Wow, the food is amazing, the service outstanding and we felt like we were the only customers in a full restaurant. I would travel an hour from my home to eat here again!

Excellent food, service, atmosphere the best meal we had in Sandwich, Glass of lemoncello to finish. If only all restaurants were as good as this!

1st visit to this restaurant, amazing food and service. Food outstanding and staff couldn't do enough for us even giving free lemonchellos to finish the evening. Can't wait to return when we visit again. Thankyou so much! ❤

Delicious lunch, can’t wait to go back. A lovely Italian family cook and serve in this restaurant, the food is amazing (and gluten free pasta is available). Had veal, chicken pasta, clam pasta and pizza. Home made desserts (best banoffee pie I’ve had for years, our friend loved the tiramisu). Great atmosphere, will definitely be back.

Beautiful Italian restaurant, staff and owners are so lovely, great atmosphere. Food is absolutely fantastic, I can highly recommend the calamari, best calamari I have had in the UK. Definitely worth a visit when visiting Sandwich.

Fantastic restaurant almost like being in Italy. Food choices excellent, service was outstanding, so friendly not had service like it since being in Italy back in the summer. I asked for a dessert that was not on the menu and immediately they did it for me…. The limoncello at the end of the meal was well received and authentic. Definitely our new go to restaurant.

We were recommended this restaurant and weren’t disappointed. All the staff were very friendly, the range of the menu made it difficult to choose but we were both very pleased with our meals. The price was reasonable and I highly recommend a visit.

Can’t fault the service, very friendly but there was very little Almalfi about the food unfortunately. Meatballs were a little dry, sauce good but came with three little end slices of bread, Chèf could afford not to give just end bits surely! Way over cooked tuna and quite a few unopened mussels and cockles, pizza was a sloppy mess in the middle of undercooked dough sauce and cheese. Maybe we were unlucky.

Service and food was excellent , the ambiance of the building was lovely.We went at lunchtime , the chef came out and checked we were happy with our food ! Brilliant !

This Italian restaurant is a family owned and run establishment. We were lucky to get a table for we did not have a booking. People were being turned away after we were seated. It was a lively place, lots of interaction between staff and the clientele by the owners. It was a joy to watch. Lots on the menu to choose from and my wife had the Zuppa di pesce and I had the Agnello (lamb chops). A nice side salad for each of us. Both were excellent. It was a joy to eat there!

An amazing night! Food excellent and as always made to feel like part of the family. Cannot recommend it more highly. Marco, Merri, Peno and all the staff thank you. ♥️

Visited this week. Really busy. Food looked good and was really nice and fresh. The staff were really happy and helpful. The building is really cool looking - an old bank I think.

So we went here twice in a week - firstly for son’s birthday, then for husband’s birthday. Guy was an absolutely fantastic waiter - lovely and friendly. I had veal both times - first saltimbocca and then just with a lemon sauce. Husband had swordfish - beautifully cooked. Aubergines/spinach sides were lovely. Started with garlic bread - divine. Pino the owner greeted us on our second visit - lovely man. Tiramisu to die for, son’s creme brûlée was delicious too. Really enjoyed the food cooked by Matteo. Beautiful old building. Excellent food - we will be back. Thank you for a lovely evening, Guy, Pino and Matteo!

We are a party of 4 golfers staying near by at the Bell Inn. We visited on a Monday night and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The food was fantastic and so was the service. Will definitely return whenever in the area again.

An absolutely delicious meal yesterday evening cannot fault anything, but my own gluttony 😂 From starters to mains, service etc it was great. Nice and small restaurant with homely service! The meatball starter I had was lovely with some bread to mop up the sauce! The pizzas were excellent- generally don’t order pizza but the white pizza- pizza vittoria was superb! All other food at the table was faultless- looking forward to making the restaurant a regular!

I went for lunch with my mum and 2yr old son, we had a nice friendly welcome, was seated promptly and ordered our food. Before our food was ready my son decided he’d had enough for the day and proceeded to have a massive meltdown...

Lovely restaurant in the heart of Sandwich. Food was very nice snd the owner was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Although we weee the only diners on an early Tuesday evening somehow the restaurant still had a nice atmosphere to it. Definitely recommend it.

This is a great evening out. Warm welcome, great atmosphere and fantastic attentive service. The food was excellent and the portions generous. This is head and shoulders above your typical Italian pizza and pasta restaurant.

We have had the most amazing sea food for Sunday lunch. It was cooked to perfection and was gorgeous. It was an extremely friendly place with a good atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it

Saturday 23rd October, in Sandwich on a sunny with clouds and quite a chill in the air type of day....or is that somewhere in Italy...could well be, what a find. The building is an old bank with some great architecture and a magnificent glass cupola...

Visited again at weekend. Consistently fantastic food and service. Specials are amazing, we had Octopus with mussels and tomatoes as starter, and sea bream and Veal for main courses. The restaurant is authentic Italian, very relaxed, and great atmosphere, a rare find these days🙂

Wow what a find. We are here last night and the food was superb, so much so we have booked to go back before we leave the area. I had the calamari and then a seafood pasta which was amazing, so clean and fresh tasting....
