Tiffs service was outstanding and was very welcoming. The bar service was fast and reliable as well as understanding. I would go here again

We came in as a large football party! The service was impeccable, quick and cost effective! We were able to sit together and order food and drinks with ease. The outside play area was perfect for the kids and the pub was kiddy friendly! Lovely atmosphere and clean premises! Thank you 😀

A lovely place for a catch up with friends and family, great for kids as there’s plenty of room for them and a play park outside. Rachel, who served us is always so polite, happy and has a smile on her face. She is a credit to the place!

Had Beef dinner and desert I wasn’t able cut the beef I had to saw it and it was inedible the rest was basic warmed up grub Although it wasn’t that busy our dinner plates were left on our table for at least 30 minutes and were only cleared when the deserts arrived Come on gang This is basics sort your self’s out have some pride in your work

My fellas attended a funeral wake here, and whilst driving by we, impromptu stopped for lunch. I used the app Q to order food - simply done no trouble! The food is gorgeous (he had scampi and I had the kerbab), and when asked if I could have a sprinkle of cheese for my jacket potato, Alex was lovely and obliged. Relax atmosphere and brilliant service with piping hot food - definitely coming again and would 100% recommend a visit to others !

We came for a wake after a funeral and it was very disappointing, it's a sad enough day as it is but felt let down by the food and tea/coffees,£1.50 per cup and not a great quality,a lot were buying their own from the bar so that says a lot,the food was poor quality and at £8.50 a head I thought it would be better,dry ish bread,not great sausage rolls or pork pie,the crisps were the nicest thing on there,£50 for the hire of the room too so it mounted up.we didn't say anything as we were upset enough by the days event.came to one here before and the food was nice that's why we chose it.

We have visited the Rushley on three Sundays and the food was excellent.We were served by Rachel who was very friendly,polite and efficient.We will be back.

We came for a Christmas family gathering. Our group of 20 were all seated in a lovely quiet area. The place is dressed beautifully with Christmas decorations and a lovely warm atmosphere. We had food and drinks which everyone fully enjoyed. Bar staff and waitress...

Our 4 year old grandson picked here for his birthday meal.There were 18 of us all different ages.All the meals & puddings came out great,no mistakes.There children loved it.The service was great ,they couldnt do enough for us.Thankyou The you Rushley staff.

Thought it was Bad enough first time we attended. But myself,wife and our 2 children gave it a second chance. It was a Complete Disaster, Food alot worse. Very poor Quality and not worth its money. Shame would Definitely not recommend.

Went in to have a sociable drink with friends, the staff are all lovely, so friendly and polite especially Ash and Alex. Such a festive feel as soon as you walk in with all the decorations. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to meet up...

Came here for lunch with friends, was quiet for a nice bank holiday, but the way the owner talks to staff I'm not suprised, went to ask a member of staff about pool ques (I was fully masked up the whole time unlike all the staff) and was rudely asked why I was at the bar. Before I could say ven answer a member of staff ran over and said what I was there for then she proceeded to speak to me through him and was extremely sharp and rude. Being in the customer service industry you'd think that she'd be able to speak to customers in a better manner

Called in for a Sunday dinner,not been for years an thought we’d try it,food was disgusting,veg was soggy an think the chicken had been cooking since the first time i went years ago aswell,everything was cold,never complained about food before but this was that bad I had too

We went for a birthday lunch paid for mega fish platter - hardly mega more meagre served curry sauce with it ok some may like it but a sauce boat full of powdery sauce nooooo !! prawn cocktail at least was an acurate description - a prawn !over priced poor quality food . wont be visiting anytime soon. no customer service very poor choice on our part only friendly person was the barman so he gets the only star

Again been back here for food last night, again did not disappoint with all the friendly staff and easy to order even with covid 19 restrictions in place. They have made this really safe for all. Well done :) The food was lovely and staff was polite and helpful.

