Love the atmosphere and staff, the coffee is actually the best in Melton. Staff very passionate about what they do, very friendly. A gem of a cafe in melton!

Stopped here for an unplanned drink with our daughter, the coffee was great , the staff were amazing when she dropped her drink and even gave her a free one in a cup. The toilets were clearly made for people with kids and family friendly. The menu looks impressive.

Bright & clean coffee shop with more!! We had coffee, my daughter got a strawberry daiquiri, and her partner got a chocolate milkshake. I also indulged in an orange & nut flapjack, which is really yummy! Great place to stop & recharge while strolling around Melton Mowbray!!

It's a coffee shop that does exceptional coffee. It's the best in the East Midlands. Italian in quality, presented well, made with passion, care & attentional to detail. Regular guest coffees are great & their house blend is of the highest quality. Food is all home made cakes are wonderful, & the Sunday breakfast knocks the spots off anything else available locally.

I've tried to experience the new coffee shops in Melton but ended up walking out and coming back to More. The staff are friendly and efficient, the food is delicious and fairly priced, delicious coffee and relaxed atmosphere with a nice garden when the weather is good. My favourite place in Melton!

Been going to More Coffee Co. for many years now and have always loved it in there. The staff, coffee, food and atmosphere are absolutely fantastic and they never disappoint. It is a very nice place for all ranges of people and the vibe is chill. The food is top-notch, I would recommend the tuna wrap with pepper and cucumber or the cheese and pumpkin scones. The selection of food and fresh sweet treats are amazing, and when paired with their perfect coffee it goes down a treat every time :). I would also recommend the music night they have, a good way to catch up with mates and have a good time :)

Popped in quickly before college and I was amazed by the efficient and friendly service, each person that walked in got a smiling welcome. The music was diverse and funky, and it was a very good experience.

Been here a few times now and the coffee is so good! Just sampled the lunch menu as well, a couple of sandwiches, a vegan sausage roll and a couple of cakes which were all delicious. Will definitely keep coming back here, lovely to sit out in the courtyard too.

Had lunch with a family member, ordered coffee, a bacon sandwich and a toasted sandwich. Good service and really good coffee. Food arrived and a bit disappointed that the toasted sandwich was not toasted ! but she did not want to make a fuss !...

Visited for the first time and wont be the last. Everything was very "covid friendly" and we enjoyed a toasted chicken lemonnaise sandwich in the beautiful garden! Perfect fot a quick bite to eat from a small selection of sandwiches. Will hopefully be back to...

Melton as the 'Rural Capital of Food' has lots of great variety of things to do/see and places to go. We have some great independent businesses for visitors to find something different. Once you've had a good look around its many hidden gems you'll find MoreCoCo right in the town centre. It's the ideal place to sit down either inside the warm welcoming cafe or in the lovely suntrap outback on a nice day to enjoy great coffee and a range of delicious lunches/breakfasts or sweet treats.

I visit More Coffee on a regular basis because the coffee is excellent and the cakes are exceptional. The scones are very tasty and the cakes are superb, the Carrot Cake and Victoria Sponge are eaten regularly. Since the coffee shop is again run by members of the original staff, their warmth and sincere manner make it a pleasure to visit.

We stopped of at More Coffee co as it look like a quaint county town cafe. As you walk in there is a wide variety of homemade cakes, I was mesmerised by the lore of the Chocolate orange cake. That and a pot of Earl Grey what could be better. The Chocolate orange topping was to die fore, a wet and sticky topping, but what lay underneath was a dry sponge, it resembled a rich tea sponge. Good job I had tea to wash it down. My wife had lemon drizzle and again a dry sponge, maybe the way the cock cooks them but cake sponge is normal moist..

We were so looking forward to our coffee and cake morning ! Unfortunately the cake , 2 of us had the Victoria sandwich and 1 had the chocolate slice , was very dry . In fact my friend asked for some poring cream to make the cake palatable ! The service was on the whole ok although on our 3rd lot of drinks the fruit tea was forgotten about and we had to go inside to ask where it was. The staff in general were lovely . It wouldn’t stop me visiting again , although not for cake!

I'm new to the Melton Mowbray area and visited More Coffee Co yesterday and had a delicious cheese and pumpkin seed scone and a berry smoothie. Service was excellent; very speedy and attentive, as soon as I walked in I was greeted and offered assistance with my shopping trolley! Lovely modern atmosphere, a great find!

Heard that this coffee shop had just re-opened today, visited for lunch and found that some of the staff had bought the business from the previous owner. Great coffee and lovely toasties with friendly service. Our children (ages 6 and 12) were well catered for, with reasonably priced kids food and drinks, plus games and colouring activities for them in the "kids corner". Looks like we will be visiting regularly from now on!

