Wonder Pho in Nottingham

Great food, good vegetarian/vegan choices. The service was friendly and rapid, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Good prices, not too expensive but not cheap either. My fiancee and I had a memorable experience, highly recommended.

Came upon this by chance for lunch with my daughter and so glad we did Can’t fault it. Delicious Vietnamese food fresh and tasty. Good friendly service and fairly priced Will definitely return

We recently dined at this Vietnamese restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The noodle soup was absolutely delicious—rich in flavor yet light, not greasy at all. The egg noodles with seafood were equally tasty, with perfectly cooked noodles and fresh seafood. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the presentation of the dish. The plate they used for the noodles looked quite cheap, which slightly detracted from the overall experience. A simple switch to a black plate would elevate the presentation and make it truly excellent. Overall, fantastic food and highly recommended!!

Great quality food and drinks, cannot complain at all, quick service and fantastic pricing too! There is a lot to choose from and try too!

Horrible experience with food. Thier Broccoli has small insects in it which was clearly visible even after cooking. Broccoli was trimmed which showed that it was gone bad but they still used it with insects in it. After informing the staff all they had to say was they’ll give me a partial refund on the food which I did not even eat after finding insects. Eventually they gave me a full refund. Bad customer service too. I would not recommend this place to anyone

Excellent lunch option for 2 veggies + 1 meaty. Huge selection and even able to make the hard to satisfy teen very happy.

2 veggies + 1 meaty for lunch & all catered for brilliantly, even the fussy tean was happy. My first Vietnamese meal too: won't be my last . . .

My partner found this unique place to eat since we often like Japanese food though we would have a change. They have a lot of options especially considering I am vegetarian so don't eat any meat or seafood. All the staff here were super friendly and kind. I ordered the Tofu and vegetable spring rolls dry vermicelli bowl which was really nice. My partner got meat spring rolls and mixed meat combo which has a lot of different things in it definitely worth the money.

Great food served quickly and effeciently. Flavour and leaves you wanting more, only problem is the portions are generous so you can't fit any more in! The tables are very close together so don't expect a quiet, private conversation.

Absolutely banging. Got us in with no notice and the best pho I’ve ever eaten.

Went with my partner to order some food and had to send back my glass as it was dirty with dried food still visibly on there. The plate had further food stains left on it and when my partner complained about only having 2 prawns in the stir fry, the women became incredibly defensive, rude and confrontational. She argued with me for over 5 mins about my partner sending the food back, I decided to cancel my order and informed her we were leaving and only paying for the drinks. Disgraceful behaviour from staff and poor hygiene standards.

Great food with very generous portion sizes. Booked a table for 7pm on a Saturday and it was full the entire time so I would recommend booking. However the staff still provided excellent service and were very friendly.

I went with my partner to the Wonder Pho restaurant in Nottingham. Like the title of the restaurant we experienced some wonderful dishes. Those that worked in the restaurant and served on were also very pleasant and welcoming. We ordered the Pawn Summer Rolls as a starter which was served with a lovely sweet sauce. The food was very fresh. Our main meals consisted of Vietnamese Stewed Beef Rice, Mixed Meat Fried Rice and Camfire Beef. These were excellent and the meat was so tender. The meals were not over spiced and there was no chili anywhere which was a relief. We had Green Tea to accompany this food. I would certainly recommend this restaurant and cannot wait to go again when I am next in the city.

We went today after having a haircut. The food was lovely! We have a bowl of rare beef pho and some chicken fried flat noodles. Oh and some salt and pepper chicken Portion sizes were decent and affordable. I will definitely be back!

If you are looking for a genuine Vietnamese food experience you will not go far wrong going here. Top notch for literally everything. Food has that authentic taste and like in Vietnam, where there are lots of Vietnamese eating, the place must be doing something right. Service good, food good. I've eaten here many times now and yet to have a bad experience.