My partner and I visited the Rushley for lunch. The guy front of house was so rude and unwelcoming that we nearly turned around and walked straight out, but decided to give the place the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake. The vegetarian selection was limited so we opted for margherita pizzas with a side of cheesy garlic dough balls. The same guy was rude to my partner when he went to order but once you’ve paid there’s no going back. There was not so much as a smile, no welcoming chat, no basic customer service at all. When it came the food was well presented, however that was the only good thing about it. The “cheesy garlic dough balls” were not only devoid of garlic, they were completely raw on the inside with lumps of unmelted cheese, and came with a dip that consisted of tomato passata. No herbs, garlic or seasoning of any kind, just straight out of the packet. At least you can’t go wrong with cheese and tomato pizza... or so we thought. The pizza topping was the same as the dip - plain passata with zero added flavour at all. We’d asked for an extra topping of red onion, which was fine apart from us each having a big chunk of onion root - the bit you cut off and throw away. The underside of my partner’s pizza was also covered in little black bits of burnt semolina from a dirty pizza oven. All in all, a very disappointing experience and not one we ever intend to repeat.

Poor Service; Dirty Tables; Miserable Staff..An impromptu get together with friends at The Rushley. Not been there in years, suggested by one of the group.Car parking was good, plenty of spaces, outside appearance not bad. Get to the bar to order ‘Diet COKE’ with brandy, offered ‘Pepsi’. Now most people in the hospitality sector know that Diet Coke is not Pepsi Max... change time lemonade, a simple, straight forward drink. I’m presented with brandy and lemonade, when I confirm I asked for just lemonade, wow ... attitude of the barman, my friends heard what I said clear enough.. oh and served in a dirty glass.. nice touch.So we hunt for a table, most are either reserved with no one sat at them or dirty, full of used crockery and glasses.We clear a table and ask if they could take them away and wipe the dirty / sticky table .. eventually the crockery & glasses were taken away but after 4 requests for the table to be wiped, a staff member was cleaning tables around us and we again asked for it to be cleaned.. this didn’t give us confidence in the attention to hygiene.. we all four decided not to order food.Instead we decided safe to go for 3 coffees and a hot chocolate... ‘It’s not working’, the hot chocolate, no apology, no alternative offered, no upselling - tho I doubt they know what that actually is, nothing - it’s not working... :( :( Not a place I or we will return to, needs a better management team, better customer service training and hygiene training..Wouldn’t recommend, would suggest avoid and drive a little further in to Mansfield for better hospitality, better service, better hygiene and a better evening outI’d struggle to give 1 star rating out of 5

I regularly say lets go to here for a great value 2 or 3 course lunch tea, its not fine dining but always good value. Not crowded although it is a roomy pub

Had quiet a surprise in this pub when we entered, as it has been altered since the last time we was in, mind , that was nearly 28yr ago for a wedding meal. Had a lovely meal tonight & the staff where pleasant. The food came hot/cold depending what either of us had.

Had booked in here several weeks ago to celebrate my mum’s 90th birthday.I am a Coeliac, and the restaurant were aware of this beforehand.My starter was supposed to be King prawns, but turned out to be frozen shrimps, not a good start.My wife and I both ordered nut cutlet. When the meals arrived we asked which was the Gluten free one, which I started to eat. After a while my wife noticed that my meal contained parsnips and roast potatoes which hers didn’t. We then realised I had been given the wrong meal. When I told the waiter, he could not have cared less, stating he had told us which was the GF meal, but all our diners said that was wrong.For dessert I had ordered cheese and biscuits, but no GF biscuits arrived. Why, when so much notice was given, were GF crackers or biscuits not available?My grand nephews burger was burnt, solid and inedible. Again, when mentioned to the waiter, all he could say was “I’ll tell the chef”. There was no mention of replacing the meal or any refund.My wife’s dessert was inedible too.Service was extremely slow, despite there not being many diners.Overall a very disappointing experience, on what was an auspicious occasion.I will never return here.

Typically poor pub chain food. Grabbed a quick lunch as was meeting with others there. The burger was dry and overcooked. There are more chips in a kids happy meal than were served with the burger. And the few chips that were served were cold and overcooked so rock hard. I knew it was a risk before ordering, but come on guys, put a LITTLE effort into the food!!!!

