I don’t even know how it could become so outrageous now. Summary: When I buy something, do I have the least rights to know what you are selling? I won't complain about your trashy attitude. The story is as follows: Come in and order food Waiter: "Sorry, you can only add meat twice." Me: “So it’s three times in total?” "no" I said, "Then only two sets in total?" Waiter: "Hey, I can cut it for you a little more" (becoming impatient) Me: "It's not whether you have two plates at one table or two plates per person." Waiter: "Just pay first." Me: "Isn't that enough to eat? First tell me how much meat it is, so I can at least figure out what I'm buying." Waiter: "This is none of my business." I said, "Then let me ask your boss first." Waiter: "Our boss is not here today, it was decided by the kitchen sister." I said, "Can you ask the kitchen sister to come? We just want to know how much we have, so as not to start eating differently and end up having an unpleasant incident." (When buying something, at least tell me what I bought before paying. what is it!) Waiter: "I'll cut you three plates, okay!" (Super impatient) and then left directly. " I just want to ask, if you ask me to pay for it without explaining clearly what you are selling, what is the difference between this and a liar? ? ?

We dined for 2 and it was meh. We had a hotpot, the menu was not clear on the pricing (is it per order/per person), what's included or how the whole thing works. The lady serving gave very little explanation about the "unlimited menu". The selections for hotpot was good, but they have no names/labels, so I was clueless what I was picking to put in my hotpot. Seafood selection was limited. There were no big bowls (you'll have small bowl that can barely fit a shrimp and a small saucer) so my seafood and vegetables got overcooked in the pot as it continues boiling, which was a shame. The service was prompt tho, which is good. The atmosphere was dry, no music, all you can hear is the knocking sound of the fridge from the far end of the room. The value for money was poor. I can recommend ordering their alacarte dishes tho, big portions.

Not my kind of food, ok.. but when you ask to see the invoice at the end they ask u angrily if you can read Chinese!!! So wrong!

Loved it. My sons choice for his birthday meal. A very different kind of dining experience for us all but we soon got the knack of it. I still find chopsticks almost impossible to use.

I recommend to order bbq and hotpot! There is also a buffet where you can get a lot of seafoods! I ended up eating a lot of shrimp the entire meal 😂

This place alone made my trip to Nottingham all the worth it. The food was great, the staffs were lovely and for me it was worth the 15min walk from town to get to. I have to admit the dessert was a bit dry but you're not going there for dessert you're there for the meat. And there were so many option to pick and choose from.

Very nice food. 5 minute walk is a tram stop. Parking outside £1.80 per hour. The only downside was the staff having very limited English. £27.99 for both unlimited Korean bbq and hotpot. If this is your first time like it was for us: Hotpot- Choose two soups, and choose 3 meats from the bottom of the menu. Point to them as the staff have very limited English. Go to the back of the restaurant, choose as many different meats/ veggies/noodles as you want and pop them on the square plates. Cook your veggies first in the hotpot, then meat, then noodles. Dipping sauces can be made with different ingredients in the back of the restaurant too. Korean BBQ- Use the meats you got and cook on hot plate. Don’t remove the grease proof paper. When you have finished those, either order more meat, or use the ones from the help yourself at the back of the restaurant. Drinks- unlimited refills £4.80. Each refill is a 330ml can, or it’s £3.00 for one can. The only downside was the language barrier. For two people, unlimited hotpot and unlimited bbq and two refillable drinks, £65

I’m pleasantly surprised to find a spot in Nottingham that does both Chinese Hotpot and Korean Barbecue. We found this spot after feeling like getting kbbq but not being able to find anything in town. Went there with my bf and friend and everything is easy, do-it-yourself styled hotpot and kbbq and it is in Asia. They provided cutlery for those who are not great at chopsticks, and generally good food. The only nitpick is that the cuisine is not that easy for someone who doesn’t use chopsticks unless tongs are provided, so be aware if you are not great at holding chopsticks, and we recommend going with an Asian friend who knows about the cuisine to make sure everything is cooked properly the first time :)

Food deadly salty Customer service not good

First time here. Ventured off the beaten track and try authentic Chinese cuisine. Lin, the manageress, recommended beef fried rice with cumin. Okay, in for a penny, in for a pound. Well, it was absolutely delicious! Can't wait to go back to Four Season again and try other various items on the menu.

