Food was served piping hot with a smile! Excellent food and good menu with large variety of dishes to go at. Timothy Tailor’s Landlord to wash it down with! Couldn’t ask for more.

Good pub, But come 3-30pm school children arrive gets loud.

This was my worst dining experience ever! I had a voucher for a two course lunch. Starter options two! Mains veggie sausage and mash - Veggie salad or burger! Two dessert options. I know for a fact the buyer of this gift voucher paid at least £42. Completely appalling and a complete rip off. I went for burger as the main course and it was cheap meat. How does a pub/restaurant get a gastro pub title?

Grubby place. The toilets were disgusting and behind the counter looked dirty too. Staff got my order wrong and I had to double check my app order and show them to get them to correct it.

Ordered a takeaway was told it would be 60 mins that was at 5.30 waited 2hrs then the order was wrong so now waiting for a new order this is the second time so will not be ordering from there again. New order finally arrive at 7.47 pm 7/2/25

Chap servibg was very happy and helpful. Food and coffee were excellent. No issues here. Nice and clean. No napkins in either dispenser, the staff were too busy serving.

We ordered a takeaway for delivery. Told us it would be one hour. It didn’t arrive so we called them back to check and were told that it was going to be another hour. We said that if it was that long we would not pay for it. She then told us to F—- Off. disgusting customer service. We have had food from there before but will never use them again.

When booking the table at the restaurant in the hotel I advised I wanted to use my meerkat meals, unfortunately I wasn't advised on the phone then that I couldn't use that on the date I had booked for nor was I advised that they would be using a limited menu. Upon arriving at the hotel we were shown to our table quickly and had a choice of 2 tables. Unfortunately we weren't advised we needed to go to the bar to order drink and food so we waited a while until we realised there was no table service. We ordered our food and drinks then waited. The starters came out 45 mins after we arrived and we ate those up as they were very tasty. The mains followed quickly but unfortunately they were not up to the standard you would expect for the price you are paying. I ordered a med rare steak that came med/well I didn't eat this as I really don't like any steak that is cooked past medium. The only meal that was fine was a child's chicken nuggets and chips. The Mackrell that was ordered was nice and not dry but the rice it came with was the type you pop in the microwave for two minutes. Once again not what you would expect for the prices of the meals. Any time we went to the bar to order more drinks or ask for more sauces, no one was there at all. The staff seemed to have disappeared. Once I raised the issues the staff were happy to take the steak off the bill as I hadn't eaten it at all. The manager seemed happy to help and the wait staff were apologetic. I understand times are hard at the moment and I would usually account for this but there was only one other table in the entire restaurant so more care could/should have been given. The staff were happy to help and very friendly but we won't be going back.

Excellent food, lovely out in the country pub. If the Ten Fifty beer is on then deffo get a pint in.

We ordered and we waited 15 minutes fr my daughters simple double sausage egg sandwich my larger XL double cheese and sausage sandwich was ready way before and sat in the tray for ages. Only three members of staff all on a go slow and miserable. Others who came and ordered a long time after me got their orders before me. I will never use this burger king ever again.

Certainly NOT the warm Friendly Family pub when it comes to complaining ! Cheap Sponge pudding microwaved and covered in chocolate sauce passed off as Fudge cake ! And don't think about asking to take your dessert away with you if you cannot manage to eat it after your carvery ( elderly lady , with health issues ) as this is not possible unless you pay extra ! Yet they advertise take away food ! Do you serve vegan food ? Yes .... but don't think about having a plant based milk in your Tea or Coffee ! As this is Alien to them ! Even though the waitress though it was something they should really have ! ... so don't be surprised if you have looked at the photographs on Facebook of the food and think , oh that looks nice , it isn't necessarily WHAT you are going to get ! And if before you decide to come to a platform like this to complain / air your opinions , then they just block you ... not even an apology ... so they are not bothered one bit about their customers .... take your money and run , but if you like blood pouring out of your beef , dried up turkey and a pie with salty crust then this maybe just the place for you ! Oh and if you just want a simple sandwich it's £8 ... with nothing else ... and when I say simple ... if you fancy cheese your or any other veggie option your out of look ! I would suggest that you drive on by !

Just awful. Arrived 30 mins late and no apology. The Pad thai was pink and weird. Won't be ordering again 😩😩 😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨

Myself and my husband had the Sunday Carvery and I can honestly say it was amazing - the cauliflower cheese was the best I’ve ever had!! Highly recommended