Having eaten many times before we 7 of us from work decided to book for the xmas fare for 1pm.Having waited a while before the starter came out the bread roll with the prawn cocktail was a part baked roll which came out cold straight from fridge not even crispy or warmed through then we waited even longer for main everything was microwaved and not cooked fresh and the pig in blanket was no bigger than thumb nail and waited even longer for dessert.Cheese and biscuits came with no butter or knife so had to ask staff to which was obviously too much trouble. Asked for butter and got flora had to ask again for butter.So it took 2 hours to serve us 3 courses. Had to wait a while at the bar to get served drinks even though it wasn't busy.Staff walking by not even acknowledged the fact we were there.Staff need training in customer care and service.Would not recommended.

After having several beautiful meals throughout the year, I decided to book a Christmas meal with friends. There were 7 of us and we had to pay a £5 deposit each to book. I had to inform the manager that one of my friends wasn't coming as she was poorly. I was told 'well we've got all the meals prepared' in a very stroppy childlike manner (this was the manager). I apologised and said we have already paid her deposit.When the starter came out, one of my friends had to return the tomato soup as there was loads of cream on the top and she's allergic (it only said 'tomato soup' on the menu. Never stated it involved cream). Anyway, 1 of the members of staff and the manager both did an eye roll when my friend mentioned it, which we all noticed and thought it was absolutely appalling customer service. The main turkey dinner came out and it looked like a microwave meal. Veg was hard, no parsnips, potatoes tasted like aunt Bessie so they were lovely but pigs in blankets were burnt. Turkey was beautiful. I wouldn't recommend ordering from the Christmas menu if this is what you get.

Enjoyed a very Sociable drink with a good friend. The place was quite tidy and the staff quite welcoming with various rooms to sit in. Not many people eating but good for a Sociable drink.

Never again, food was cold, ordered a medium rare rump it came out well done, majority of the staff looked miserable, took 5 minutes to be even attended to at the bar (noone else was waiting) the women who served me had short blond hair and was closely the manager by the way she dressed, awful attitude, had no manners and I felt like I was being served In a prison, looking at other reviews this is a major problem, would really not recommend, also at the time I visited the pub was nearly empty. Such a poor pub.

Great place to meet up with friends for drinks especially at teatime. Nice menu of beers and lagers including traditional beers. Friendly staff and manager who engages in equestrian dialogue to die for. Well worth a visit, don’t mention donkeys! 🐴🐴

I used to go The Rushley a lot and the meals were acceptable for the price, but recently with their shift to generic menu items, they've also unfortunately cut down on quality and made damaging changes to their individuality.

It was late afternoon when we decided to go for lunch. I'm glad we chose The Rushley.

10 of us came today 19th Dec for our pre booked Christmas meal, food okay for the price, waitresses friendly and helpful,although manager could do with a lesson in manners and customer service. The bill arrived and we paid over the amount asked, leaving tips for the waitresses, just before leaving the manager came over and said we had underpaid by 85p!!! After objecting she walked away, told me I owed £13.49 for my meal when it was only £6.99, then told me to calm down when I questioned it, what a rude person, hence we will not return again.

A late decision to pop out for a meal and both my wife and I had disappointing meals. The beef madras was pretty much just sauce and rice with only five small chunks of beef counted. The burger was was served with onion rings as stated on the menu.

Cuando llegamos primero nos dieron bebidas, y el personal de 2 hombres detrás del bar eran maravillosas. Sin problemas. Luego nos fuimos al bar para pedir nuestra comida y nos sirvió una mujer que supongo era el director, ella estaba vestida con ropa normal. Ella era muy severo daba incluso cuando trataban de broma acerca de ser ocupado porque era madre de día sin respuesta. Ni siquiera cualquier contacto visual. Al realizar los pagos ella tomó nuestra cartas de nuestra mano sin permiso y sin preguntar. utilizada contactless No me gusta usar mi tarjeta contactless, así que mi tarjeta de mí y hacerlo con ningún tipo de permiso de me molestó como pensé en cualquier trabajo que no estaba permitido tocar la tarjeta de los clientes en cualquier punto de cualquier transacción. Nuestra comida llegó en una cantidad razonable de tiempo para decir que era el Día de la madre. Sin embargo, las patatas fritas en muchos de los platos era muy rancio y duro. Pero todo lo demás estaba bien. El personal de la planta, en particular una chica pero no tomar su nombre, era muy servicial y agradable para hablar. No volveremos, gracias al servicio que nos dieron por el gerente.