Strongly not recommended, the meat is not fresh, the selection is small, the meat is loose, and the hot pot base is unhealthy and has coloring agents

Went for the bbq and hot pot all you can eat menu and honestly was amazed at it all! Massive selection of both bbq and hot pot options and with 2 hrs we had plenty of time to enjoy everything! Definitely made the most of the time and the staff were lovely! Will definitely return again! Already planning another trip!

Always love coming back here. All you can eat and hotpot, what's not to love. Lovely soup bases and plenty of choice for meat, fish and veg. Spent our 10 year wedding anniversary here and as usual staff are lovely, friendly and courteous. If a hotpot beginner and never tried it before, try here and you won't regret it. Staff always go out their way to makesure you are comfortable and offer the best advise.

The most authentic Chinese restaurant in Nottingham. Wide range of traditional dishes at reasonable prices. Anything from hotpot to BBQ to mains or starters to please your soul.

I used to work there as an employee. The place is very dirty. The meat that the customer can't finish eating will be given to the next customer. The cloth to wipe the bowl is never washed. The chopstick cover is reused. It's very unhygienic. The boss is very disrespectful to girls and will insult all girls with words. I don't recommend anyone to eat at all

To start off, the restaurant gave me an epic experience and the staff were overall friendly. They speak in multiple languages such as English, Cantonese and Mandarin. The food was unique having a wide selection of choices to pick and had to be either boiled in soups or barbequed over a grill. It isn't too crowded at times so as the prices were quite reasonable and alot cheaper.

This is a diverse restaurant. People can order dishes from menu, or decide buffet-style hotpot, BBQ or mix. The price is higher than before. If you fond of spicy food, which is right place.

quite possibly the worst restaurant around, why has the food standard agency not investigated the place?! - restaurant has rats and gives people food poisoning! - never again and do not recommend!

The food is delicious. But the owner doesn't seem to speak English and communicates though a translation app. Also, the hygiene seem questionable. As the condiments doesn't have covers and spotted a couple of flies buzzing around. Also the restaurant don't accept card. You can pay electronic through bank transfer. A bit dodgy in my book.

Such a wonderful experience! For both the hotpot and kbbq we paid £27 which we felt was really good value for money. Staff were super friendly and helpful. They only take cash or bank transfer, but we didn’t find that to be an issue.

My favourite hotpot restaurant! have tried haidilao in london but this remains best to me. Absolutely LOVE the bone broth and tomyum for hotpot. The BBQ option is excellent as well. Not too pricey as it is all you can eat :)) have come back about 3x, many more to go!

Great Hotpot and BBQ for Nottingham. Paid £26 per person for a hotpot and a bbq with choice of two soups as well as a decently sized platter of different meats served. As soon as your table is ready with everything they bring over lamb and beef rolls which are amazing and one of the best things they serve. They also bring over this delicious fried beef which slapped. There is also the buffet which is pretty great. They have a large variety of seafood, vegetables, noodles and rice cakes as well as differently seasoned meats for the bbq - most of which were incredible. The station to make your own dipping sauce is also a neat touch. All the food was tasty and the the whole experience was both fun and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a hotpot or bbq in Nottingham.

The customer service and staffs are very good and I do not have anything bad to say about it. I had all-you-can-eat hotpot and BBQ, the quality of the meat and the flavor were alright and good enough for me. I preferred the hotpot more than BBQ because it tasted better. The only problem was when I was trying to book a reservation there weren’t many people speaking English so there was a language barrier, so I was being passed around quite a lot.

Has become more expensive under new ownership in the last couple of years, however you could argue that it was too cheap previously. Either way, thoroughly worth every penny, if you want authenticity this is the place. Highly recommend the all you can eat hot pot and barbecue.

