Food was vile not an ounce of warmth to it, it was colder than the can of pop it came with and the bun wan mouldy everything went in the bin

Lovely large establishment Service tends to be slow due to the number of people in waiting on food If your limited on time I would advise to check with staff before you place your order as we have had to leave without having eaten on a previous visit Food very nice Usual witherspoon good value

Not the best café but cheap and cheerful

Chippy!!! They have one job to cook chips! Failed miserably. Undercooked chips and a soggy battered sausage. I turned up at 12:40 ish. No one else in there and they had a poor selection of ready items ( few pies and about 4 battered sausages) no spam fritters. If a chippy can’t cook chips then close your doors.

We have had a few meals from here & usually very good, however last night I ordered a chicken chow mein but received a pork chow mein, it was absolutely loaded with bean sprouts, far too many, absolutely spoilt the taste, the last 2 I have had have been like this, really really disappointed, so different in taste I thought they had changed owners !!! No more for me, I’ll be going elsewhere from now on

Been coming here for a decade. Never had any major complaints. Good food, good staff, Ruth has always been great at checking the food is kkay and we have everything we need.

Went for a meal....! Well I should say a dogs dinner. Disgusting is all I can say so went to find a member of staff and they were all outside along with the landlady smoking leaving a queue at the bar..When I finally found someone they asked me to write a favourable review on here without even asking if everything was ok oh and I'd get a free drink or a dessert which I declined...So in Summary these reviews praising the lazy staff and even lazier so called Landlady on here are basically paid in kind reviews....All the regular,s were saying its constantly like this since the beast with the ugly feet took over im sure they,d know....🤔

Bouncers steal your genuine id and get no reply been 3 weeks police contacted.

Cheap and cheerful. Service and food average but great for meeting up with mates. Prefer it here than top spoons.
