Arrived on a Friday evening, waited a few minutes for a table. Service was quick and organised. The two dishes I ordered were amazing and authentic. Sadly, I just knew of this place and it is about to end its business the following weekend.

Staff are always very friendly. Had lovely solo visits and meals with friends. Always delicious and varied, changing specials menu. Had a beautiful cold ramen on a piping hot day last summer that I still think about.

For Nottingham to have a place with a good bowl of honest ramen in the city centre without the fancy stuff. Great staff and I can’t comment on the atmosphere as we went right at opening time so it was empty.

Visited with some friends who have been wanting to come for ages. Really enjoyed the food and the server was really attentive snd thorough. I would highly recommend!

I specially drove 1.5 hours to come and eat, and it definitely did not disappoint! The staff provided excellent service! The ramen broth is 10/10—it truly feels like an authentic taste of Japan.

Absolutely gorgeous broth, very rich in flavour. One of the best ramens I have had in a long while. Efficient serving speed. Will definitely return!

I think these ratings should be out of 10 as I would have given this place a 9. I am rating this place against Pho! Wonder Pho and Everyday People. The food was superb but for the same great food you can pay a few quid less at Wonder Pho and you don't get the accompaniments to add your own flavours. Highly recommend it, though, as a great indie eaterie in Nottingham! The service was excellent and it's in a great little spot as well.

I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while now and it did not disappoint. Friendly service and 10/10 food. The octopus balls were really tasty and a great portion size. I had the garlic tonkotsu and they were not shy on the garlic (which is perfect for me) great noodles texture with plenty of bite. Lovely jammy egg. Will 100% be back!

Because I ate very unpleasant pork belly ramen today, and it was in a very noisy restaurant, it immediately reminded me of the very, very delicious ramen I had in Nottingham before graduation and the quiet and warm dining environment. It was very comfortable to eat alone. After that, I invited my classmates to eat together and ordered pork lettuce wraps and pork chop rice. They were both very delicious!

There was a big damn cockroach in the water ugh;;; ㄹㅇ Two fingers are enough. It tastes like Hong Kong food, like Chinese food.

Delicious creamy tonkotsu ramen. Small place and no booking so better to come early.

A great food spot for me and my boyfriend, the ramen was fantastic, especially the Naruto feature, and the korean fried chicken I will definitely be having again. One thing I will note is that the door and windows were open our entire visit, it’s currently 0 degrees outside and this meant I had to keep my coat on for the meal, and even then I was cold, not sure why they left them open. Definitely will be returning though, servers are nice and friendly too!

Incredible service and food, with kind and attentive servers! The only con is that it was very warm due to the steam from the kitchen, but thankfully they opened the door to let some of it out.

Small intimate setting, lovely music and very friendly & attentive staff. The Chicken Gyoza was excellent, I would go there everyday & eat my bodyweight in Chicken Gyoza. The ramen was decent, slightly undercooked and not as spicy but very enjoyable. I’d give it an 8/10. Will be back again.

Food was absolutely amazing!!! Me and my girlfriend came here to try something new and my word was it GORGEOUS! The ramen broth was out of this world, I absolutely encourage people to come here! A five star from meeeee!!!! :)))

If you don’t have a reservation they will take your details and call you when a table is available. This place is extremely busy on a Saturday afternoon and for good reason. We only waited about 10 minutes for a call. The ramen has a chicken broth which tastes slightly lighter than the pork broth versions I have had. On a cold winter day the food here was exactly what we needed. The staff were very accommodating and the service very quick. Definitely worth a visit.

We arrived to find the place very busy, which we took for a good sign, with a short wait of 20 minutes we got a table for two, we were served quickly and our food came just as fast! Food was stunning, best eats I’ve ever had in Nottingham, the ramen especially! For a small food place it was perfect! The staff were lovely (if a bit busy but can’t begrudge them that) and I can’t wait to go back!

Great food, good portions and nice price!

The food was very good, the service too, but I have never seen such a dirty restaurant in my life, let alone the toilet. The table was very sticky, it wasn't properly clean. It doesn't have to be shiny, but it should be clean, especially in a place where food is prepared and eaten. I don't know if I will come back here again.

Had to wait a bit as it was packed but this was my second time here and their ramen has always been consistently great.

