Lovely family run business. Good coffee and food was flawless. Friendly, helpful staff, nice atmosphere! Would recommend!

Sunday lunch visit. Choice of Roast Beef, Pork, Chicken & Nut roast for vegetarian option. Plus if you enjoy mix there is a larger option with 2 meats. The beef was tasty, served with green beans carrots roast onion and broccoli, roast potatoes, mash and home made Yorkshire puddings and thick gravy. Wasn’t sure on the portion size when it came out, but truthfully was plenty and decent variety of vegetables. Friend had nut-roast, with the trimmings and side of cauliflower cheese which we shared. The vegetables were cooked to perfection as was the whole dinner. Complimented with a decent bottle of red wine. Would recommend and go back again. Definitely going to be a winner in Melton

Been here quite a few times for brunch and is consistently good nice coffee tea a bit on the weaker side good quality products being used and it shows fab brunches / breakfasts

Been going to the Grantham one since it opened - always great work and great staff who go the extra mile to get to the know their customers. Having moved from Bingham to Frisby near melton, we were delighted when we heard they were opening another restaurant. Management even better here and always remembers us when we come in - her and the team are a credit to the brand!

Excellent Sunday lunch.Great friendly staff,loverly atmosphere.If i had one minor complaint it would be.If you are sat under a speaker the piped music is not really back ground music.It can be too loud which makes conversations difficult. In my opinion of course.

The kitchen and coffee is the best place in Melton Mowbray the coffee is so lovely by far the best in melton I will be going in on Monday can not wait now I so recommended keep up the good work lov you allll

Visited for breakfast on Father's day. We enjoyed the full works breakfast ,the banana pancake stack and the Eggs royale. Will definitely return ..Next time to try Sunday lunch.

Just been in to Melton Mowbray and found Kitchen and Coffee by accident. What a find, had probably the best roast dinner I’ve ever had, reasonably priced for what were obviously quality ingredients. I had the Beef (medium) and my wife had the Chicken, all delicious. We were also lucky because they had on live music from a male guitarist who was just brilliant. Our server said that this is something they do from to time. If you live in Melton, lucky you. If you go to Melton give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

This place was an absolute gem when it first opened a year ago, unfortunately ate there yesterday to see the prices have gone up , £19.99 for the works Sunday lunch is now £24.99!!! It’s a cafe and you have to queue to order , I don’t know any restaurants that charge that much and you get table service in a restaurant . Unfortunately we won’t be coming back at these prices, 30 minutes drive to a very expensive cafe has no appeal now. The staff are absolutely amazing and the food is great but you are a cafe not a restaurant and this should be reflected in the price especially if you have to sit next to the dogs while eating £24.99 lunch!

My wife and I usually visit once a week for a coffee and a scone or similar for lunch but were looking for something a little more today without going for a full lunch. I asked if they do bacon sandwiches and they said yes, so I ordered one each with a regular coffee. The total was nearly £22 and so I queried the bill, thinking perhaps a button had been pressed twice. No, all was in order but because the sandwiches were not on the main menu the items they had been charged individually, £1.25 for a slice of bread, £3.30 for a rasher of bacon, so each sandwich came out at £7.45. Sadly, when they arrived the sandwiches were not great, the bread being very cold as it had been kept in the fridge. When I was leaving I said to the manager that I didn't think the pricing of individuals items as they had felt right, as what we had just did not seem to be right for the price we paid. I was told that this is how they do it and they had recently had a fire and they needed to recoup the costs. The upshot of the encounter was that I was advised not to order a bacon sandwich again and I agreed it had been a learning experience.

Pleasant staff. Large menu. Unfortunately the bagels were stale and the ingredients were dry. Had to ask for cutlery, and condiments. Shame, because the cafe is nice. It has put me off returning.

The service is amazing and the food is incredible. The menu has so much choice, there’s something for everyone - even ordering off different menue, everything comes out together and quality is never compromised!

Had a business meeting at this venue earlier today and what a place. It was busy with a really good vibe. Only had a coffee, but saw the food coming out and it looked really good, fresh and could hear customer compliments. Good menu, good prices and each member of staff I dealt with couldn't have been more accommodating. Great venue and I look forward to my next visit. Keep doing what you are doing, it's a little gem of a place!

Popped in for coffee and checked out menu so return visit made a few days later for lunch. Excellent food, prices reasonable. Staff welcoming. Quick service. Definitely recommend.

5 stars all round.. We decided to check this place out after hearing so much about it. Coffee was perfect, the food was incredible and the service was excellent! Great to see a well run family business on the high :) The Kitchen and Coffee is a little gem and a great addition to the town.

Popped in for breakfast having looked for an independent spot. So glad we did. Prompt,sunny service having ordered at the counter. We ordered a tea, a coffee , a sausage breakfast bagel and a bacon breakfast bagel. Veggie / vegan options available as well as the full English. Both bagels were excellent- meat locally sourced- my bacon was delicious. Stokes quality condiments offered as complimentary ( expensive!). Even a newspaper available - hard copy to boot - remember those!!! Clean seating area and toilets. Great atmosphere throughout. All in all an excellent family run business. Lunch choice looked good too. I hope this is establishment is well supported.

Kitchen and Coffee hosted my baby shower and were absolutely brilliant! There was 30 of us who all ordered different food and the food came our together, warm, and super tasty! The staff took such good care of us, making sure that we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Lots of guests hadn’t been to kitchen and coffee before and were so impressed with the food and the atmosphere, and commented on how they would definitely be back! 10/10 would recommend 😊

I've been to Kitchen and Coffee five times now, four times solo with Ozzy, my dog and once with Ozzy, but with some work colleagues too. Each time has been a great experience, dog friendly and accommodating, friendly staff, a great atmosphere, lovely coffee and some of the best cake I've ever had (and I've had lots). Highly recommended and definitely worth a visit.

Brilliant food, quick amazing service. Lovely staff. Perfect for a date, family outing. They have great offers on cocktails, frappe and even a mummy morning! 10/10 recommend

I have visited as a solo guest and as a group several times over the course of my stay in Melton. Every time I have visited I’ve been greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. The food is of high standard and the Sunday roast is the best I have had in Melton. Also the breakfast muffins are quite special. The coffee is excellent and there is range of cold and hot drinks to choose from. It has a lovely atmosphere. There is a dog friendly area and our furry beasts are always looked after by the attentive staff. Melton has a few coffee establishments but this is by far my favourite. I can’t wait to come back.

I visited with my girlfriend last week just a few days after kitchen and coffee had opened. The food was amazing, the service was first class and the atmosphere was great. We had a lovely chat with the owner and it was really refreshing to see him cleaning tables himself and making sure that everything was all ok for the customers. He even brought us over extra napkins without us having to ask. Not many owners are prepared to get hands on these days. It’s little touches like this that can make somewhere stand out. I will definitely be back as soon as possible and have already recommended to friends.
