Another "hit the spot" dim sum!! Fantastic service.

Compared to dinner at their restaurant, I personally recommend their morning tea. Morning tea is from 12 noon to 4:30 pm. The snacks are freshly made in limited quantities. If you go late, you will not have any. The portion is very suitable and very delicious. , and the price/performance ratio is higher for three people or less

Was visiting our son at university and decided to take out for something to eat. How do you find a good Chinese/Cantonese restaurant? You'll know by the clientele it attracts if the majority of customers are Chinese and chopsticks are used instead of standard English cutlery (you can request if required) Arrived a 6pm it was completely full. Staff friendly and funny. As for the food, we had a starter and a main. The latter did take time to arrive, but good food takes time, and it didn't disappoint when it arrived. I would have to say it's probably one of the best meals we've had at a restaurant of this ilk in a very long time was well worth the money total bill £92.40 3 people 10/10 even left more than the standard 10% tip 😀 Would 1000% recommend and revisit this place again. ❤️

Good range of Dim Sum with friendly, helpful staff. Don't be put off by the Dim Sum order form being in Chinese - numbers correspond to the menu and its very easy to order. Must book ahead for Sunday as very busy.

Superb. Quick service, excellent food, portions are very large so be careful not to over order mains. Staff are friendly and efficient. One of the best meals I've had recently. Recommended

Even better than most of the Chinese restaurant in London China Town. The authentic yumcha place, comfy sofa, delicious food and excellent service!

Absolutely fantastic food, I saw a review that said it was just like Chinatown in london. No. It's just like the food in China and surprisingly reasonable prices.

That day, I parked my car and tried it out. There was a huge traffic jam and many people canceled their reservations. I could take my time and then order the roast duck. The duck was delicious.

BEWARE of hidden charges, they charge 5% for taking card payments which I didn’t think was legal. We were also charged an additional 5% because it was Chinese New Year?? They’re not very transparent about it and don’t tell you unless you query the bill. Total bill £112.

I’ve eaten here twice so far and the food and service is absolutely fantastic! The most authentic Chinese restaurant you’ll find! ✨

Fabulous pre-show meal; service was friendly and quick. The food - wow, best sweet and sour chicken ever and friends loved their sizzling dishes. Really highly recommend - don’t understand why only rated 4.2 on google. Don’t miss out

You still have to wait for more than 20 minutes even though you have book the table.

Although the food was excellent, the staff seemed very abrupt and we felt rushed , we wanted coffee's and dessert after our meal , said they had neither , but others were having them .then quickly pulled of the table cloth and reset table for next customers .

Really good food. You know as Chinese people eat here. Made an online booking but didn't get confirmation as it stated, so called and reservation had been made. Good idea to book by 📱 to start with. Would eat here again.

I have been living in Nottingham for more than 5 years, but this restaurant provided the worst service I’ve ever had. It’s a place full of racism and discrimination. The restaurant staff always bothered us when we were eating food and pushed us to order food and leave soon. They basically ruined everything and rejected us to pay separately. The price is also more expensive than other Chinese restaurants. I don’t recommend people eating here.

Terrible service. I came late and my food was cold. Staff was reluctant to heat it up. Portion was small, not worth the money spent.

Best Chinese I've had in a long time. Food excellent. Service attentive but not intrusive and checked in if we wanted a break between course which was nice.

Went for dinner before a show. Heard about it and was looking forward to a lovely dinner. The whole place was tired, badly lit and just had a v grubby feel to it. The menu folders were sticky and old - like they had been in use for 20 years. Food served v quickly. Was only ok. Will not go again. Dont beleive the hype - just very below average. Did not feel welcomed or wanted.

We had dinner here last night for my husband's birthday. We ordered from the dim sum menu. The food was absolutely amazing - the best dim sum I've ever had! But it didn't end there, the owner and staff were sooo lovely and made our night one to remember. We can't wait to come back and try the main menu! 😊

I often make appointments with friends for dim sum and dinner here. The dim sum and roasted duck here are also exceptional. The dim sum here is even more delicious than what I've had at restaurants in Hong Kong, and the portions are generous. I always leave satisfied after each visit. This time, there were only two ladies dining, and we ordered eight pieces of dim sum. The portions were large, and we ended up having leftovers to take home. It would be even more ideal if there were more convenient parking options available.

I love this place, the dim sum's so good and fairly priced. Jasmine tea is good too, but not free.

Exceptionally speedy service - really good portion sizes, reasonably priced. Would recommend the Szechuan beef and sweet and sour chicken, both were delicious. Great spot to visit, perfect for food ahead of a gig at the Nottingham arena.

Might need booking. The food was absolutely amazing… Service was nice and quick. Roasted duck was one of the top roast duck I’ve ever had in the UK. Beef balls were amaaaaazing!!! Shanghai buns weren’t delicious at all. The pastry was stiff and they aren’t juicy. Recommended in general!