We have been to More Coffee Co in Melton Mowbray quite a few times, and visited again today on the first day under it's most recent ownership. I have to say, it's the friendly people that make it such a great place. Nice refresh of decor, lovely big farmhouse table for larger groups and comfy seating. The menu is just perfect, with the best (local) bacon sandwiches ever! Can't wait to try the jacket spuds next time. And the pork pie was superb, according to the member of our family who tried it.

We were passing through Melton and 8n need of coffee and we stumbled across this cafe. Delic coffee and nice homemade cakes too. The service was friendly and prices very good.

...... but won’t be our last! Popped into Lloyd’s bank and when asked, the cashier suggested ‘More Coffee Co’ as a place to go to for a coffee whilst looking round Melton Mowbray. She wasn’t wrong - the coffee and mocha were hot and lovely but the best bit was the warm homemade cheese and sunflower scones, as my partner said, these are to die for! The staff were friendly and it was spotless. Looking forward to our next visit.

Recently working away in Melton Mowbray. Thought it only offered Pork Pies! More Coffee Co. was a great little coffee shop, sorted me out a great lunch and a smashing coffee... being in the hospitality industry, for may years, places like this are few and far between. Catering for all. Seems to be a friendly family run business. In a world of Starbucks and Costa the competition in tough.

Beware of coffee size. A large Americano at £2.30 is actually a Medium size at other coffee shops. i/e At Costa Coffee a medium Americano is £2.30 and the amount of coffee you get is more than the Large at More Coffee. The owners need to be more honest and state the coffee size is actually a Medium.

Forget the faceless overpriced coffee chains. This coffee shop in the heart of Melton Mowbray is very simply, the best! A small business offering a friendly welcome, great selection of coffees all ground on the premises. Homemade cakes, snacks and light meals using the best of ingredients. Forget the rest, try the best, corny but true ;)

Wow this place is transformed from the dark and dreary place it was! A huge improvement.... and for a very infrequent coffee drinker, I am amazed at how much I love their coffee! I have visiting a few times over the last few weeks and will continue to use this as my regular meeting place!!! Thank you.

This was my third visit after the fabulous refurbishment and I’ve been clearly impressed with the new owners improvements ,However I was mortified today when a couple came in with there dog ,which decided to foul on the floor ,Not the nicest thing to watch while having your coffee n cake

I visit here often with friends. A very pleasant atmosphere with excellent coffee and cakes. They also do hot snacks, I.e soup or bacon sandwiches, but I'm a tea drinker and I can get a lovely pot in here.

More Coffee is a relaxed and very friendly café. They have a wide selection of speciality coffees; I had one of the best cappuccinos ever, followed by an equally good de-caf version. The menu offers lots of choice. The food and cakes are all freshly made, using quality ingredients. The beef burger I had (which the menu says you have to wait 15 minutes for) was definitely worth waiting for, as it was delish. The carrot cake was good. Also, the rocky road, and Victoria sponge cakes I took home were very good. They give you huge slices of cake. You can get gluten free food too. And veggies will find lots of choice. The prices are right for the quality and quantity of food you get - I felt I got excellent value, and really enjoyed my lunch here while reading the paper.

Visiting the town, we stopped here for a coffee mid-morning - a lovely relaxed place - friendly staff who brought over glasses of water and two good espressos. We sat in comfy chairs by the window - with an array of papers and magazines to flick through.

Visited with a group of friends - and felt we just had to sample the local delicacy - Pork Pie, of course. Supplies had run short but that didn't stop them - a member of staff volunteered to go out and secure more pork pies so that we could partake! That's real customer service - and it was delicious. Thank you.

My daughter and her husband took us here for lunch, and we decided to sit out in the yard behind. The menu offered a good choice and there were a few options that I wanted to try. The food came promptly, and was plentiful and very tasty.......and reasonably priced.

Lovely food and great staff. A place to sit awhile and enjoy a quality coffee. We often meet up with family for lunch and the fresh toasted sandwiches are my favourite but plenty to choose from. Accessible and welcoming for wheelchair users and pushchairs drivers

On our first few visits I was very excited to have found decent coffee in Melton... but with each visit the experience has proven to be more patchy, patronising and even at times manipulative.

Being a small premises it soon fills up there are lots of regular local customers using this cafe that speaks for itself a small choice of cakes are always available and tasty to have with your coffee

We always like to support local businesses not chains, but after visiting a few times we have always had the same sort of service, the staff are not friendly unless they seem to know you, which is very disappointing, we have been quite a few tines and it is always the same, the last time will be the final chance the two chaps are very unwelcoming, the only friendly person is the blonde waitress, which is a shame as the coffee is very good, but we will take our business elsewhere from now on.

