Unfortunately this has now closed, and is a home. SAD to say as was a fantastic tea room. I believe it has been closed for a year or so and property was sold.

My mum and I visited this lovely little tearoom. Delicious food - we had quiche which came with a small salad, coleslaw, potato salad and crisps followed by lemon drizzle cake and raspberry and blackberry upside down cake. The service provided by the lovely, friendly owner was excellent too. We will definitely return.

Looking for somewhere to meet for tea and cake somewhere roughly between Gainsborough and Lincoln, we came across this lovely tea room in a place we would never have expected! After reading previous reviews, we were not disappointed. We had lovely homemade cake and tea, sat outside in the garden. It was idylicc and what was more, very reasonably priced. We'll be back!

We have been here about 4 or 5 times now and it's always excellent. A local buisness with homemade everything is always worth your support. Today we had the butternut and sweet potato soup , very nice. Followed by cake. Fire on , homely feel. 😊

I had a wonderful lunch with my mum today at the Cosy Tea Rooms. Excellent prices and all home made. Vintage china, proper cake forks, loose tea, a selection of cakes baked fresh everyday - what more could you ask for. A delightful village location, it’s an excellent stop off point for cyclists and walkers. The owners are so unbelievably friendly and genuine. A fantastic family run business

Excellent service, excellent food and best of all excellent homemade cakes with plenty to choose from. The environment is very welcoming and friendly. Loads of attention to detail from the china cups and saucers to the little cake forks. This place is a real find. Will definitely be back soon!!

I have visited a few times over a number of months, never disappointed with the food (hotpot, jacket potatoes, cakes and more cakes). Served in the front 2 rooms of an old farmhouse, cosy atmosphere and excellent host who always makes us feel welcome. Excellent value for good home cooked food.

Having passed the tearoom by accident we looked it up on Trip Advisor and based on the reviews had a drive out. A lovely warm and friendly welcome from the owner who immediately made us feel at home. Real home comforts, scrumptious home made cakes and brilliant service at real value for money prices. What more could you ask for - we will definitely be going back and have no hesitation in fully recommending it.

Visited today as part of a mini pre-wedding celebration. Such a lovely experience. Food was excellent and we were made to feel so welcome with extra fuss for our little princess flower girl. Even though closing time was approaching as we arrived at no time did we feel rushed and there was even time for a play with the knitted tea set!

Lovely cosy little cafe. Home from home 2 separate areas with old fashioned charm ... in a village where you might not expect to find a cafe. . Friendly service and exceptionally fresh and well presented food. I had a cheese, tomato and ham toasty and my friend had delicious hand cut ham sandwiches ..both dishes with salad and crisps. Lus ecellent coffee.

Except cake of course. We have visited twice over the last few weeks. It's a beautiful place with lots of interesting things to look at. We had tea and cake, I had a soft drink. The tea is served in a tea pot with timer and tea strainer, not a tea bag in sight.

I first visited The Cosy Tea Rooms back in March and have returned numerous times taking different friends and family. The welcome is always very friendly and I love how the tea comes with an egg timer! The food is delicious especially the salted caramel cake (which is my favorite). If you want a lovely trip out for tea and cake this is definitely worth a visit - and the fact I can take my dog too is an added bonus!

This was my third visit and I have really enjoyed each and every one. The first time was with a friend and we just had a toasted teacake and tea each. The second time I went with my husband and friend and we had toasties and tea (I factually had a latte). Yesterday I went with my cousin and, although they don't really do afternoon teas, they actually did one for us and it was brilliant.- I rang to book a table that morning. Their homemade food is to a really good standard. They are so accommodating and you can't fault them. I can't wait for my next visit. Thank you so much and I wish you all success.

Have been here a few times now and service and food has been excellent. Owner greets you with a warm welcome and happy to chat if the place is not too busy. Light lunches are served through the day, very well prepared and tasty. If nothing else you have to leave room for the homemade cakes which are all delicious but my favourite to date is the salted caramel sponge cake. Great for families to visit and also for cyclists passing by looking for a pit stop - you won't be disappointed.

We spent a week-end in the village of North Scarle end of June. The village is a traditional village with all locals being friendly. On our walk around exploring the village we came across The Cosy Tea Rooms; a traditional country house which has been part converted to accommodate this business. We had tea and cake each. The tea came along with a timer; no tea bags in this pot!!! It was a perfect cup of tea right on time with the timer finishing, and being poured via a traditional tea strainer. The cake was so nice it was "to die-for". The owner is really friendly, and nothing is too much trouble for her. This is one of the best tea rooms you will find, and should not be missed just because it is not on a main road.

Went for Sunday lunch, nice welcome and shown to our table. The menu is on chalk boards around the walls. STarters were asparagus and mushroom croquettes they were absolutely delicious, creamy inside and crisp on the outside, served with a wonderful mushroom sauce. Mains roast beef and all the trimmings for me, chicken stuffed with spinach for hubby. The desserts were works of art, a blueberry tart for me served warm, I was in heaven and hubby had a pecan and maple syrup sponge with custard, wow it looked so light and he loved it. Real shame that we live in Hertfordshire a two and a half hour drive away. If we lived remotely nearby, we would eat here a few times a month. Parking right outside opposite the restaurant in a lovely little village
