Beautiful looking restaurant. Great choice of gluten free food...the Thai chicken curry was lovely.

The butcher’s brunch was excellent, a generous portion and everything cooked to perfection. It’s a cool space too

Just had breakfast here. Was lovely. Update. Just visited for a special occasion and having read the breakfast menu that states breakfast cocktails we order. Unfortunately we were told we couldn't have the alcohol until 10 am. This wasn't highlighted on the menus. Dissappinted

Service was very slow, place not busy, but staff chatting and not paying attention to customer. Food was appalling, inedible vegan burger had by 2 of our party, was so overcooked and hard it was impossible to bite. Staff apologised and removed 1 burger from the bill. This was not the standard of care I expected from Cosy Club, I would certainly never go to this place again.

Had 3 small plates; croquettes, Asian chicken, arrenchini. All were lovely and great presentation. Chicken was slightly dry and could’ve been coated in more sauce. Mains; linguine & cosy smash burger. Pasta was good portion size with generous prawn and cod chunks, could’ve been helpful with a spoon. Smash burger was really yum however the dipping gravy became really cold quickly and was unique for a burger dish. Service was excellent, really quick and lovely atmosphere. Prebooked online with restaurant dining was easy. Recommend !

Went for bottomless brunch on a busy Bank Holiday Sunday. The place looks amazing, our server (for a group of 11) was so kind and the drink selection was fantastic too. Prosecco was served straight away, so we could really enjoy our 90 minutes, but we weren't rushed at all. The food was okay, probably just not my kind and the tastes were a bit bland, but the presentation and speed to serve the food was very good. Overall a lovely experience, highly recommended.

Wonderful setting, food and service

Fantastic building so full marks for retaining all the atmosphere of the old Victoria Club. We’d had breakfast here a year or so ago and it was good so booked today. Positives - staff really excellent. Negatives - sooo many lights it was like the runway at East Midlands Airport and the ‘background’ music was very loud. Not a great atmosphere for a laidback Bank Holiday breakfast. The food was nothing more than average. Rather mean portions. My daughter’s portion of smoked salmon was ridiculously tiny but the lovely waitress did bring her a little more. It was just underwhelming and I don’t think we’ll bother going back. It worked out, with a coffee each and service charge, at around £20 a head. I expect more for that.Such a pity.

We came to Cosy Club to celebrate a friends 50th birthday. She booked the restaurant and I phoned after to explain it was a 50th, they said they’d give her a glass of fizz on arrival and if we ordered a dessert, they would put a candle in it. When we arrived (8.30) the staff were very attentive and wanted to know about allergies and checked on ingredients in various items. A glass of fizz didn’t arrive and we forgot to ask. The meal was fine, no complaints from anyone. We got towards 10.15pm and the staff became a lot less attentive and we had to get their attention to order desserts, by which point they told us the kitchen was closed and we couldn’t have any. At no point did they come over to us to let us know and ask if we’d like to order before the kitchen closes. They then agreed to doing dessert, when I tried to order the apple pie, I was told that they couldn’t do that one but they did eventually they agreed to make it. When they came there was still no candle for the birthday girl, slightly disappointing. The evening was spoiled by the obvious desire that the staff wanted to go home, we would have been quicker if we’d been offered dessert earlier. When we came in we were told we had to table until 11. It’s such a shame that they let themselves down in this way.

I first gave this place 2 stars several years ago and was asked to review it once it reopened. So here goes... Haven't visited this place in a while but daughter wanted to go there so what can you do? We booked a reservation were told to be seated in any of the bars so we sat in the gin bar and were forgotten about. We waited for 25 minutes and no one came to take our order so we left. Thank you they said when we left? What for? For forgetting we were even there ? An old woman even came in with and drink and we were sat there with none should we have been given instructions to order our own at the bar? Who knows as we aren't mind readers. Place is full of gawkers people who have no conversations so sit there gawking. Wasn't aware we are exhibits. We won't return especially after reading about the food poisoning.

