The best restaurants in Melton East Midlands

Absolutely disgusting food. Poor quality, dry and very unappetising. The food was that bad we threw it in the trash. I’m used to quality food, and trust me this isn’t it.

All as ordered. Good portion sizes.

Wow, simply wow… what a Jem. Food is stunning the service was amazing and the pub itself is amazing. (And not a Arthur Pringle in sight just amazing waitresses - Fans of Auf Weidersehen Pet will know what I mean. But it is nice they have some pictures on the wall from when they filmed it in 1985) Will I be back…. Oh Yes.

Easily the best food in Leicestershire. Amazing location, loads of parking and a very friendly crowd too. Highly recommend the Pork as a main course.

A proper traditional pub , log fire , dog friendly 👌 & still have cheese and onion rolls 😋 on the bar freshly made & bar snacks. Toilets clean, good selection of beer's & drinks & friendly people. It's not a eating pub . Feel safe if you go in alone or 2/3 lady's by yourself. Nice little pub .

Love the atmosphere and staff, the coffee is actually the best in Melton. Staff very passionate about what they do, very friendly. A gem of a cafe in melton!

Easily the best pizza in town. Forget the big pizza takeaways. This is the real deal. Family run, great service and fresh ingredients. The only other time I've tasted pizza this good is in Rome itself!

The Nags head is a community owned pub that is currently available to purchase. There is a clearly a lot of pride taken in this pub by the current ownership with the toilets very clean. We only stopped here for a drink so can't comment on the food however it was well priced and smelt nice. There were plenty of inside tables in this sizable building but the outside area was not the largest. Overall it is worth supporting this community venture and will be back in this family friendly establishment.

Shocking experience at Amore, friends had said how nice the food was, the restaurant cold we asked for the heat to popped on in which the nice young lady did, we ordered a drink. 20 mins later we called a lady over to order, we ordered a portion of garlic bread looked like the end cuts of a French stick £5.50! I know that’s not particularly expensive but very poor. This garlic bread eventually arrived 30 mins later when asked where it was apparently the oven had broken down! I was brave enough to order the lobster tagliatelle my husband a steak. It again took ages to arrive and the restaurant only had 3 other tables in. The lobster arrived and was like rubber, on a positive note my husband said his steak was nice and the drinks for a restaurant the were reasonable. We won’t ever visit Amore again.

Perfect evening at Ferraris. It’s really improved since it changed hands a few years ago. Food is great and service is too.

Called in for late lunch, very traditional inside, menu as online, our food - pork pie, Stilton and ham - was very tasty and well presented, all at a reasonable price. Thank you.

I visited SoI for the first time tonight with friends. We had not booked and it was not a problem getting a table. We received a really warm welcome and the owner came to speak to us and recommended dishes for us after checking what sort of things we liked. He recommended a dish for me that was not even on the menu. I ordered this and it was superb. The food that we all had was delicious, the service was attentive and I will definitely be returning with other friends.

Called in just as they were closing on a Saturday afternoon. Really friendly service, freshly cooked (tasty) food, and plenty of it. We live away, but if we're ever in this area again, we wouldn't hesitate in calling in again. 5☆
