Always a good visit and a great starting place for that Nottingham pub experience 😉. Great food and VERY welcoming staff.

Lovely service, amazing staff and drink

Hands down the closest you can get to feeling like you are in Japan in Nottingham. Excellent food, atmosphere and a great selection of drinks. The level of service is top notch and the staff lovely. The food was all freshly cooked and presented to you in moments from when it had just left the heat. Each dish was great in its own right. Though, the special chicken wings with the sesame were perfection and we ended up ordering another. The execution of each item is impeccable and without a better term, not trying too hard. Just extremely tasty food presented well. A small touch is they keep the glasses for drinks in the fridge, subtle but appreciated. I would highly - highly recommend this restaurant if you've been to Japan and want to reminisce or if you generally enjoy eating food. I'd also recommend sitting at the counter if you are on a date or as a pair as it adds to the atmosphere.

Good food and drink at reasonable prices - can’t go wrong. Pleasant staff who are quick to service you and a nice spot to sit outside and watch the world along a lovely stretch of the river walk.

Wow, the food is amazing, the service outstanding and we felt like we were the only customers in a full restaurant. I would travel an hour from my home to eat here again!

Los empleados son tan encantadores, y puedo ver que pueden construir relaciones con los clientes; también muy respetuosos, están encantados de charlar con usted, pero no forzará la conversación sobre usted o cortar en su espacio. Interior es un espacio divertido, con varias piezas de arte alrededor, y vi algunos juegos que se podían llevar a su mesa y jugar con (aunque no lo hice esta vez). Se siente un espacio cómodo para hacer algún trabajo en una computadora portátil, o sentarse y leer un libro, o estaba allí charlando con un amigo. No me sentí hacinado - tenía espacio para hablar, y podíamos escucharnos. Preciosa selección de bebidas frías, así como calientes, y los pasteles que se ofrecen se ven encantadores (tamaños bastante grandes también). (Esta vez no comí nada, pero en el pasado he tenido un tazón de acai aquí, que era muy llenito y delicioso; tanto mi amigo como yo cuando tuvimos estos disfrutamos). Esto se siente como una pequeña joya escondida, a la que disfruto volviendo, y se siente como si hubiera descubierto un lugar encantador en Nottingham para mostrar a mis amigos! Yo recomendaría si usted está buscando un lugar tranquilo para charlar, o tener un poco de tiempo fuera, y ya sea disfrutar de una bebida o algo de comida, de la que hay una, no extensa, pero suficiente con buena elección (opciones veganas también) , y emocionante en lo que hay, selección.

Desayuno de prueba con amigos. Las comidas y el servicio eran brillantes. Lástima que la prueba terminada el sábado de lo contrario habría regresado el domingo.

Our second time visiting, the food was amazing, the drinks paired with each course was exceptional, along with the staff who explained everything throughout our dining experience. An exceptional restaurant with friendly, knowledgeable staff and a creative, talented chef.

Really friendly and service is very fast

The only reason for giving three stars is because of how unreasonably they charge £6 for an affogato and all it was a simple wee little cup with a scoop of gelato. I mean for the price i paid i was expecting atleast a good portion. Apart from that exceptional quality of espresso and gelato and the service and atmosphere were genuinely lovely. The only thing that bothered me was the price. I mean come on 6 quids for that, thats unfair.

Arrived on a Friday evening, waited a few minutes for a table. Service was quick and organised. The two dishes I ordered were amazing and authentic. Sadly, I just knew of this place and it is about to end its business the following weekend.

I went to Subway next door at 7pm but they were take away only. So...as luck would have it I just love all things Japan and eating with chopsticks, so glad to have stumbled upon this. Don't be intimidated by menu options, they're all numbered, so it's a very easy ordering process and I'm sure you can use a fork if that's your preference.

Me gusta el café de bajo costo. Café Goid y mi sueño rosado favorito actual. . . remolacha hummus nuez y avanzada. Abajo el patio histórico duele. . dar un paseo.

Fine food and good service by trainees. Excellent value

Tengo el bizcocho de mango, se veía bonito pero la esponja estaba empapada, sabía como si hubieran empapado la esponja en agua tristemente. Parte del personal es un poco grosero.