I have been to many cosy clubs and they're all pretty but I have got to say, this one was beautiful! Staff were lovely and helpful too. Food as always was very nice. Always a safe place to go for lunch if you're not sure where to go. Will definitely go back :)

An absolutely beautiful venue in Nottingham city centre. The food and drink selection is varied with many vegan and gluten free options available. The food and drinks arrive well presented and always taste great. Cosy Club is a great place to stop for any meal, or a quick drink, whilst taking in a beautiful, period building.

Booked a table on line in the restaurant but when we got there we were told we had to sit in the bar area as we had bought our dog.This in no way spoilt our experience, the bar area retained the glamour of the original building. We had a lovely table, the staff were attentive and polite.Great vegan and drinks menu. Oppulent interior, sat for a couple of hours and enjoyed the whole experience.

No hay quejas como fue 2. 4 . 1 (Tenga en cuenta que como es gran valor - £ 13. 50 domingos - viernes de 16 a 21 horas), pero pregunté por qué no usaban piel de naranja fresca. El barman subió al restaurante y amablemente lo incluyó en mi próxima bebida, lo que hizo toda la diferencia. ¡Gracias! Volvimos al día siguiente (esta vez por la noche) y nos dieron un capricho con música en vivo de una joven con acompañamiento de teclado. Absolutamente excelentes melodías de baile! Gran voz y grandes teclados. Bien hecho Cosy Club en ambos frentes.

Such a lovely building. Fantastic decor and friendly staff but very disappointed with the brunch. Very overpriced, very small servings and lukewarm. I had garden brunch and it was pretty awful. One small veggie sausage which was not heated up properly and was mushy and not good at all. Really not a contender with all the other great options available in Nottingham.

We went there on a Thursday afternoon and it was quite chill. We were easily seated. The menu is satisfying, everything we tried was great and carefully prepared. We really like the cod with caper butter. Prices are fair. Walking in you rightfully think that the star of the show is the beautiful decor, however this place also offers some great and honest food!

Nice food but small portions and lacking real finesse. Good service and pleasant surroundings, but generally felt like they are trying too hard and lacking soul. Style over substance. Our waitress was lovely. 🇺🇦

14 out of 25 members of our party got food poisoning from the buttermilk chicken! Be warned! So, we recently had our wedding reception here but have also eaten here prior to this. General restaurant (1st floor) is lovely, high ceilings with glass chandeliers and great service. Bar area is on the ground floor and a lovely open space. Events: We held our wedding reception at the cosy club (meal and then evening). Overall, it was perfect! Starting with a really reasonable pricing point for what we wanted and they offered us lots of options to keep the cost as low or high as we wanted. We opted for bacon cobs and fries in the evening which they were more than happy to accommodate. The meal was lovely, we chose on the day from the party menu (again, lots of menu options but we preferred this menu from them all). It was 2-1 cocktails when we arrived, so everyone was naturally straight on this...this did cause some delays in service. My biggest concern through the whole process was communication. Getting in touch with the event planner was extremely hard, emails and no answers. On our actual wedding day it didn't seem like anything that we discussed in the final meeting was then given to staff to work from. Communication definitely needs to be better.

A great place for food and drink, in really special surroundings. A lovely atmosphere, combined with spacious tables and comfortable seats. The original features of the building are still visible all around. Menu choices are plentiful and the food was delicious. Plenty of drink options, including non-alcoholic as well. Service was attentive and responsive, with food arriving quickly. Overall, highly recommended if you're feeling hungry in Nottingham!

Absolutely beautiful building and decor. The food came out really quickly and was delicious. I had the flat iron steak medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. The sauvignon blanc was lovely too (if not a bit pricey) at £40.10. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back.

Lunch on a Sunday. We booked in advance, good job we did it was packed with good reason! Lovely menu, good attentive, efficient staff. The building architecturally incredible and has a very interesting back story. Well worth a visit.

Amazing Birthday Brunch Experience! Had the most incredible time at Costy Club for a birthday brunch! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our visit special—even though we didn’t have a booking, they were so accommodating. Our waiter, Nathan, was an absolute star—funny, kind, and incredibly attentive. They made us feel welcome, kept the energy high, and added to the fun of the celebration. The whole team was fantastic, ensuring everything was perfect. Very affordable. Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere—would definitely come again! Highly recommend for any occasion.

