Yet another excellent meal. Great quality food, excellent customer service, and great value for money. What else can I say.

Been twice in the last week alone - I'd forgotten just how GREAT this place is - Ali is a fantastic host & always very welcoming, full of advice if your not sure what to have too - Food arrived piping hot, tasty & very enjoyable - Will be using after the rugby again very soon! - If you are in the area its very highly recommended.

The first time I ordered which was a month ago, the food came and it was not hot and it was not very big order. (SO YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR REPLY NOW PLEASE AS IT MAKES NO SENSE) I would recommended collecting in person to be in with the chance if it being hot. because both times I've ordered it came warm possibly even cold but certainly not hot . The chap who answers the phone couldn't even take my address let alone the food ordered. This was the first occasion we ordered from here. Then On the SECOND time we ordered. We ordered £47 worth of food and they didn't ask if we wanted red or white wine. They gave us red wine, which we don't drink, unfortunately. Also we paid for poppadoms and they didn't tell us that we got free ones or should have received free ones with our order. The food is great but it NEEDED WARMING up again in the oven microwave. The chap who I was talking to couldn't spell Nearside and then it took 5 minutes just to GET to ORDERING the FOOD. On an order THAT WAS ONLY OF MEDIUM size So because of that it meant it was pretty much cold again. (ON MY SECOND TIME ORDERING FROM THEM THAT IS. THE FOOD IS GREAT BUT ONLY JUST WARM). Plus the gentleman from the restaurant on this occasion tried to BULLY me on my doorstep, into giving them a good review, himself and with another member of staff from the restaurant. THEY CAME to my door and aggressively attempted to tell me I had delete my review and tried talking me into giving him and the restaurant a good review whilst telling me that I was out of order for leaving a slightly negative review. HOWEVER I AM ACTUALLY AN ONLINE INFLUENCER ON GOOGLE LOCAL GUIDES. IT WAS AND IS STILL IS a very truthful and experienced review from a KNOWLEDGEABLE LEVEL 7 GOOGLE LOCAL GUIDES REVIEWER. (I only missed posting my first review due to being in California at the Google local Guides, seminar at their head office)

Just tried ordering for a delivery to town centre NN1 and they said delivery charge is £5! They must be having a laugh

We decided to try a new Indian takeaway as our usual one had started to disappoint. We decided upon the Indian Brasserie because of the reviews and we are so glad we did. Ordering and paying over the phone was easy and polite. The estimated delivery time proved to be accurate and the person delivering was so polite also. As for the food…..piping hot and of outstanding quality. You have yourselves new customers. Thank you, we will be using your delivery service again and also visiting your restaurant for a night out.

We had Christmas Day lunch it was absolutely delicious. My father who is 96 was so impressed he wants to go back, The service was excellent and the waiters so attentive nothing was too much trouble. Definitely book again this year

It’s been a long time since we had our last Sunday buffet lunch (due to pandemic) at this lovely local restaurant but it was great to hear they’d started doing it again. No sooner did we hear, we made a booking. Staff just as friendly. Service just as good. Food still excellent. Buffet lunch certainly takes some beating. I would urge anyone wanting to try something different on a Sunday rather than the usual roast dinner, then don’t hesitate to give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed!

This has been my chosen curry house in Northampton for over 10 years. The food never disappoints. The meat is always tasty and tender and the Currys are delicious. The staff are so friendly and more than willing to help and advise if you're looking for something in particular. The banquet night on a Wednesday is excellent value for money and it never compromises on taste.

