I biked past it I don't touch fast food crap

Get our food wrong EVERY time through the drive thru. Literally incompetent staff each time that can’t put a simple meal together and always has missing items.

Quick service, only three other people in there. No complaints

Waiting so long to order at the drive through I skipped ordering to go McDonald's and still got stuck. Not sure what's going on, poor show, nothing fast about the food 😕

This is our local KFC - has a drive through, is part of a set of services with a maccas, Greggs, fuel station, mini mart and Travelodge. Service here is sometimes quite slow but always friendly, and food quality has been pretty consistent

Waited for 45 mins to get to the order machine and then told to wait few minutes witch ended up being another 15 and everyone in the drive thru who hadn’t ordered gave up lost about 10 customers

The food was great, hot and fresh

Everything was great this time. Well packed from Drive thru and very fast. Improved very much from our last visit.

Not visited for a while as its usually not brilliant 😕 but must say our last visit there was fabulous food took a while but it was delicious, freshly cooked and hot.

Shocking!!! Asked for an 8 piece boneless bucket. Got 6 pieces of chicken , 2 boneless 2 chicken drumsticks 2 wings. NOT DIFFICULT IS IT!!!!!!!

Always missing chicken from order...

Food was as ordered. Unable to access online deals in store. Very poor customer service, staff at the counter didn't acknowledge us when waiting to order. I will not be using the restaurant again.

KFC, like most fast food style restaurants, you go for an expected standard of choice, food quality and wait times. On this occasion the wait time was a little protracted, the drive through speaker was rather inaudible and lots of interference not nice to the ear, and the chips for some reason were not cooked properly (hard in the middle). The chicken bucket however was just as expected and yummy. I’ll return there’s no doubt about that. Perhaps just a bad day. But a true reflection of my visit dictated in this review none the less.

Dirty never heard of wiping the tables and tye service is shocking so rude

Tables were all dirty despite there being hardly any customers; floor was slippery and the toilets disgusting. The filth put me off the food, which would otherwise have been quite tasty. Krushem milkshake wasn’t full and had no “bits” in, which they added when we took it back and complained.

Open till 2300hrs friendly staff .

Food was good as KFC usual however the lobby area was atrocious. All the bins were overflowing the floor was really weirdly greasy and the tables had not been cleaned.

The service was excellent fast and helpful. Unfortunately, our memory of KFC food from the past did not live up to the current fare on offer. Maybe we were unlucky, we might give it another try in the future

Not a lot to say really, does what it says on the tin. Does really nice fried chicken!

We had terrible service, we ordered delivery , driver came with the wrong order that was delivered within their guidelines, HOWEVER, this was incorrect so the driver returned to the restaurant to pick up our correct order, by the time this came it was stone cold, tried to get a refund but because the WRONG order was delivered within the guidelines our refund was rejected, total nonsense, a tip if this happens to you ask the driver to mark the incorrect order as undelivered otherwise like us your meal will be in the bin, utter disgrace and terrible service, apparently this is KFC POLICY

Food is always hot and orders are always right which is rare in the fast food industry it would appear. Service is always quick too even with big orders.

Previously not been that great but today was bang on..piping hot food, not greasy, good quality chicken and service with smile ( the chips ate still rubbish though )

Floors littered with bottles, food and puddles of liquid. Not one table clean, all covered with crumbs or sauce. Place was empty, drive thru and inside. Food was stale, straws given to us were dirty.

Nothing wrong with this place. Good hot food, normal prices. Super easy access off the motorway.

Friendly staff and good food. Only thing that brings the place down is entitled other customers who don't realize that chicken takes time to cook! If people make big orders it's going to take time to replace it.

Staff seemed more interested in getting delivery orders and drive through than serving customers inside. Can't fault the food though

Had to wait a very long time for chicken. Was offered a free soft drink while waiting which was nice...but given that chicken is the main thing they sell I really would expect it to be available!

Sorry to say but when buying a chicken wrap I found a peace of metal in the wrap which may of come from a cleaning product

Actually the best kfc we've ever had. Staff absolutely lovely especially considering they were working on Easter Sunday. 6pce bucket with beans and rice + chips and drink for £16.99 fed us all with left overs. Excellent value.

Manager (the man) has really bad attitude. I explained the chicken wings were missing last night and the gravy wasn’t used because of that. I even brought the gravy from last night. And guess what? The answer is my fault I should have come back to the shop to report this. So basically wings missing from last night not getting it back, and no replacement for the gravy either. Will not go again!!!

Get to the drive through when first opened and got told 20min wait on chicken, I mean come on what the hell is that all about! It gets worse at this Ashby Branch, not bothering anymore with KFC what a joke of a place, won’t be long till the place closes I reakon it’s gone so so down hill!

Drive through good, not the quickest but the food was his and fresh and tasty - new update for the second time failed to supply the chips with bucket meals - just check you have everything before driving home !!

First time tried this KFC, food was hot, fresh and very nice. Great selection of food and drinks. Facilities were clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful, didn't have to wait long, and we will definitely be back

Really busy at the time we went. Sat in and waited for food which took 15 mins.. and then they didn't put everything on the tray 🤣 in my opinion not enough staff there.

This isn’t a dig at Ashby KFC however I’m unsure why the food has gone so down hill over the last few years. Zinger supercharger tower box meal and two wings, what a load of rubbish! I remember a time you had to chomp on this chicken burger as it was so big and juicy, oozing with flavors!! now it’s like a deflated chicken. The wings looked like they was on a diet. For £10! For me KFC is rubbish and wouldn’t entertain it. Please see pictures.

One of the best, cleanest I've been in, food red hot. Very impressed with the branch.