Sadly, the venue did not fulfil my expectations based upon numerous past visits. The food,drink and service was very good - no problem there apart from a bit pricey and the automatic inclusion of a service charge which rankles. My problem was simply the music. This is supposed to be in the background, but it was far too loud and of dubious taste. Having a medical problem that is exacerbated by this is uncomfortable. My comments to Front of House were attended to less than satisfactorily. After leaving we visited the nearby Wetherspoons for a music free drink and dessert. Sadly I will not return.

Overpriced food, slow service. They are clearly cutting costs everywhere they can with small portions and "special" drinks that are cheap flavoured syrups in soda water for £5. The staff are excellent at their job but clearly the place is understaffed, again to cut costs Not recommended.

Always a lovely atmosphere in Cosy Club, largely contributed to by the decor. The staff’s attire added to the experience! The food was really tasty, particularly the tomatos and mushroom on my Vegan breakfast were the best I’ve ever tasted! Gluten Free options available.

We celebrated our wedding at The Cosy Club, Nottingham, and it was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the decorations were beautifully arranged, and the food was a hit with all our guests. The staff went above and beyond to make the day special—a huge thank you to Hana for organising everything so smoothly and to Mauricio for his fantastic bartending and for going the extra mile to be there for our event. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a more dedicated team. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

A stunning 1870s era private club with a number of well preserved bar and dining rooms. Being here really takes you back to the old hey days of yore! We ordered a veggie burger and some small plates that were delicious! Staff are very butlery and the bottomless brunch drinks were great! We loved exploring all the different lavish rooms and fittings!

Cosy Club Nottingham is a fantastic spot with a truly stunning setting—the beautifully restored Victorian casino adds so much character to the place. The cocktail selection is excellent, with plenty of creative and well-made options to choose from. Service was friendly and attentive, and the cosy atmosphere, good music, and comfortable seating made it a great place to relax and enjoy the evening. Highly recommend for drinks and a great vibe!

When somebody recommended this place too me I was expecting big things especially with Notts having so many amazing cafes but it fell short for me. Prices seemed very steep for what you got, I ordered the yoghurt bowl and it was a “splash” of yoghurt, a “dot” of sauce and a “sprinkle” granola meaning the only thing you really tasted was yoghurt. Paid £7.25 and would guess that it would have cost £1 to make. Only positive was the staff who were really nice and hospitable but safe to say I won’t be returning any time soon

Had our one year anniversary at cosy club on Victoria st today and couldn’t be happier! Our sever Rafael was incredibly! Very well mannered and seemed to take an interest in our life and experience. Due to his hospitality, I’d recommend cosy club to anyone looking for a welcoming and warm place to eat!

We booked here as we have enjoyed before and it was a special occasion as it was my daughter's 18th. I feel that the table service was not up to scratch at all. Once we had ordered we were just left to it and we had drunk our drinks plus the water on the table and no one collected any empty glasses or asked if we would like more. When our food was served we didn't even get the opportunity to ask as the server was so quick. The food wasn't great, no one checked on us or collected our plates for a while. We asked for the bill and I expressed how disappointed we were with the food and service and she just walked away whilst I was still speaking and no one else came, very rude. The entire time we were there, not one member of staff wished my daughter a happy birthday, she was wearing a sash so it was very obvious. Absolutely disappointed with the whole experience, will not be back and will not recommend!

If you bring your fur fur baby to go with you, you only can sit in the bar area which called Casino. Actually I loved the atmosphere and food there, I can enjoy my chill time there with food and drinks, it makes me surprised where the food had more choice, special , and delicious!

We recently got married and had our evening party at Cosy Club in Nottingham. The building is fabulous & we knew we’d found our venue. Everything was set up exactly how we wanted it. The staff were fantastic, attentive & v accommodating both on the night and in organising and leading up to the day. They created a welcoming atmosphere and were obliging throughout. The food was delicious and there was plenty for our guests. We would highly recommend this as a wedding venue.