Excellent coffee I swear the barista made each one with love! Fantastic toasties too, with a quarter pork pie to boot. Topped off with great cake. The exterior of the cafe doesn’t do the interior justice. Would def go back.

Extremely busy on this Saturday . The coffee was great ,the venue relaxing even though busy . However seemed to be disorganised as we never did receive our scones . Not withstanding this the staff are pleasant . Venue in ideal location and prices are compedative . So this over site may have been a one off so will return again .

The only place you can get a decent flat white or cortado in the area. We enjoyed the novelty of a decent coffee with a slice of pork pie, but would have appreciated more sweet pastry options (croissants, danish etc).

Good coffee, pleasant service and a comfortable, welcoming environment. What's not to like? Well the décor is rather Spartan but this a place to chat and linger. Ideally located right in the centre of town opposite the market square.

After visiting this coffee shop several times I must say the coffee and cakes are wonderful,I feel the only thing that lets it down is the overall appearance inside . The place could do with a good freshen up of paint and a clean .i notice the skirting boards ,toilet door and general appearance of the kitchen area needs attention.this in my opinion would be a asset to the shop .there are lots of scruffy mats at the door areas too that could be replaced with fresh laminate /carpet throughout. Come on more coffee give it a try

Great coffee and exceptional tea combined with a range of delicious cakes and a good selection of sandwiches etc are served up by the friendly, welcoming staff. Free WiFi is a nice bonus, so surfing or working with a great coffee and cake or lunch, all at a nice price, this is the perfect place to be. We visit often, so I can vouch,for it! If you visit Melton Mowbray, call in and enjoy!

We stopped at Melton Mowbray on our way to Rutland Water and decided to try an independent rather than one of the big chains (I do love Costa but you have to be adventurous sometimes). My cappuccino was not only a work of froth-art but the coffee blend was super-delicious. And the home-made cakes... heavenly! All this served by a couple of very affable baristas (owners?) with a wicked line in customer banter. I would have liked the coffee to have been served a bit hotter but I appreciate that's just a personal preference.Keep up the good work fellas, I'll be back as soon as possible!

A small child friendly coffee shop whose proprietors care about their customers and the blend of their coffee. Light bites are available, and the homemade cakes are lovely, too.

On the last Friday of the month, More Coffee, as well as being the best coffee shop, becomes the best burger restaurant! Yummy home made burgers and live music, what is not to love. Mark does takeaway too if you can't stay!

A no frills coffee shop carrying a good range of sandwiches and other snack type food. I had their platter which came with quarter park pie and two wedges of the most creamy Stilton. A nice side salad and the most delicious soft brown bread and butter. My wife had a coronation chicken wrap which she described as fantastic. Very tasty chicken, fresh soft wrap and another nice side salad. Coffee was lovely. Mild, prepared well and looked a work of art (how do they get that design on the top????). Clearly they have a lot of regulars which probably says it all. My advice? If you are looking for good, locally prepared snacks and excellent coffee at a fraction of the price of their neighbour 'big boys' - give this place a try, you won't regret it.!

Dropped in here on a visit to Melton. Really worth finding in the Market place. Warm greeting by friendly staff and the place was a hive of activity. All the cakes looked wonderful and we were not disappointed in the ones we chose. Great service and great value too!

Very friendly place serving fab coffee (refills only £1)Usually have a toastie which comes with salad and crisps. Great snack when you want something light for lunch. Looking for somewhere for a break from the wonderful Victorian market, this was a good recommendation. Very busy, which was a good sign, we only stopped for coffee. which was lovely, as was the friendly service. Fortunately they sell the coffee beans in bulk, so now have some at home to enjoy as well.

We've certainly tried many coffee houses across the country and More Coffee Company is leaps ahead of the game compared to any high street chain or other independent outlet for freshness of blend, professionally textured milk and lovely smooth flavour.The decaffeinated blend has the same top notch quality as well.The coffee is skilfully prepared and beautifully presented every time with an individual design flourish and served with a smile. The pound refill is extremely good value and a great idea.We feel special every time we visit, which is a lot, and the venue is cosy with a very friendly atmosphere. A big thank you to Mark, Janine, Ben, Andy, Amber and Megan for fabulously consistent service and for making More Coffee Company the perfect first choice for us; our non MeltonIan pals that come and visit love it too. Came in for a take out coffee, acknowledged, friendly staff & nice relaxed environment. Service was quick considering how busy it was, all staff seem to be working as a good team which means service was quick. Not sure which coffee shop that other review about 'slow service' was about??
