Booked on for 1 night. Lovely place and good food. Booked into king room.. room very chilly . Shown to room . Lovely room . Shame so chilly

I’ve been going to pie night for over ten years and go for special occasions say twice a year! First time under new management! 19-2-2025 gutted my steak pie had 3 bits of steak in it the size of a pound coin ! Absolutely rubbish ! Genuinely gutted I used to love going and having some lovely pies ! That’s the last time for me ! £14 don’t waste your time

Pie night ! Went with the family, been quite a few times now. Steak and stilton pies are to die for. If you are in the area or fancy the trip its a must, never dissapointed.

We went for the Sunday lunch menu. The food was really delicious and presented so well and plentiful !The crumble was a little watery,but the service was outstanding! The waitress was hospitable and friendly. A lovely, traditional pub which also has modern elements. Just perfect.

Best pies around and such good value for money! Lovely waitresses and front of house, definitely order the pie if you visit!

The best sunday roast I have ever had at a pub! Was all gluten free apart from the stuffing. Even had homemade gluten free Yorkshire pudding! Would highly recommend

Good selection of well kept ales and very polite staff. Friendly locals and enjoyed the chats.

Arrived here after a long journey looking forward to some good food and a relaxing atmosphere. We were not disappointed as the food was exceptional 👌 Many thanks Cheney arms!!!

We came here for lunch whilst visiting friends and family in the area. We were not disappointed. The food was reasonably priced, but absolute delicious and lovingly made. Portions were generous. Flavours were outstanding. Service was wonderful. You always know it’s going to be good when the car park is full and it’s busy inside! We all had food envy of each other’s choices

What a great find. I was working nearby and needed somewhere to stay. The room was lovely, everything i needed. Couldn't get the tv to work at first, i asked and they came up amd replaced the tv, fantastic service. I had a great sleep and a lovely shower in the morning. 100% recommended..

Stopped in for a drink after walking from Syston. Can't comment on the rooms. Only had some chips, but if that was a taster of the food, it will be amazing.

The epitome of a good English pub. Gorgeous food, amazing drinks choices in the most picturesque setting. Couldn't ask for better. Plus the staff are lush. Family and dog friendly which is a must for us. Can't wait to go back 🤩

Visited here last week and what an absolutely amazing meal we had I had the perfect fish and chips other meal was also amazing was such a nice atmosphere and was so accommodating. Will definitely be back again 5*****

We live 10 minutes from the Cheney Arms and it's our 1st visit after being out of the area for 12 years (never been before).🙄 What a great little place, quienisential English pub, nice atmosphere, lovely bar, friendly staff. We will return😊

Very welcoming and accommodating staff (and Lizzie the dog). Spacious, nicely decorated room. Beautiful countryside setting. Lovely food 🙂

Group of 9 went for Wednesday pie night. They were very accommodating at the time of booking of all the dietary requirements. Service on the night was excellent and the pies were just fab! Brilliant value for money and we will definitely be coming again.

We went for the Wednesday Pie night, and had a great time, the staff were very attentive to our needs and helped out with everything we needed. Only issue is the card readers, they've got a good one and a dodgy one, and that made paying for our meal a slight chore.

Great food, small village pub .

Used to go all the time for 'pie night' but when they first changed owners, the visit was very disappointing so we didn't visit for a couple years. Decided to give it a go last week and it was as fabulous as it used to be, well done guys! Those pies are the best!!