So underwhelming. TBH staff, setting and ambience was all very pleasant but the food is such a massive let down. Burnt pancakes aren’t the one and neither is yogurt and granola with about 6 pieces of granola. I’m actually still sat at my table so no idea what this is going to cost but I bet it’s not far off what I could’ve spent in the ritz 🤞 btw this is my first ever review, that’s how gutted I am. Nothing worse than waking up hungry and eating a proper rubbish breakfast. Well I hope I get hungry again soon so I can eat a decent bit of grub. Anyway sun is shining and the caffeine is kicking in so have a great day x

We love this place to have drinks and food with friends. However on this occasion we found the servers quite sour faced and as you do ask about the cocktails our questions were not received very well. It’s a shame as we brought 4 first timers. We did leave a tip as they were kept busy but our other tip for them would be lighten up a bit and smile its all part of the experience

YUMMY Vegetarian breakfast was delicious and they have ICED STRAWBERRY MATCHA LATTE🍓🍵!! NEVER take this off the menu!!! It was too busy to sit upstairs but we were able to get bar service and sit downstairs, even though they were busy our food still came out in a good amount of time! Thankyou💖

Vegan brunch, very minimalistic. One sausage a few tomatoes a blip of peas and a ‘flag’ plus minimal anything else. A rather large rip off. Drinks took over thirty minutes to arrive and not pre the meal. I felt rather ripped off.

I go here often. A beautiful place that's good for food and/or drink. Atmosphere is perfect and doesn't attract people who can spoil the atmosphere in other places. Don't expect it to be cheap, but you get what you pay for. Bar very well staffed and attentive service. Good selection of food and drink. I've been to other branches, this one is by far the best. Give it a try!

I cannot praise the brilliant staff here enough. After a booking mixup of my own doing for a large party, they went above and beyond to make sure THE DAY PRIOR that we were accommodated and well looked after. Pulling in extra staff, shuffling things around in their busiest season - exemplary customer service!

Beautiful interior. Stylish and classy. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is good and the prices are fair. The only thing letting it down are the bathroom facilities, which could do with upgrading to match the standard of the rest of the building and to prevent the over powering smell of urine lingering in the main entrance staircase leading up to the dining experience 🤢

The Cosy Club is fast becoming a family tradition on Boxing Day and this year was no exception. We all love this restaurant. With its beautiful interior, the staff (one lovely waiter remembered us from last year!) are exceptional and the food is lovely with good choices for all ages. We ranged from 9 - 76.

What a lovely building and atmosphere, staff were great, good choice on the menu for a family couldn't fault it.

Had a great evening meal here. The building and atmosphere of the place provided great surroundings to eat. The service was some of the best we have ever experienced, very attentive without being intrusive. For the meal itself we had the festive pie which was delicious, so many flavours going on. It was our first visit but won’t be our last.

I really like those place. It's earned it's name, The Cost Club which it's is. Great atmosphere and l highly recommend it. I have never been disappointed with the food and it's a great place with options to where you can go. Upstairs or downstairs.

Had a lovely Christmas meal there last night, I had the Christmas pie. The service was excellent our waiter was very professional, friendly and efficient, the food was just right, all in a lovely setting. Pres in the bar downstairs also good, helpful bar staff. We had a great evening, thanks to all your staff.

Everything is amazing but the most beautiful part has to be how they present starter plates and deserts.

What a lovely, fun place, the service, food and drinks were great. Staff very clued up with coeliac disease and cross contamination, it's so lovely to be told about the processes in the kitchen before having to ask and feel like a pain. Thank you for a super meal (fear free) and a perfectly cooked steak.

Went as part of a group of seven for the three course Christmas menu. Very slow service, we waited well over half an hour for our first course to arrive, which was quite concerning as we had been told at the time of booking that we only had the table for an hour and a half! The sharing platter starter was a surprise, as we had each chosen our starter from the menu before we arrived, only to find there wasn't a choice, just the platter to share !! The food was hot and tasty, just a bit underwhelming.

I attended a works Christmas meal on a Friday evening and have to say, we were very well looked after. The service was very good, the food was excellent and the room and its surroundings were really nice and 'cosy'. The building is beautiful, and all the interior furniture, bars, toilets etc. look authentic, and you kind of feel you've gone back in time.