I am giving this a 1 ☆ review because of how expensive it was or a bill was added up incorrectly. We had 1x chicken vindaloo £7.35 1 x lamb madras £7.30 2 x garlic fried rice £7.30 3 x chips £8.40 1x garlic Naan £3.05 1x Peshwari Naan £3.45 2x chapatti £3.50 1x curry sauce £3.15 6x poppadoms £4.80 4 x chutneys £3.20 3 x pints of Coke ??? 1x ½ of Coke ??? 1x Pistachio Kulfi ??? This came to £73.60 we don't understand why it would come to so much !!! The above indian minus the poppadoms, chutney and cokes cost us £29.90 for the exact same meal in Earls Barton. So we were shocked to see how much it came to at the Indian Brasserie !!! So this is our review In Scotland when they ask if you want any poppadoms they don't normally charge you for these as these normally come free with every takeaway ( with the chutneys) they normally just throw these in your takeaway for free, so when they asked us if we wanted any poppadoms we asked for two each, this Is customary whilst the chef is cooking your meal an appetiser before the starters and main course come out, we ordered our food straight away, we written it all down so it would be easier for them to understand us as a lot of people don't understand our fast paced Scottish accent, we said that our son would like curry sauce and chips ( the waited then said would you like the curry sauce over his chips so it would be easier) easier meaning he's only 8 years old it would be cleaner too which we agreed to, the chips came out separately to the curry, with our son being Autistic we explained how it was coming out which he was excited about, trying to explain to an autistic kid when it came out differently was a bit harder to explain, the food came out and all looked very presentable upon first inspection, my wifes garlic Naan bread was plain when it came out and not garlic, we said to the waiter and he sorted it out saying we wouldn't be charged for that Naan, when the garlic Naan bread did come out, it was oozing with butter and garlic but the edges were very burnt, we counted the amount of chicken pieces in the vindaloo a measly 4 pieces or 4 ½ so it was mainly sauce and 2 pieces of bombay aloo mixed through the curry. My wife ordered the lamb Madras same again 4 to 4.5 pieces of lamb which was quite fatty. The chips were store bought Steak cut chips in which you buy from Costco etc so nothing fancy. The garlic rice, was tasty full of flavour and large pieces of garlic through out. We came in at 7.40pm and within the hour we were out. We asked to take the remaining food away And walked up to the bar area to pay for our food, I had a bet with my wife I said jokingly it would come to £53, and my wife said £41.... when the waiter said over £73 !!! Our hearts sunk in our stomachs, we travelled to Wolverhampton three weeks ago to Cosmo World Buffet and it was cheaper for the 4 of us to eat there, than it was for 2 adults and one child tonight !!!! I could understand if it was an award winning Indian restaurant but it wasn't, the Indian Brasserie sign outside in chrome was dirty and your first instincts before entering a restaurant is a clean entrance sign and door so alarm bells started to ring before we even entered, in the hour we were there only 2 customers came in which was another alarm bell. The decoration was confusing a mixture of white paint and looked like a border of Kitchen worktop as a one foot border through out the restaurant, we have the same kitchen worktops as the border in our kitchen. Now for star ratings Cleanliness ☆☆ Friendliness ☆☆☆ Quality of food ☆☆ Price of food ☆ Presentation of food ☆☆☆☆ A miserable 12 out of 25 rating. Future improvements!!! Show the person the bill instead of saying that will be £73 when we added it up when we came home and it was less than £73 Customer Friendliness, instead of talking to each other at the bar ( two waiters ) talk to your paying customers, we did ask when our drinks were getting low can we please have refills, my wife had to get up and ask for another drink

I came in tonight for a birthday meal. We were offered poppadoms before we got menus so assumed they were complimentary, we were charged £12 for 8 and didn't know until the bill came. My brothers steak was boiled, and somehow crunchy, and the chips were hard in the middle. Mine and my mums meal were quite nice actually, apart from the naan, but the English dishes both my brother and partner got were very very disappointing. For the price we paid we just expected a little bit more. We would have returned just for the Indian food, but the charge of poppadoms that wasn't made known to us has put us off returning.

Had a Indian takeaway tonight from the brasserie in Northampton and it was awful. Normally the food is outstanding, but after spending £60 on food it was cold and all the chicken dishes was dry. After talking to the restaurant no apology was forthcoming. Will be definitely looking to order from somewhere else in future.

Chicken was overcooked and hard, in more than one dish. Popadoms were stale! Absolutely no customer service! Really disappointed!

I love the takeaways but so much better when you can visit and sit down for a meal. Tasty and relaxing.

We visited the resturant with a couple of friends, The staff were friendly and helpful. One of the party had "English" meal, whilst the rest of us had "Asian". All of the meals were good.

Paneer tikka taste is good but seems like it’s Coconut Tikka Masala. There is too much coconut in curry. Paneer Tikka is my favourite but coconut ruin it’s taste completely.

Great place for a nice curry with the family

Hi we read all the previous reviews and so ordered a delivery from here. Have to say everything was lovely and fresh. We ordered a chicken bhuna and a chicken biriany with side dishes, unfortunately the chicken did not seem of top quality and seemed to be from leg meat, So sorry to have to say that because of this it let the meal down and not sure if we would order again.

Excellent quality food every time. Tasty curries and good quality. The only negative is the meals are usually later being delivered than the time quoted (over an hour late last time!) although the food is so good, it’s worth the wait.