Mi pareja y yo visitamos hoy, el restaurante estaba limpio, bien presente, tenía una bonita una personalidad tranquila, la comida estaba riquísima y bastante razonable y con una amplia variedad de carnes, etc. Sin duda volveremos.

Lunch catch up with a colleague. I had a prawn cocktail which was pretty reasonable apart from the bread being a little stale. My colleague had tomato soup - it looked and tasted watery, which was very disappointing. Food factory with lowered sights on quality.

A friendly large pub with a great selection of food. The burgers are really tasty and well priced and the Sunday roasts hit the spot (be sure to get there midday as it's very popular!). Well worth a visit!

We booked a meal for 17 of us, we were a little worried about the number of people and all the meals arriving at the same time. We needn't of worried, service was excellent. All meals came out all together. Food was ok, typical pub grub. but no complaints whatsoever.

We had Sunday dinner at the Rushley today for a change as we usually visit on Saturdays. Our Sunday meal was absolutely delicious and we'll certainly be doing this again! Well worth the money too! Very tender meats and lots of tasty veg and gravy, including Yorkshire pud. We certainly think The Rushley is worth recommending and it has been our 'local' for a long time, even before it changed hands. In addition, the the staff are great; always friendly and helpful, and welcoming to all. The tables are cleared quickly after meals and it's a pleasant venue for a get together with friends, a party or a wedding reception (we've seen a few of those)!. We've also noticed improvements since the new manageress took over. She is very efficient. All the staff work hard and our opinion is that the Rushley gives excellent service and great food! Give it a try!

The Rushley is a great pub resturant so handy for us to go any time of the day or evening Quite a wide choice of food and weve always been happy with what weve had .Its also great to sit out in the summer.

Firstly I'd like to say the staff were fine, no issues in that department at all. However, the food wasn't acceptable. This again is probably not the fault of the staff as Im sure it arrives prepackaged and just needs heating. The beef in red wine was horrible, didn't feel or taste remotely of beef. Both my wife and I had this and both portions were identical. Three fatty pieces of connective tissue in a sauce. Brussels that were hard as golf balls, carrots and peas with roast potatoes that were almost tasteless. The pudding, festive cheesecake was eaten, only because we were hungry. Not exactly a great pudding.The staff were informed at the end of the meal.To sum up, excellent staff hospitality poor food...

I and my family have been going to this place 15 years. It used to be a nice atmosphere. Not any more. It is now attracting groups of loud obnoxious middle aged blokes that spoil the previously pleasant quiet atmosphere. The staff are all still pleasant, but the new manageress seems to be difficult. One day we sat at a table where there was no reserved sign, and she came and told us to move as it was reserved. This is insulting, embarrassing and inconvenient. The next time we went, there were NO reserved signs ANYWHERE, but we were told to get out of the entire back section as she "Had a few coming in later." She either has a serious problem with us in particular, or is irresponsible and overbearing in general. We have stopped eating here after being regular customers for many years. Several times we have been abused by drunken loudmouths while in and outside of this place, too. Not worth bothering to try to spend any more quiet pleasant afternoons here, the food is okay, the staff are very nice in general, but the recent clientele and the attitude of the new manageress has put us off. A terrible shame.

We have been here previously when Shane was running it. The place was dirty, smelly and their attitude was awful....HOWEVER the new manager is really lovely! Effort has clearly been made on making the place look better but also run better. The staff look happier and as far as pub chains go this is now a place I would re-visit.Our family held a funeral gathering here recently where one of our party was taken ill and an ambulance had to be called. The duty manager Callum was so helpful and genuinely seemed concerned. Couldn't have asked for any better service, we was looked after very well!! To anyone who has been whilst the other manager was here, I urge you to give this place another try as we were very pleasantly surprised!

Food here used to be quite good, ordered Steak and ale pies with chips, received a soggy clearly microwaved pie and soggy chips, with frozen peas! mmmm thanks! Was it too much trouble to have crispy chips and a crusty pie? Used to come here alot with the Mrs as its closed to town, has it had new "chefs"?