We’ve been coming here for five years every month, the food is amazing but the owner (or man always here) has just got worse and worse with manners. He must of forgot when this place was empty before lockdown and during lockdown that we supported it all the way. Now it’s full every time we come and he doesn’t have the time of day. Waitresses are nice though always.

We visited Mandarin today. The food was exceptional. The BEST Chinese I have ever had. The service was incredibly quick. I advised the server that I had a nut allergy and she was extremely helpful at advising what was OK to order and was very reassuring to me. I will definitely visit again

Didn't even manage to eat. Booked on line hadnt had a reply so rang later they said oh we dont look at on line bookings and anyway we shutting at 9pm tonight !! Needless to say won't bother again

Would advise to book for dim sum due to high demand on weekends. Food is nice on average but due to high traffic, service can be spotty if you don't speak up.

Look at the audience and you know the food is authentic. I was the only white person in the restaurant and I really enjoyed the dim sum. The radish cake is on the same level as London's best Chinese restaurants, the youtiao is brilliant, too. Even the tea was good. Service was quick, toilets were clean. What more could you expect?

Food is very good here, hence why it's always so busy. Booking a table is pointless because you still have to wait because they are not very organised. If you don't mind long wait the food is pretty good.

The food was probably the best we'd had. The service was ok but unfortunately we got the impression they wanted us out as soon as we'd finished our main meals. As soon as they removed our plates, we were presented with the bill. The decor is tired and dingey inside and out. It made it feel unclean. Cobwebs and dust in the light fittings, and the carpet left a lot to be desired.

Always reliable for authentic Cantonese Cuisine and Dim Sum (aka Yumcha). Always hits the spot. Book a table, but be on time or you’ll lose your table and have to wait. It’s understandable because it’s so sought after and amazing you can’t complain if they give your table away if you’re late. So be smart. Book and be on time.

Few staff can see Different people and different services sure be everything same. Food is very good and tasty.

Nice authentic dim sum, both the foods and the atmosphere. Quick service. Always a long queue for table (so, best book a table). Small portions for the dry dim sum (e.g. yam puff, prawn in pastry with salad sauce etc.), else five stars.

本來是一間還可以的港式酒樓, 好多香港人一直很天真的為左香港人幫香港人去幫襯佢, 但隨著香港移民潮生意不斷增加, 各項質數已經下降到一個不能接受的地步, 我們在香港酒樓遇到最差的一切都可以在這裡重現, 食物差服務差唔在講, 連用餐時間都要限定, 不幸的是我一家人坐下不足一小時, 已經給收去所有餐具, 只剩水杯一只, 之後一張結賬的單掉在桌上, 那算是什麼服務呢? 明明是說好用餐90分鐘我已經無奈接受, 而家連以往往香港最差私服務態度都擺出來給我們這些香港人受, 我們如果要接受那一套我就留在香港啦, 喜得寶算了吧, 賺到錢又唔係原型畢露的仆街生意人, 我地D香港人點解要俾錢你賺? 就如外傳的花名一樣, 祝呢間酒樓"死得早".

The space might not be big, but the food is superb

The price’s a little high but the food is delicious. There’s lots of people there but normally the staff is shortage and do not have time to provide the best service for everyone as they are really busy. However, the food is very very tasty, i can certainly say that its even better than most restaurant in Hong Kong.

服务员态度恶劣区别对待！不知道在优越些什么！眼睛不知道长了有什么用，不需要可以捐给有需要的人。比外国客人先上楼，她还能说不知道我们是先来的，给外国客人（2人）安排四人桌给我们楼梯旁的小角落，还说这不是一样。

這是一家中菜餐廳，菜牌以粵菜比較多，餐廳裝飾十分華麗，有兩層，枱也多，客人也不少。 環境方面，尚算舒適衛生，只是有時，枱與枱之間比較窄。 今次，我點了腐竹牛腩煲，蝦醬火腩豆腐煲，和蓮藕蜜糖豆炒花枝，味道很好，牛腩夠腍，花枝也新鮮。 服務方面，侍應有禮主動。 價格方面，尚算合理。 聽說，中菜餐廳又有水準的不多，這家是一個不錯的選擇。

Very busy and noisy restaurant with lots of people. Customer service was a little questionnable. A couple of other tables came in after us and got served before us - this may have been a cultural thing as they were quite rude in getting the waiters attention to get served. Food however was amazing, the shredded beef was to die for - i could have just had that and have been happy. We had around 5-6 different small dishes and it was all lovely - there was a bit of a wait for our last 2 plates, so we had to start eating what had already been given to us in fear of it getting cold. Would definitely recommend.

My sons who study here in is craving for some authentic chinese food, and surely enough they deliver. The roast duck and crispy beef are clearly the highlights. The dimsums were also taste very good, I would know as literally just arrived from asia, and even I find the taste is very good. Oh yeah the egg tart for dessert is also a must. Service was quick, efficient and no nonsense just as a chinese restaurant in HK. Highly recommended

Visited this weekend with my family for the second time, and had a great experience once again. The food was AMAZING and the staff were very friendly and attentive. There was a bit of a wait, so would recommend to book ahead of time if on a schedule.
