cream cookies! Not all the staff was friendly, though. Maybe she was having a bad day she didn't look like she was enjoying her job when she served us our coffee to the table.. We ended up mixing the coffees because she wasn't clear enough.

I would love to say thank you for our lovely manger Basia for being so kind ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟. She works by heart to make 200 degrees such a wonderful place and the best in Nottingham. She honestly deserves to be named a professional manager and a unique coffee maker.

I have come to this cafe more than once i am a customer but the service there is really not good i had a bad experience with one of the staff her name is Kate she is wearing glasses she is not respecting the customer and she behaved with the customers badly not just me even my friends they went there and had the same treatment I just want to say this cafe will lose a lot of customers because of her attitude

I'm genuinely gutted to be writing this. The decline of this branch over the past 12 months is too much to ignore. It's gone from the best of all of the 200 degrees locations, to somewhere now avoid until it's found its feet again. Yesterday was tipping point. I can understand waiting time for drinks and food, even have patience for the app not marking food/cakes as out of stock...usually a staff member asks what I'd like to swap it for in Bridgford, Derby or the other locations. It gets busy and that's fine, I've never taken issue those things. The issue is... service has dropped off and strange decisions are destroying the atmosphere. I don't know if it's lack of onsite management or general complacency. Yesterday was just weird in there and it's been building up over the past 12 months, you just can't relax and enjoy the atmosphere in there anymore. -Barista saying 'don't mean to sound like a bitch but it's true' to the customer in front is pretty jarring, whatever the context is. -All coffees being served in paper takeout cups. There's normal cups on display, I'm there for the experience yet I'm drinking from a paper cup (order through the app to the table) -Food didn't turn up for over 20 mins despite coffees arriving. Queued up to mention it (politely), person on the till was great and apologised but the barista kept butting in and stating that I mustn't have order them. I already had my phone out ready to show the order confirmation email. It was weird and rude, just take a breath and check the order, don't interrupt your colleague, it was obvious it made her feel awkward. The person serving checked the order, saw the food hadn't been delivered, when they pointed it out to the barista, they shrugged. -This next one is going to sound stupid and the response is going to be 'it gets loud and we need to get orders out'... but the volume and obvious annoyance when the yelling of orders was insane. If you need staff to yell that loudly, you need to implement a better system. It's destroying any experience you're trying to establish. Derby, Bridgford and the location near the train station are great, still have the cosy atmosphere and great coffee. Whatever is happening at this one... The standards have slipped so noticeably that I'm going to genuinely avoid until someone i know tells me it's back to being decent.

Very busy , but nice and warm on this freezing cold day, nice lemon drizzle cake and great mocha.

Two days ago, I stopped by the shop to grab a coffee. A blonde woman was behind the counter, preparing my coffee. When she placed a takeaway cup down, I glanced over, wondering if it was mine, since I had been waiting for a while. Instead of politely telling me it wasn't mine, she rudely remarked, "I'll shout out your coffee if it's yours." I was taken aback by her attitude. She then proceeded to make my coffee, but unfortunately, she messed it up. Consequently, I had to wait even longer for her to correct it. The following day, I returned for another coffee. The same woman was working, and it seemed like she remembered me. Despite there being no queue for takeaway orders, I had to wait 15 minutes for a single latte. It felt like a joke until I noticed the woman casually texting and making calls on her phone while I waited impatiently for my coffee. I was utterly shocked by her behaviour. It seemed like she was doing it out of pettiness. Although I enjoy the coffee at this shop, I refuse to return as long as that woman with the unpleasant attitude continues to work there.

Excellent coffee. A real Nottingham success story. Great outlet in a fantastic building. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Great place for meetings or to get a caffeine boost.

Always great. The stollen pastries were fantastic. Coffee tastes great and always does but is often a bit cool, which means it disappears in seconds!

Great atmosphere and a swell place to warm up after visiting the Christmas market and rink area, the coffee was alright, I had a Mocha that whilst tasty was not foamed particularly well (quite watery), not upset though as I am also a barista and sometimes just happens especially using chocolate flakes! The house espresso was quite pleasant too! Having alternative milks be free is incredibly appreciated too, would definitely recommend :)

coffee is pretty consistently good , quite like the service and the staff. The space is nice. my only issues with it is usually it's too warm the music being way too loud. can't really hear anyone I'm speaking to

A bit to loud but it’s okay, coffee was burnt I don’t think it was on purpose but it was not a great experience to drink. I like the table service element if you have the app, had a lack of savoury options if you have dairy or egg intolerance. So 4/10 for that element. Some of the staff are very friendly some of them are not, but you can’t expect everyone to be very happy if your job is to repeat tasks over and over. So overall, great service, slightly burnt coffee and a little to loud, (come at a quieter time)

Awesome flat whites but often rammed and service hit and miss because of that - was told this week there was a 10 minute wait for an espresso.. not very espresso then. Staff are friendly but it's a victim of its own success. Cakes and treats are very average.
