Unfortunately this has now closed, and is a home. SAD to say as was a fantastic tea room. I believe it has been closed for a year or so and property was sold.

Fresh modern looking interior. Plenty of outdoor space. Staff friendly. Had Beef n Ale pie with mash n veg n gravy...exceptional.

Lugar agradable y acogedor. Comida casera cocinada, que era fresca y caliente. Las porciones estaban bien. La hamburguesa de pollo me sorprendió en cuanto a lo grande que era, y fueron encantadores para cambiar mis patatas fritas por verduras, que estaban muy bien cocinados y no mushy. No podíamos decidir qué vino, tenían una buena selección. Así que nos permitió probar una pequeña cantidad de un par. En general muy lleno, muy recomendable y los precios son muy acordes con las tendencias de restaurantes de hoy. 5 * botella de vino, 2 comidas y 2 postres - menos de £ 60

Been back and our thoughts are still the same.... What a lovely local pub this is. The service was good, food fresh and home made. We had the beef sunday dinner and it was really nice. Plenty of veg and gravy to go with. We will defo go back when next in the area. I actually forgot to take photos of my food. I would recommend booking.

Tables not cleared, peas cold and hard. Tea for 2 ...2 mugs with hot water and a tea bag plonked in. After 10 mins asked for tables to be cleared not one uncleared table.when we walked in. Not very inspiring menu. No tip this time.

Extremely over priced! The food was late and very cold. Paid over £70 for 3 meal! I had a tandoori and from the taste and texture I would say it was at least 2 days old. This is the second time I feel I have been ripped off by this place and can confidently say there will not be a third!

En general volvería debido a su ubicación en lugar de la relación calidad-precio.

Siempre disfrutamos de visitar y disfrutar de la comida. Recientemente tuvimos el almuerzo en la tienda de la granja cafetería / restaurante que era excelente. El servicio fue amable y rápido. Mis únicas quejas fueron el café, yo tenía un blanco plano que era débil y no realmente hecho como un blanco plano debería ser, y los precios son altos cuando se compara con otras tiendas agrícolas similares, es decir, Chatsworth por lo demás muy bueno.

Tuvimos un gran brunch con otros 40 negocios locales, nada era demasiado problema para Jamie y su equipo. Todo el mundo disfrutó de su comida y deliraron lo bueno que era y pidieron volver de nuevo. Doddington House itself was under refurbishment, but that didn't matter. Not sure where the Afternoon Tea is happening normally (as the tea-room parking was opposite the house (other side of the road) , but the entrance was not in the house. A more recent building at the side, where the farm shop, café and their parking are located. No problem. We were welcomed friendly and guided to our table. A pleasant atmosphere, with a simple, but nice decoration. Enough space regarding Covid measures. When entering we were asked if any diets had to be taken into consideration. And yes, 1 of us is vegetarian. So a Vegetarian menu was added. We were offered some time to have a look at the menu. It mentioned several AT-menu's (bread, cakes and scone, with tea or coffee. For the vegetarian one, humus was used (in stead of meat). Everything was served shortly after ordering, together with a big pot of fresh tea. We opted for the traditional Afternoon Tea Menu's. A lot of food, good food. The ladies asked a few times, in a friendly, not imposing way, if everything was OK and if we wanted another pot of tea, when assuming it was getting empty. We, appreciated very much. We will surely return. As mentioned thee was a lot of good food, the scones were really nice, with cream and jam. And we were offered a box to take left-overs home. Great food and service from burger king and Greggs. Toilets need attention. Staff are friendly.

Visitado por la tarde Té - £ 30 por persona. Esto lamentablemente no vale la pena el precio que me parece caro y por lo tanto espera algo un poco mejor que sándwiches secos. Mala selección de pasteles en el menú dulce, que era principalmente pasteles. Espero que puedan mejorar esto en el futuro, ya que es una buena ubicación.

I am allergic to Garlic and often struggle to find things to eat in restaurants. The staff here were so friendly, they checked through ingredients and even offered to tweak the menu to make me something. Even though the pub is a Hungry Horse, the staff made it feel like a local, rather than a franchise.

Me reuní para almorzar aquí ayer, fue agradable, el encaje está lleno de carácter y cálido cuando entramos, se encendió el fuego, el whisby whe off parece estar en construcción, pero no se sintió como demasiado intrusivo en la búsqueda de café, solo tiene que salir más allá de las obras y en la tienda de ropa y más allá de la caja de la izquierda, pasamos el letrero dos veces jaja El almuerzo fue encantador, tuve el panini de atún y h bby tenía la sopa y el sarnie, pero encantador, lo único que puedo decir es que el pero de ensalada / guarnición en el lado estaba seco, tal vez un poco de amor por el verde y un poco de hidratación con un poco de aderezo en mi haría una diferencia Creo que la vista sobre el río es fabulosa y nos encanta sentarnos junto al agua en verano con nuestros nietos.
