Ferrari's Trattoria in Melton

Visited on a busy Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy, but plenty of very attentive staff, so it was fine. Food orders taken quickly and food arrived promptly. Excellent selection of starters, pastas and mains. The pasta dish I had was very tasty, the best I’ve had in a long time. Would visit again, and would recommend

Birthday celebration mid week was fabulous and food was lovely . Risotto was gorgeous and the wonderful service was fabulous. Choices were varied and everyone came away 😊 satisfied and full!

I had a table booked for 10 people on the 10th of May. The service was amazing and the staff were very attentative. I pre ordered the food and again every persons choice was delicious. We all agreed we would come again and I would thoroughly this restaurant.

We were staying in Quorn for the weekend and decided to try this restaurant. We didn't have a booking, but the staff were very accomodating and found us a table. The food was delicious, very reasonably priced, and we were also given a free glass of prosecco which was a nice surprise. Great food, great staff and a really nice restaurant. We had a fantastic evening for my daughter’s birthday. The staff were terrific: warm, welcoming, friendly and when they heard it was her birthday they gave her a lovely cocktail on the house and put a candle on her dessert. The food was incredibly delicious. We each had different starters, mains and desserts. We all declared each course more tasty and delicious than the last. It was truly a great and very pleasurable evening and we look forward to going back again.

We dined here for Mothers day March 24 as a party of 8, Roberto and his team served us. The service, atmosphere, quality of food, variety, freshness and temperature of food was simply 1st class. Can't think of any where else within Leicestershire that touches this place. Don't just read my review.....go and experience it for yourself.

Meal out with friends for my 50th I haven’t been to Ferraris for a few years and was keen to try out after new owners have taken over. The restaurant has had a make over and feels fresh, a friendly welcome and quickly seated and drinks offered. Wine was lovely and a good recommendation I had prawns for a starter and they were really tasty , friend had calamari and reported they were fab too. We all had pizza on this occasion and it was light and lovely and I would definitely recommend , when I come back I hope to try some of the fish dishes as the whole menu was tempting ! Finished off with tiramisu and not a scrap left on the plate I can’t wait to go back again and would recommend to you all !

We have been coming to Ferrari’s for over 25 years and recently visited with the new owners. We were thoroughly impressed with the food and service, the team have really elevated the food with modern classic Italian cooking. We look forward to many more years under the new owners :)

Ferraris exceed all our expectations, from the moment we got there the service was amazing, friendly and attentive and they ensured that our dinning experience was great! The food was delicious, I had a Seafood Risotto which was to die for, my husband enjoyed a tasty braised lamb with roast veggies, and my son and his wife were delighted with their Beef fillets. Every dish was fantastic with a decent size, and the desserts were just mouthwatering. So we had a memorable dinner experience and we are now planning our next visit to Ferraris.

Came on a Saturday night and the place was full - several large parties in Christmas spirit and the atmosphere was great - lively and full of energy. This reflected the host who is a human dynamo and eager to please. The food is authentic - think rustic Italian but with a veneer of sophistication - so while all the favourites are on there (pasta, pizza etc.) the sauces/accompaniments may not quite be what you're used to - but they'll be close, with a twist. The Lobster Ravioli was superb - again rustic roots but with an upmarket spin that brings the sea to your plate. Service was good and despite being very busy reasonably quick, and the staff were great fun while having to work very hard! Will definitely be back - loved the food, the atmosphere, the service and especially the price which seemed very reasonable for such excellent food - so why wouldn't we?

We went last night 1st December for our daughters 25th Birthday first impressions as we walked in quite nice however they wanted to seat us in a dingy corner next to a UPVC door with barely any lighting so would have been hard to see our food, could tell they weren’t impressed that we asked for another table which was then much better next to the fire straight the way felt pressured for time as waiter told us we were on a 2 hour time slot my daughter was presented with a glass of champagne for her birthday which was nice all food was delicious (with exception below) good portion sizes I chose the lobster linguine which the pasta tasted really good but the lobster was very chewy overcooked and I had trouble eating it it was curled up and out of it’s shell with empty shell on the plate and so not presented that well I should have said something at the time but didn’t want to spoil my daughters evening ..when it come to the bill I hadn’t realised my lobster was £35 because there was no price on the menu it was not worth that due to how it had been over cooked when I told the waitress she just flailed her arms up like saying ‘well tough no apology or acknowledgment which i thought was very rude so for that we will not be returning all in all not bad but not good for the prices being charged

Food was average, service failed to impress. Manager looked like he would rather be somewhere else. This place has lost its authenticity and warmth it felt more like a diner than a dining experience.

Booked our table 4 days before upon arrival didn't have any record of our booking. It was 6 pm Saturday night so they had just opened but they managed to squeeze us in despite the restaurant being 90% empty wine was nice food was nice but main course came far to quickly after our starters. Still a good restaurant but service needs to be looked at.

We had a great meal, good variety on the menu for all courses. We had starters and a main but no dessert. Service was very good, friendly. Freshly cooked meals, very tasty. This was our first visit so a good find. We will definitely go back but probably have a few less drinks ! Soft drinks are £3.50 each , which pushes the bill up alot. And a small cider was £5. But probably the same in alot of restaurants to be fair.

This place was a perfect venue for our long awaited date night. The ambience was perfect. The food was amazing fresh and tasty couldn't find fault in any of our 3 courses. We recieved excellent knowledge on which wives would be best suited to our dishes from the lovely host. Staff were very professional and were happy to serve. Very friendly and can't wait until our next date night at this lovely restaurant
