Great little pub, decent pint, didn't have food unless bacon fries count, will be back👍

It is a nightmare living near this pub. There's a fight resulting in police attendance almost every weekend. I get that this isn't part of the territory with pubs but it doesn't need to be.

Love this pub Darelle and Leon have turned this from an old mans boozer to a proper pub BUT some idiot has decided to stop Sky Sports! way to go to kill a pub! obviously don't want our 3k a month ..start of the season too...Totally nuts!

Taste before you pay. Had a bad pint tonight. Love Phipps, however what was offered tonight was watery. Took two sips, found it to be bad, needed to request something else because of that, but they point blank refused. Apparently someone else complained about the same beer, and yet my complaint wasn't worth their consideration "I can't keep giving free pints away," nor can I keep spending money on bad beer. I couldn't finish it, it was so awful, and just left it on the bar, and walked out. I paid £4 I'll never get back for 2 sips of rubbish, and won't return. In any case, caution advised - taste before you pay.

Stopped for a quick pint.... Stopped to see an old face. Nice atmosphere and.nuce refurb. Will be stopping by more often as regularly in the area.

Visited after the Northampton v Munster game. Good atmosphere and good beer.

Hit this place up after the Munster match last week (shocking performance by Munster) and the atmosphere was fantastic, what a lovely bunch of lads, great craic, the booze was flowing, and there was a decent food truck out the back. Would absolutely go here for future pre and post games.

Popped in on the way to watch the Cobblers met 3 Charlton fans and had such a good laugh the pub has been refurbished to a high standard without taking away the proper pub look

Went there for drinking with some friends after work. There was karaoke on and we had a nice drink in the beer garden.

A pub that still has a pub vibe, just a pub. Bit refreshing when all pubs are aim at food nowadays. Went in on a Friday for a quick drink and had a blast.

Tonight I bought two pints of coke (on tap) and was charged £7.30!! I nearly passed out and had to double check with the staff that I was being charged correctly. I've bought whole rounds for less in other pubs and still had change left over from £7.30! Drinks in Night clubs are cheaper than this place!

Was playing darts very enjoyable night even though we lost ,, landlord and landlady were lovely and very welcoming and the food was very very good best paella I've tasted xx

Nice little place staff friendly and good beer is a little expensive despite not being in the town center, I have eaten hear but not with children however the food I did eat was hot tasty and fresh, would go back again in the future.

A quiet place in an area considered to be past its prime (St James); but this Pub thrives on its regulars. Except for days when there's a match at the Stadium nearby, it's a great place to relax and enjoy your Pint. They do most Ales in addition to the regular Lagers.

Only had one beer on found the place on the dark side.

Visited this pub on 30/3/18 (Good Friday), they had comady act, I wasn't aware this would be on, but the artist was ranting the most sexist /racist /homaphobic jokes I have ever heard in many years, I feel the management of this venue should not have allowed this sort of act in this day & age, totally unacceptable!!
