Sixfields in Northampton

Came here as queen Elon’s was closed and one thing for shaw not be back as food was cold and nobody asked if everything was ok some of meat was burnt onion ring was cold

The service at the bar, when I ordered food was small, there were 2 people working, who tried their best, but there was a long queue and the time to order food was longer than usual. The restaurant has a good atmosphere, I and my guests felt very good. The music was calm and we could talk, it was not loud. The place consists of a ball, a fan zone with a large TV, a bar part, a family part, a garden, a playground.

Had a lovely experience yesterday, me and some mates came in for some drinks. Lauren served me at the bar and gave me all the information on the greeneking sports app, she was very kind and helpful

This is a very friendly and welcoming pub in northampton Extremely friendly staff members who made me and my family very welcomed. The food was excellent and came hot and tasted divine. Thank you ever so much for such a great experience

Always a good hearty breakfast, they also take Blue light/Forces discount codes which makes it even cheaper for a great meal.

My colleagues and I worked from here on 10th January. We were shown to a quiet space with lots of sockets for our laptops. Jess looked after us and offered us drinks whilst we worked. The chef, Shay provided us with a lovely lunch. A very friendly and well situated establishment. Would definitely recommend.

We had Christmas dinner here, and I was so impressed by the staff. They made our Christmas day so enjoyable. If you're looking for somewhere to have Christmas 2025 or any evening in-between I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Terrible food. Ordered a Mac and cheese and didn’t even get a half full bowl of it, literally two bites worth. Yesterday I ordered a steak and it was like chewing hubba bubba chewing gum. When you go out to eat you expect a decent dinner but this was below standard. Not happy. Will be making a complaint to the Food Standards Agency.

Just had our Christmas dinner and it was absolutely delicious. The service from when we arrived till we left was first class.All the staff couldn’t do enough to make our visit very pleasant and enjoyable. Well done everyone! 🤶🎉🍾⭐️🏆

Called in for Breakfast on way to shops. Had breakfast which was very good(as always). The pub was clean and staff were very good ensuring that everything was to our satisfaction. Thank you for the good service and keep up the good work you do.

Family and I enjoyed a Christmas Dinner here on Christmas Day. Host and staff was very friendly, quick and fast service and delicious food. 10/10 Christmas Dinner was £60 per person roughly, absolute bargain. Amazing.

Booked for a meal of 30 people back in October and once we got the confirmation email, pre orders were really easy. Table set nice for Christmas with crackers and poppers. All food came out in a timely manner, no issues with any orders. Well organised and great staff. Friendly and helpful.

Chris, Josh, Ellis, Anna and Lauren were amazing and catered for 30 of us at a Christmas party. Food was great value, service was amazing. Highly recommend for large groups!

Good quality pub food at a good price. Especially with the daily offers. Goof sized portions. Easy to order from the app (but you can also order from the bar). A good selection of drinks including alcohol free ones.

Cheap and cheerful. A great menu with lots of food and drink options. Also a good selection for kids. Cocktails available in pitchers as well as glasses. Staff were really friendly and welcoming- great service

Then the restaurant is at the other end of the bar, for people who aren’t bothered about sports. Vast menu choice. Plenty of dogs walks near to the pub too. Handy! #Walkswithbuddy

Relax in the evening, open space, very Christmas feeling already. Plenty of car parks space but can be busy and share with other facilities. The pub is nice, clean and welcoming. The staff are Very friendly and welcoming. The food and dessert well cook and hot. Play area for toddlers and kids up to 12 yr old. the only thing I didn't like but understand and good for environment is their cups when football played. (The football stadium is at least 500 yards away. )

Food is amazing and all staffs are really nice, specially Alex, my English isn’t very well and she is patience when taking my order, and made me a wonderful chocolate. I ordered southern fried chicken that cooked by chief Ellis and Matty, it’s really delicious, I tried southern fried chicken in another restaurant before but Sixfied one is the best. Marti service is very good also. Definitely will come again, already miss the good and drinks here.

Great friendly atmosphere always good food and staff are lovely. In particular Jess, who will make sure all your needs are catered for and does all she can to ensure she provides a happy environment for anyone that visits

Staff member Jess in particular goes above and beyond for her customers and you can guarantee you are always greeted with a smile and warm welcome through the door from her. A great team of staff, a lovely pleasant atmosphere and good food! A family favourite to eat out at for us.

Had a great time at Sixfields with the wife! Ali was nice and friendly, made the effort to clean our table quickly between courses. Was also well looked after by Lauren and Jonny with our drinks and pudding. Easy stress free dinner, just like it should be. Thanks team.

Called in at the sixfields on the off chance of getting a table with my wife. We were warmly welcomed by Johnny who although it was busy managed to find us a table. We were superbly looked after by Bonnie who couldn't do enough for us. We'll definitely come again. John Leonard

Great place, great atmosphere, friendly staff.

Called in after a very long journey for a chill out, drink and desert. We were warmly welcomed by Johnny who showed us to our seats and brought us drinks. Beth (a canny yorkshire lass) came to take our desert order. She was very pleasant and helpful. Desert arrived within 10 minutes. The staff also checked in us to see if everything was OK. As soon as we had finished Ali came to clear our dishes and asked if everything had been OK. I can't fault the staff at all for being extremely attentive and friendly. And desert was gorgeous. We had the apple crumble and chocolate fudge cake. It was just what we needed. We definitely will be back.

Not very good. We ordered two Sunday roasts with mixed meats. Meat was pretty much none existent, and dry, cauliflower cheese was undercooked, and you had to spoon the gravy out the boat. The meal was cold. And service was slow. At £10 each, I suppose you get what you pay for. Was going to book for Christmas, but not now.