Decided to try Indian Brasserie with the EOTHO.. It was excellent. Food very tasty... so good we booked again for the following week. Again food was excellent. So good in fact we've booked yet again for my Birthday. Will be using it for takeaways too. Can recommend.

Went here on a Tuesday for my girls friend birthday nothing special just a quiet meal since lock down ended and if anything they have only got better, looks like they have added more to the menu, food still comes out fast and the staff are still as polite as ever. Last night was our third Indian Takeaway Delivery from the Indian Brasserie. Last night we ordered with friends. Our food once again was delivered at the time quoted. the food was hot and very tasty, can’t fault what we had. Two King Prawn Makahni, Parantha, Mushroom Rice. Our friends also enjoyed their vegetarian meal. This is now our go to Indian takeaway.

This was one of the few indians we have tried in the area. We visited on a Sunday evening, and bar a table of around 10 blokes it was empty. We was seated in a booth, with food on the wall and thick cobwebs.Service seemed ok initially. Meals were decent without being spectacular. The men sitting near us were shouting, falling on the floor etc. Nothing was said to them. On paying the bill at the end (using tastecard) we was shocked when it came to over £31 with discount (2 basic curries, 2 rice, 2 beers, 1 naan and tap water). When we use tastecard in other Indians in the area the bill is basically half that. We was charged £9 odd for a Bhuna, when it states £7.50 on the menu. The waiter was also very rude when we queried this, and wouldn't show the menu to see the proper price. All in all, it's not the best Indian in Northampton by a long shot. Why advertise an offer and then have an attitude problem when we try to use it? With the amount of money they charge they could do with doing the place up a bit. Overpriced and misleading offers.

Best Indian in Northampton visited many time and ordered take always as well also spent a few Christmas days at this restaurant the food is fantastic and good value family friendly wheelchair friendly and good for couples staff very friendly and you don’t feel rushed love it !

Never had a bad meal from here, the restaurant is clean and presentable, we were the only ones in there tonight (monday evening not long after they opened) they must get most of their trade through the takeaway service

The food was excellent and we were there for my husbands surprise birthday meal with with friends. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

11 of us went for a meal after watching Rugby and we were treated to an excellent experience with great food. Waiters were attentive throughout the meal and the quality of the food was said by all to be very good. Cost was as expected as all Indian restaurants tend to be mid range, but the menu was varied with a good selection of specials. The toilets were upstairs but there was a stair lift for people that need assistance.

Seven family members celebrating my 50th all seven of use agreed the food was amazing.. the only down side the soft drinks where all flat. Will definitely Return to this restaurant Again.

Our local Indian restaurant and glad we visited. Although it doesn't look the greatest, it's wonderful inside and the food is spot on. Has become my regular over the past few months.

So me and the wife normally use them as our go to indian takeaway and are never disappointed. So we decided to go there with our friends. We were lucky to catch them at a quiet time as the restaurant does get quite busy which should be a testimony in how good the place is in itself. So greeted by polite staff and given a nice presented table. Staff were very good the whole evening. Food was amazing and everyone loved there meals, as a man who prides himself in his ability to eat a lot even I struggled to eat the whole meal, a lot of amazing food can a guy complain? Yes I can give this restaurant will get 5* but the only slight annoyance that I had was the menus are getting a bit tatty. Food and staff are amazing and will go back time and time again!!! But please get menus that aren’t falling apart as this is one of your first impressions of your restaurant and you really are a great restaurant that does good food. See you again a few weeks times.

Decided to try a new restaurant for an Indian and rather impressed with the food! Wife always has onion bhaggi and says these are best she has in Northampton, Curry was really tasty and food was warm. Overall really happy and will order again!

Spent £40 on a curry got 12 popadoms with one onion salad when ordered more and one onion chutney when asked for 4 was told u will have to wait and be charged disgraceful I work in catering won’t bevusing again ever and will be telling ppl to steer clear obviously don’t give a second thought about the customer that had wait an hr for food

as a regular customer,sick and tired of getting wrong food,the rice is missing,no nan etc,tonight got my curry 2 chippattis.no pilla rice again,instead a bati pot 2 which u get free after u spend about 2o quid,phoned up.i never ordered rice,oh in that case why the balti pot if my order comes 2 10.50,piss off had enough.

Not the best Indian in the area - Prefer Baloo's. But this is on my doorstep. They offer a good selection for me - a vegan. Hubby on the other hand, loves his prawn vindaloo here - easily pleased :). Daughter enjoys her korma here too. Staff are excellent and very friendly. Will always come for a wander when peckish. But try others further afield time permitting.
