Disappointed with Service and Food Safety I had a very disappointing experience at Oodles Chinese. Despite clearly informing the staff about my allergy to spicy food and specifically requesting non-spicy dishes, the food came out extremely spicy. When we complained, they agreed to remake it free of charge — but we waited a long time and nothing ever came. To make things worse, we ordered and paid for torpedo prawns, which were never brought to our table. The chicken pepper wings we ordered also mysteriously disappeared without explanation. Overall, the service was unresponsive, and the lack of care about food allergies is unacceptable. I won’t be returning and I will not suggest my friends come neither.

Ordered many times before and will continue to order. Food always hot and tasty. Always arrives on time and delivery drivers always friendly. Today's order was exactly what I ordered and was beautiful

I ordered on uber eats and I have been sick with food poisoning for a week and have been vomiting since, I ordered a few items and the noodle box with chicken smelt really foul. I am very dissappointed and will never order from here again.

I’m really disappointed with how much the service has declined at this place. I’ve ordered three times recently, and each time there’s been a problem. The first time (through uber eats) the rice wasn’t even cooked properly. The second time, they completely got my order wrong and gave me noodles instead of rice. I decided to give them another chance, but yet again, my order was wrong. I tried calling several times to sort it out, but no one picked up the phone. Since I couldn’t get through to anyone directly, I’m now leaving this review. It’s frustrating to see such poor service become a pattern, especially when I used to enjoy ordering from here via

Llamó de nuevo para hablar con un gerente y la empleada simplemente nos sigue diciendo que no hablará con nosotros a pesar del hecho de que nos deben dinero. Incluso colgó en una ocasión. Increíblemente grosero y genuinamente sorprendido por la audacia y la falta completa de cuidado por la experiencia y satisfacción del cliente. I am yet to taste the food. I have just picked up my order. And met a lovely young lady out there Jessica. She is soo kind and really humbled by her service. She helped me get my large noodle box as I wanted it to be. Really appreciate her kind attitude towards customers. Will definitely visit again to try something new and get best service by Jessica.

I've ordered quite a few times now and always found it excellent. It arrives hot, portions are generous and it's tasty and well cooked. I think the combo style boxes are a great thing, not something you see too commonly in the UK, but it adds a lot of choice and variety to your personal meal. I think if you guys could craft some sort of homemade dessert, and give some generous portions of that you would be onto a winner.....perhaps a homemade Iced Tea too! :)

Got the bentos box-chicken chowmien, 2 salt and pepper wings, 3 spring rolls Overall such great value for money, wings were divine and spring rolls lovely. Chow mien was incredibly spicey with over whelming chilli and black pepper. Chicken chunks were nice but ruined but spice- not very authentic chowmien taste Shop was clean and staff friendly and helpful

I thoroughly enjoy food of this eatery, and have been ordering time and again. Those ‘create your own’ boxes are a treat, plenty of room for experimentation with different combos. The delivery guy Andy is one amiable fellow I must say!

Absolutely delighted on how fresh the noodles were. Especially the sauce and rice box it looks small but when your half way your already full so the money is definitely worth spending. Also a large variety on the menu. Credit goes to the manager Dalool! Best manager ever!

The food arrived piping hot, which was a definite highlight. The flavors were bold and satisfying, and each box was generously filled to the brim, showing great attention to portion sizes - a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. However, one disappointment was the drink. We specifically ordered Coca-Cola™️, as shown in the product image, but were sent an off-brand alternative that tasted quite unpleasant. While the food was excellent, the drink substitution was a letdown.

Probably the worst tasting food in Nottingham. Ordered through UberEats, food had no flavour loads of colouring and was not tasty at all. Kids box was dreadful with solid pieces of chicken probably been sitting there for a day or two. Wouldn’t be eating from here again. Not acceptable for any business by far

Ordered online and after 1.5 hours k called to ask how long it would be. The lady on the phone was quite rude, I explained we had been waiting quite a while with no communication to which she replied “yeah well we’ve been busy”. She said it had left the shop, 20 minutes later as I was just about to cancel it, it arrived. It was hot making me think it hadnt left the shop when she said it had. Ordered on deliveroo, the food arrived and I was given someone else’s box. I rang to let them know and asked for the correct food to be sent to me, I was told they were “super busy” and I’d get it “next time”. Awful customer service! Requested a refund through deliveroo and won’t be ordering again, how can you expect someone to eat food they did not order?

Absolute garbage, mediocre food at best. Most of the people giving positive reviews must have either very low standards of food or don't know how chinese food should taste. No egg in the egg fried rice, just plain and tasteless. Ordered chicken katsu curry with my box, but none of it to be seen. It smells alot nicer than what it actually tastes so it's very misleading. Chicken over cooked aswell. I think the best thing about it was the spring rolls tbh. Be the first and last time I order from here.

Didn't know this place was halal. It doesn't mention that on just eat or even on the website at all! Something you should be letting people aware of in case it goes against their own religious beliefs or if they just dont agree with the practice of halal. Why do places like these always accommodate muslim's and their religion practices but completely disregard other people's? Like I said, if you certain people want halal food, then i have no problem with that whatsoever, but make it known that's the case so the people who don't can avoid it if they want too. The food is disgusting anyway so it'll be the last time I waste my money on this deceitful place.