If only there was an option for 0 stars! Just ordered an expensive meal from here and received a completely different order! It looked as if they had just put all of their leftovers of the week into one tub. Not too sure what the meat was: my guess is it was either stale bacon or mink.. I called the restaurant and no one there seemed to speak English which is strange considering it is a restaurant in a city centre in England, therefore almost all customers that go in will speak English? They hung up on me numerous times and eventually stopped answering that number so I had to call on a different one, to which they answered straight away, then hung up again when I explained I needed a refund and the correct meal. The only English anyone seemed to speak was 'come here', but I'm self isolating, so I don't think it would be wise to get a bus into the city centre to ask the 'non-english speaking' staff for a refund. This defeats the whole purpose of Deliveroo if you have to go into the restaurant to get the meal you actually want. The food was as bad as it looked and it seemed as though they had tried to mask the terrible flavour with too many spices.. Would not recommend this to anyone unless you are a fan of old bacon, beef fat and extremely poor customer service!

We went for hot pot the last time I was here, but you can also go for barbecue style. I love hot pot, sitting around the hob with my friends while we share food from the same pot as we cook it. Reminds me of a camp fire, metaphorically speaking. A great bonding and social experience. They have lots of base soups too chose from, from traditional to your classics and all the standard food items you would expect to cook in a hot pot. It costs £15, so it's a bit on the expensive side, but then again you can eat as much as you want. Word of warning, Do Not get the lamb if they offer it to you. Don't get me wrong it is cooked to perfection, but it will cost you £50!.. I would recommend getting the home made prune juice though, it is surprisingly tasty!

I have been to this restaurant last year and it was a 3 star rating as although the staff and owner are very nice and food was good, it just didnt have that sparkle! Nothing special. However it has had a refit and renovation and now it is excellent. It has the most unique hot pot as it rises out of the table on command of a button. The selection is large and also has a barbeque hot plate built into the table with good quality meat selection. The decor is very fashionable and everything feels and looks clean. Parking may be an issue, but there is council metered road parking directly outside the restaurant. Staff service is quick and polite. Although it is modernised, it still has a traditional feel from the set menu, not the 'chinglish' rubbish from some places! All in all, worth a visit if not for the hot pot set up!

I believe the restaurant may have changed hands since my original visit in 2016. Now following refurbishment, its only improved - with the variety of hot pot ingredients that come within the £20 food bracket is great. Service is excellent, one gentleman in particular spoke very passionately about this cuisine and was incredibly helpful when we were ordering. Don't feel intimidated if you don't speak Chinese - this hot pot experience isn't one to miss!

Did not get to experience the food here as we turned up on a Wednesday. Despite the website saying the place was open the sign on the door said it was closed on a Wednesday. Disappointed as we had travelled quite a long way to experience the hotpot which I heard was good. It looks as though the place may have changed hands recently so maybe take the reviews on here with a pinch or salt and go see for yourself?

Went to have a hot pot plus BBQ (£18) with friends for lunch today. There was a variety of ingredients to choose from and the seats were comfortable too. I like the environment too as it wasn’t feeling too crowded. Do give it a try.

El lugar es una empresa familiar dirigida por un amable y amable tipo servicial. las opciones de comida para el hotpot & BBQ son enormes. Me di cuenta de que seguían rellenando los platos una vez que estaban vacíos, lo cual es algo bueno, realmente han actuado juntos en este lugar, no me puedo quejar. My favourite hot pot restaurant! I've brought countless friends here and everyone has been a regular since. Staff are super nice and I can always count on a wonderful experience every time I'm here! They also offer Chinese style BBQ and loads of drinks. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a hotpot near in Lincoln but this is the place that we could find we traveled almost 1 hour and 20 minutes and it's all worth it! The host and the waiters are very hospitable they always make sure that we got everything we need definitely going to recommend it to a friend can't wait to go back in there. Small place but worth to visit.

Sólo teníamos sopa.La sopa ollas estaban bastante grande, mis amigos sopa estaba muy picante, mi sopa estaba con hierbas y el sabor era muy soso.Mayoría de la comida que quisiera poner en su hervidor, tienes que pedir al camarero que llevar a la mesa. Había una estación fría para conseguir algunas verduras y tofu, etc.Toda la carne y gambas que pedimos fueron congeladas. Y los controles para el calor para el hervidor eran muy fiddly y difícil de controlar la temperatura adecuada o switch en o fuera.Comparado con otro restaurante de hervidor localmente que he revisado, en mi opinión, no creo que ofrece buena relación calidad-precio, principalmente debido a la falta de variedad de comida y tener que pedir, en vez de recoger tú mismo.