I don't really want to tell anyone about this place but it's really good. It's cosy, they are very friendly and i always end up sounding like Homer Simpson when i eat here. Sadly for me, it's a must visit for everyone.

Everything was amazing. The takoyaki melts in the mouth with delicious sauces on top and crispy coating. Ramen was so delicious, the broth is rich in flavour and meat on top are so tender and perfectly cooked. Highly recommended

Best Japanese food in Nottingham! I have been here multiple times, the food is consistently scrumptious and authentic. Staff are superb and atmosphere is so cozy. In the picture we had the chicken katsu curry, tofu shoyu ramen (with char siu instead of tofu), and garlic paitain tonkotsu. We also had the crème brûlée ice cream and triple fried ube with matcha ice cream. Super satisfying meal :)

Nice japanese restaurant in the city center. But be prepared for the queue because there is limited place in the restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was nice and they brought the foods quite fast. The lady in the counter was so polite and helpful, and placed me to the place even though my friends hasnt come yet at that time. Highly recommended place.

Had a fantastic Katsu Curry with a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. The curry was the perfect blend of flavours, can't wait to go again as this is going to be a regular joint I think!

Fantastic asian grub. We absolutely loved the ramen bowl and the gyoza. The food here is pleasing on the eyes and warms the soul. Staff is super friendly and we look forward to coming back sometime soon.

Fantastic Japanese curry with crispy tofu and perfectly cooked rice. We had amazing service and the quality of food in relation to the price is brilliant. The tea on the specials menu was also great, with candied lemon and orange peel 😋

Tonkotsu ramen with the most tasty broth in nottingham. Chicken bone broth, full of collagen and flavour. Octopus balls are good. Pork chitterings are awesome too if you like intestines.

Really great find in the centre of Nottingham. We came across it by chance. We sat out in the sun. The food was amazing, proper top restaurant quality at a very reasonable price. Good portions. Knowledge staff when asking about Sake and additional menu items, they really helped. Will definitely be returning

Found this restaurant by chance and so glad I did. I absolutely love Ramen and in the past the only other place I’d found good Ramen in Nottingham was Everyday People. The Ramen here is exceptional and I cannot wait to go back!

Been several times and love this place. Probably the most authentic ramen and noodle dishes I’ve found in Nottingham city centre (I’ve visited Japan twice) Very fast service and friendly staff.

I love the food here. One of my favourite restaurants in Nottingham. Certainly the best Ramen. Visited on numerous occasions and the food is consistently good.

Both ramen and rice bowls are surprisingly delicious, especially the chicken white soup ramen, which can be said to be the best in the UK outside of London.

I am impressed with ramen from this place. I previously had been travelling to London for a good bowl of ramen at Kanada- ya or ippudo. I ordered a bowl of chicken ramen which was recommended by the server and I am impressed as the soup base, chicken, egg and the noodles were all very good. I ordered a side dish of cha siu and it was equally good. Recommended if you also like a good bowl of ramen.

Visited this evening and oh my gosh, it was unbelievable! So yummy, I had the Japanese grilled pork loin and my partner had the garlic ramen and we both left fully satisfied. The staff are lovely, quick service and the atmosphere was great. Would 100% recommend!! We will be back!

In the past, I often looked for ramen when I was in Hong Kong. I never expected that here I could find the quality and feeling of eating high-quality ramen in the past. The most important thing when eating ramen is the soup base. The soup base here has a natural taste, which is good and not too strong. The boss said that they spend 8 hours every day making this chicken white soup base. I will try it here next time I want to eat ramen

The garlic tonkotsu ramen soup was really nice and the noodles were well cooked The staffs here were very friendly.😊 But there were not many types of side dishes to order. Still looking forward to trying other flavors of ramen next time 😀

This is incredible Ramen restaurant not only UK but also even in EU. This Paitan Tonkotsu is tasty and juicy soup. I really remember Japanese ramen restaurant. Not only taste but also service is so kind and friendly to customers. Finally I came here every dinner from Derby!! (One day, paitan Tonkotsu ,the other day Spicy!) Both of them are super yummy!!

My kid didn’t want to eat buffet for his birthday, but he wanted to eat ramen. I tried the ramen and was full of praise. Especially the dirty fries, fried pork intestines, barbecued pork that melted in your mouth, and the chicken white soup was so tender and smooth👍 What a surprise, I will Zai Li 😋