If you're like me and don't rate the chain PHO, come here to get your Pho fix. We wanted to order the BBQ grilled quail, but they ran out, so instead we shared the prawn summer roll starter (£6.80), very fresh and refreshing. I had the Bún cá cay (Spicy fish noodle soup, £13.80). Unfortunately they ran out of fish cake, so replaced this ingredient with prawns. The flavour was decent and amount of noodles given was plentiful, would've preferred if there was more seabass and of course fish cakes. Tofu was fried to good ol crisp level. Fiancé had the Bún bò giò heo (Traditional homemade pig trotters Bun Hue, £12.80). Very flavourful, right level of spice, a lot of meat and very filling. Lemon Grass Tea and Peach Ice Tea (£4.00 ea) again were really refreshing, tasted freshly made rather than poured from a can or bottle.

One of the best grilled pork Bánh mì’s I had outside of Vietnam! Delicious. Can’t wait to come back to try more dishes.

Actually we walk to CC.T Vietnam cafe , halfway we met a friend, she recommend me why not try the Wonderful 😮( wonder Pho ). So we visited this area which we less around . 1st in look dining area good , waitress warm welcome ( few handsome guy). A bit long wait for ours sharing stared & 4 main course. 90% ++ Satisfaction· really delicious local style & taste . The coffee also not the 2 in 1 package. Surely will 2nd visit ..

The best Vietnamese restaurant in Nottingham with really delicious food, generous portions, fresh ingredients, fast and friendly service, and reasonable prices. We usually spend £35+/person in other restaurants in the same area for similar quality, while here, we spent around £25. The menu is quite extensive, with lots of choices for different diets (GF, vegan, etc.) Pho (beef noodle soups) have authentic taste. The tasting platter is a very good start and super delicious! During 7 days in Nottingham, our group visited this place 4 times and were very happy with our choices. Highly recommended. Btw, some of the staff speak Vietnamese :).

It’s a busy buzzing Vietnamese restaurant. Staff are knowledgeable & really accommodating with my request of spicy vegetarian Pho. Food is fresh & delicious and the portion size is huge.

Had the slow cooked beef brisket pho & it was incredible. The broth was so flavourful & the beef as tender as it could be. The staff were really friendly & made some recommendations for when I next return.

The tofu and spring rolls lacked the herbs I was hoping to taste. Staff are nice, music is a huge put off; banging Sabrina Carpenter and Rhianna...no thanks! I'd prefer some gentle Vietnamese music. I guess they're focusing on a younger clientele.

I called for a pickup order and got a special pho and prawn summer rolls with the fish sauce and it was INCREDIBLE.

Every time I come to Nottingham I make a beeline to eat here. Always fantastic food, well prepared, very tasty and looks good. The staff are always attentive and helpful. Every city needs a Wonder Pho.

Tried the vegan bun hue. Was pretty bland, and the noodles were over cooked. Wasn’t spicy either, could only taste anything once I added sriracha and coriander.

The mixed meat combo pho I had was great. Came out super quick and broth was piping hot. Friendly staff and tasty food for a good price. Just what I needed on a cold day.

Came to eat here yesterday evening at 9pm. Despite coming an hour before close the female and male waitress/waiter were extremely welcoming and friendly. Service was quick and food was amazing, filling and value for money. Always a pleasure to go here and definitely recommend if looking for good Vietnamese food.

The service was great, they were friendly and quick. The food on the other hand was so bland. I had their summer rolls which were nice, nothing crazy. But the chicken noodle soup was so bland and disappointing

The restaurant is not big, there are not many seats, but there are quite a few customers. The environment there is very comfortable, hygienic, the lighting and layout are harmonious, and the waiters are friendly, polite and responsive. We ordered side dishes, Vietnamese Pho, and Vietnamese coffee, and all the food tasted great. The price is reasonable and I will recommend it to my friends.

We stumbled across this restaurant & thought we would give it a try. It was a 'nice busy' earlish on a friday evening. We opted to try the cheapest wine on the menu & really enjoyed it. The vegetarian platter was the perfect portion size for two & very tasty. The main courses could have had more flavour. The noodles were a little bland and not enough tofu in the dish, and the dry bowl could benefit from more flavours. Nice visit, would go again and try other things on the menu.

