The best restaurants in St James Northampton East Midlands

Usually I only ever see this place when it's crowded - on Northampton Saints match days. However, busy or not, it's a delightful place with friendly service and the best beer in town - Phipps IPA. A proper pub.

Just had a ham and mushroom pezza...was probably one of the best IV had not going dominos found my new favourite

Well what can I say...the overwhelming stench of blocked toilets put us all off our food. We were deciding on what to eat and just couldn't get the smell out of our minds so just left....how this place is still open is beyond me....

They cooked a better steak than Millet and Carter. At a fraction of the cost. Service was excellent and friendly. Ribs were great and my Dad thoroughly enjoyed this start to his night out. The £10 lunch time deal is amazing too

A good place for a takeaway, plus they will adapt a dish if asked. Food is always tasty and hot, too..

Simply the best cafe in Northampton with a variety on the menu to suit everyone l! Fresh food that is a great portion size and has never ever been a poor experience in every order I’ve made it’s been 10/10. The lamb shank is my absolute favourite and the breakfasts are amazing not forgetting the sticky toffee pudding!!

Had to come on to praise Elliott as he went above and beyond with my gluten free (coeliac) allergy order. I’ve always found Five Guys good for allergen handling but it’s even more comforting having such a helpful member of staff. Burgers and fries were great as always.

Me and my family have been enjoying the best tasting Indian cuisine from this establishment for over 20 years they are masters of what they do

Great pub. Busy because of the rugby ( Saints v Bath ) Professional staff dealing with a lot of punters. No Guinness ( ran out), but no problem, they had Murphys on draught. Impressive service, hospitality and stout adaptability.

I have never seen such dirty cutlery in any restaurant, the cup I served coffee from had a layer of stone and dirty marks

Came in curious about allergens and cross contamination and was given amazing service by Elliot! He was so helpful and so lovely definitely deserves some recognition!

A delightful local pub. The bar staff are so welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere is brilliant. A very good selection of beers, too!

Go chill out here and watch idiots parking outside through the big windows. Great fun. Get a coffee.
