First takeaway from here after reading reviews. Good portion size however not long after eating the food 3 of us felt very unwell and spent all night unwell. Staff were lovely but disappointing food. Will not be returning

Excellent chicken curry and egg fried rice 🍚

I don't live in Northampton - but when I visit friends and family this is the takeaway we usually get. Its been consistently good every time I have visited (even 6 years ago according to my old review on here). We visited the other day and the chicken curry which is one of my favourites is always amazing with really nice chunks of chicken in and amazing curry sauce. Everyone else was really happy with what they got too. What a treat for all of us !! Thank you !!!

The prices for Chicken fried rice i saw online are slightly lower than what they are in store, I was not annoyed as it was only a 30p difference and I made a little joke about how I was lucky i brought more money with me and not what I thought was the exact total. He gave me some free prawn crackers with my order to say sorry for the inconvenience even though I was not complaining. The fried rice was amazing and a big portion too!!

About 40 years family been using bamboo, would recommend, friendly and pleasant service. food great.

Excellent spicy ans salted fried king prawns. Same with vegetable fried rice.

I often order from here and shared my card payment details over the phone but recently my card was fraudulently used and I believe it was due to this.

Service was good, food was fine. The soup was leaking a bit, so have to watch with that.

Compared to most of the Chinese takeaways in Northampton. This one comes out on top. Great food, great friendly fast service….. and they take card! What more could you ask for? Deffo worth the try x

Been eating here for over 30years...duck chow mein with 3 bit's of duck...really disappointed..refunded without any problems but put me off eating here again after so many good years of great food

Food arrived in 20 mins. Crispy chilli beef tasted awful. I will not order again.

Always order to my taste and so far havn't been disappointed. If they can't do it it they say so unlike others I have used. Deliveries 99% on time.

Had a bad blackbean sauce once (enough garlic to stun a frenchman), everything else has been perfect; customer service, delivery and the food too

Ist time i ordered from there omg. They forgot one meal. Prawn crackers made you feel sick on the first bite there were hard bits in them. Tasted more like cod liver oil tablets. The beef in the chow main was that chewy and tastless think it was from the local reject bin. The sweet and sour sauce taste like vinger more than sweet and sour. The chicken balls were more like marbles swimming in grease. Omlette and peas well i think the peas forgot to arrive there were about 5 at the bottom of the carton place under the ommlette. When i rang to complain the response i got was.you only ordered one ommlette. My order was 2 x ommlette peas with chips Two beef chow main Chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce. Never again will i use this place.