This restaurant can single-handedly carry the Vietnamese cuisine in Nottingham. The food was authentic and delicious. The staff were welcoming. I cannot find any flaws in this restaurant. I believe this is the best restaurant in Nottingham.

Delicious food and authentic atmosphere

Local gem hidden away in Nottingham. Upon entry the restaurant seemed to be full of native Vietnamese which is always a good indication of authenticity. The staff are helpful and polite and the food delicious. Also surprising are the generous portion sizes and possibility to order a whole pot of various teas to share. I wish we had something like this back home as I am sure it would be hit. Thanks again!

The food here is 5 star. As a table of 7 we sampled a variety of what was on the menu. 4 of us had Pho, and we're all in agreement that it was some of the best Pho we had ever had. In terms of starters, one of the group got through a sharing platter for 3 on their own. It was busy when we went, and despite having pre-booked, it was quite evident that a different group of 6 had been recently seated at our table, as there was only a table for 6 remaining for us (and a separate table for 2). We were moved to a table to accommodate all of us before the food arrived, but it spoiled the start of the meal. Due to the confusion, staff were also slow to take a drinks order. The staff were friendly, and I am sure that if you go when it is less busy the service would be fine. But, in this instance the service nudged the overall experience to a 4 star, rather than a 5 star review that the food really deserves.

Had an excellent lunch with my colleagues at this brilliant Vietnamese restaurant. We ordered Summer Rolls and Barbecue Grilled Quail as our starter. To my surprise, the Grilled Quail is very tender and I like how they marinate it well with the lemongrass sauce. 10/10 from me and should be marked as a must-try uncommon food in Notts. Their pho dishes are simply amazing - both non spicy and spicy variations of pho in the menu are marvelous. I had slow cooked beef and sliced rare beef pho which is wonderful and delightful to have. I enjoy their service and hospitablity very much and this restaurant deserves a second visit, just to try different types of pho.

Great food and atmosphere, and very friendly staff! We went for a friend’s birthday dinner and they even were happy for us to store the cake there and bring it out after our dinner. Complete with a birthday song and the whole restaurant singing Happy Birthday with us!

The Pho was sooo good, really enjoyed the pickled garlic and chillies with it, and the accompanied bean sprouts chilli's lemon and coriander. Great touch! I will be back. Lovely lady who served me too :) also said they can make dishes without soya sauce as I have an intolerance! Great service!

pho is very good here, its a shame they do serve enough rice noodles, as there us lots of broth but a kid size amount of noodles in the pho, so pho is a very watery affair.....please add more noodles as I was still starving after finishing a bowel

Fantastic fresh Vietnamese food at really good prices - the place was busy when we walked past (actually intending on visiting a different Vietnamese restaurant) but we circled back around and went back to this one based on how busy it was. We had the banh mi special and bun cha with lemongrass pork and spring rolls, and it all tasted divine. Fresh Vietnamese coffee was perfect too. Table condiments were great and authentic. We’d definitely return.

Very nice pho restaurant. Here I had the best vegetarian pho of my life (they have lots of dishes for vegetarians and vegans). Staff were also so friendly: they came to our table to give us toffee sweets... Thanks! One thing highly appreciated is that on the menu they have pictures of each plate, which help you to better understand what you are going to order. At the end is highly recommended if you are looking for a genuine Vietnamese pho. 👍👍👍

These guys know how to make great food. We’re a band on a European tour and been eating Vietnamese on most nights in different cities and Wonder Pho was easily the best one.

I got the spicy noodle soup with fish fillet and tofu, so tasty! Our server was also super friendly. My friend ordered the lemongrass chicken bun cha and said it was some of the best chicken he’d ever had.

Such a great little find. Delicious food and friendly,attentive staff. We had the mixed starter which was really fresh and lovely, especially the prawn and mango salad, and then special egg noodles with extra chillies and shaking beef with egg fried rice. Generous portions and great value, especially the wine!