Appalling drive through, consistently leave items out of the order, have had to telephone numerous times. I would suggest waiting in the drive thru and check every item of your order is there as they are useless! Have spoken to the manager previously after twice having a code for the last items that were missing and then they left other items out of that order and had to telephone again!!!

Great kfc till today ordered three box meals only received two will be checking the bag in future

This KFC branch doesn’t want to play according to how their employer wants them to; three times they refused an app order that I wanted to use to get my armed service discount, so I went to the i store order positions and there was no table flags to take so I had to go to the counter to collect my order. They don’t know the meaning of the word service.

One of the cleanest KFCs I've been too. Me and my kids travel to this one because it's nicer than our local. Good quality food and service.

Loved the food very helpful quick and efficient. Very disappointed food okay restaurant very untidy . Very poor meal chicken dry. Coalville is a lot better.

Absolutely horrendous, will NOT be ordering again appalling service and had to wait over an hour for food and when it finally arrived three quarters of it was missing so made a phone call to them directly for them to blame the driver saying get in touch with the driver to get him to travel back to ashby to wait again and then he come back to us! Well it's your fault KFC nothing to do with the poor driver. There wasn't even a way to get in touch with the driver what a shambles.

Not a bad KFC. Decent food. Much better than the Burton branch. However today we sat in and could hear the drive thru orders from the other side of the restaurant.

Best kfc I’ve been to. I only go to this one around me now. Nice friendly staff, chicken juicy and not dry. Never get my order wrong. Can’t complain.

Not bad food , But no Tea or un-fizzy drinks, also no serviette s to wipe your hands on, were more interested in "Take out meals & delivery,s. I was totally ignored for 10 mins at the counter, not even hello !! .

Went for drive thru but the systems were down, after a dash to the cash machine ordered in store. Got what ordered - boneless bucket, which was nice an hot and with everything cooked well. Have been before when chicken was a little tired after being under lights a bit to long, but mostly all is well cooked.

Icecreams was nice but the wooden spoons are horrible got a rubbish taste .we had a mint crushers drink and u could Evan taste the mint in the ice drink drink sorry it was tasteless eont be having them again.sorry.need more taste..ect the disabled toilet needed cleaning but nice and spacious.well done ashby team .

Been here a few times on way back from lount reserve. Very consistent. Fast service. Friendly staff. Food is always hot and order correct. Keep it up😄

Must leave one star as zero wasn't an option!!!!! Got home with our KFC to find it's not at all what was ordered. But obviously it was at the higher cost 😏 so missing half the food but charging a rip. Regardless ate it anyway, wrong burger, overcooked chicken. Just all in all a bad experience. After seeing the rest of the reviews, place needs shutting. Won't bother again.

Just drove home with my order to find the order was completely wrong, both burgers were wrong not a little bit like missing a hash brown but completely different to what we ordered yet they came in the correct box how does this happen? And the 1pc chicken was so so dry. The batter did not have any taste. It definitely was not the standard spice mix. Very very poor. If I didn't live 30mims away from our this KFC I would have driven back but it was not worth the waste in petrol. Won't bother again which is a shame as this KFC used to be very good.

Best place to get food on your A42/M42 trip

Ordered on Uber Eats. Food was really nice today. Called to get my favourite pieces of chicken & Pete the absolute legend sorted me out with fresh food coming with the leg pieces that I asked for. Defo 5/5 today! More than Happy with my order

Arrived at 19:00 2nd Aug 2023 to find KFC already closed, and staff sat down eating food inside with a sign saying come back tomorrow we're having a break for today

Consistently the worst KFC I’ve ever tried. 5 out of 5 times chicken was just burnt dark brown, dripping with oil and just inedible. The staff must really try hard to mess it up so much every single time. Last time I ever ordered from this place.

Order not delivered and no refund. Delivery person added another address and even though I know the people and went around there. It hadn't been delivered there. Delivery by Catalin...or rather no Delivery.

It is okey to eat there, standards could be better and the speed but overall better then the other KFC s in the area.

Good kfc. Fast, tasty, clean and you always have a table. I stopped several times for work lunch and they were consistent in the offering. Staff is friendly and efficient. Always happy to give me the reciept that the automatic machine does not manage to print.

So slow, the time before this at night drive thro all four cars waiting nothing moving they never moved the first car to car park to wait car behind me panicking, 10 minutes later we started to move as they finally got first car to move to car park, and I've been short on my order, and to far to go back, and asked for only chicken thighs if not I would have something else, yes the said, and I've not checked then get home no thighs, so always check,

Was told at the drive through that the wait would have taken 25mins for my meal. Decided not to wait and went to leave - however got stuck for ages in the queue to leave the drive through. This is the second bad experience with KFC. LAST TIME COALVILLE HAD NO CHICKEN.

First time I've visited this KFC and now wish I hadn't wasted my time with others in the area. Service was brilliant, staff were very helpful. Food was brilliant, very tasty and perfectly cooked. Bonuses: their icecream machine works and they got the order 100%.

Visit here when I pass through, food is good, not too long of a wait for your food. Toilets are clean. The only thing that let them down on my latest visit is nearly every table was filthy and we struggled to find a clean table. Overall, we enjoyed the food and left feeling satisfied and stuffed. I will visit again in the future.

Shocking delivery service took ages and food was missing and incorrect . Rang store direct they told me there's nothing I can do contact just eat. (Great ) considering my 2 year old daughter missing most of herDinner. drove down to the store to sort out with a not quite so manger Rikki. Wouldnt even correct the order after I'd paid over 40 quid and drove down there. Asked for the store owners complaint details and couldnt even give me that. Absolute joke.

Always slow service between 12-2 I get it's lunch time but every time you order via app/drive through or inside it doesn't matter what you order your waiting 15mins normally. Last time we placed a order my colleague ate his entire box meal before ours even arrived.
