The best restaurants in St James Northampton East Midlands

Usually I only ever see this place when it's crowded - on Northampton Saints match days. However, busy or not, it's a delightful place with friendly service and the best beer in town - Phipps IPA. A proper pub.

Just had a ham and mushroom pezza...was probably one of the best IV had not going dominos found my new favourite

The gyro chicken and kalamaki chicken are top, very good products, very reminiscent of Greece

The quality of sushi has deteriorated, the portions are smaller, not tasty, the sushi falls apart. I will not order again, although they used to be some of the best in the city!

Really nice food , service is always excellent, I pop in once a week , Ali is always friendly and extremely professional and welcoming, will return

They cooked a better steak than Millet and Carter. At a fraction of the cost. Service was excellent and friendly. Ribs were great and my Dad thoroughly enjoyed this start to his night out. The £10 lunch time deal is amazing too

Simply the best cafe in Northampton with a variety on the menu to suit everyone l! Fresh food that is a great portion size and has never ever been a poor experience in every order I’ve made it’s been 10/10. The lamb shank is my absolute favourite and the breakfasts are amazing not forgetting the sticky toffee pudding!!

Went there with family for the first time, excellent menu explanation from Kristine J Excellent team, the food and milkshake was delicious! Definitely will come again!

I went to my first ever Saints game and then was walking back to town and just kind of followed a crowd of people into the Thomas Beckett and I’m so glad I did. The vibes in there were immaculate with all the other Saints fans. it was great fun with the karaoke and everyone singing along and plenty of pints of Guinness to be had there.