Went yesterday .. 4 adults and 2 children !! Do not order the Sunday lunch XL !! It was disgusting the roast beef didn't taste of anything. I've been here a few times and food is generally good for pub grub !! The mash potato was smash lathered in marg!! And the chef's special gravy was to put it bluntly an oxo cube the plate was swimming in water !! However my husband had burger and he enjoyed it !! When the waitress came to clear the table I mentioned the watered gravy and she said she noticed when she was brining the lunches out that it was watery !! ?? Did she bring it out then !!!

Big open plan pub with big car park. Bit dark unless you are by the windows or outside.Loos were fresh and clean. Some of the tables weren't particularly so. They'd been wiped but some very old food smears were still stuck to them. And the bottoms were literally falling out of the bottom of some chairs. Menu quite varied for a pub and the quality was pretty good if a bit oily. But watch out for the offer of two courses for a set price. They don't tell you either in the menu or in person that if you don't order say the dessert when you order the main (how do you know what you will fancy then?) you won't get one unless you pay extra. I could have argued the point but if that's their attitude...

Have been there several times in 2016, and always had good meals and usually better value than other venues in the area. Its usually quiet which is not a good sign, but the staff are friendly and the food cooked and served professionally. Decor in need of refurb but don't let that put you off.

Was very apprehensive about coming to this pub after reading the reviews on trip advisor, but i was in for a surprise,it was extremely busy with families having meals, groups having a drink , lovely atmosphere i got served efficiently and quickly by very pleasant bar staff .I was in the function room for a birthday party , the buffet was fresh and tasty, disco excellent my friend and i had a lovely time.

Went in for a quick drink with the Mrs and was greeted by friendly staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere. But as soon as I walked through the men's toilets door was greeted by wet floors and toilet seat splattered with urine and faeces.

Called in for a meeting and ordered a wrap to eat. Service was prompt with friendly staff. The wrap came without one of the main ingredients unfortunately. I pointed this out and received a polite response and the offer of a free drink, which I took up.This is your normal chain type premises, it is clean and tidy and ok for a visit if this is the kind of menu you are after.

This evening my husband and I went to the Rushley with our daughter and her friend. It has recently changed its manager and we thought we would give it a go as in December we had a really bad meal there. Wow! What a difference new management makes. Dawn is the new manager and after our bad experience she convinced me to return. I can honestly say she is a wonderful manager who puts her customers first. She has gone out her way to make the pub a better place and this was noticeable when we returned this evening. Dawn is definitely an asset to the Marston's company and her customer service is of a very high standard. All the staff were polite and courteous and kept checking to make sure everything was okay with our meals. The blonde lady behind the bar was especially nice and went out her way to talk to you. The food was excellent. Good, hearty pub grub. They also had a gluten free menu which was useful as I am a coeliac. My daughter and her friend loved the playground outside but we're a little disappointed when it got dark as they couldn't see very well. I mentioned this to a member of staff who informed me she was sure there was an outside light and she would go and check. True to her word afew minutes later the outside light came on. My little girl was thrilled she could go out and play for a little longer. Thank you to the young girl who did this, it was nice to be listened to. Had a great meal today the chicken was so juicy, surroundings were nice, very clean lovely smelling toilets. Had a friendly chat with Dawn the manager could not ask for more by myself and my nephew enjoyed the experience we will not hesitate to be back when in the area again

We went here for a late lunch. Premises clean, service good and food pretty much what you would expect from pub grub. Prices seemed very reasonable.

The last time we visited this pub was in the 1970s when babycham was the height of sophistication, the decor may have changed but the food was definitely a tribute to 70s cooking.The Rushley is typical of so many pub restaurants, with a special lunchtime and evening deals menu. For £4.65 per head you get two courses, from the usual selection, soup or breaded mushrooms for starters and plaice, gammon, pie, ham and chicken for mains. What could possibly go wrong with such simple fare? We chose the mushroom starter, but unfortunately they were overcooked and at the first sign of a knife, went skittering over to the adjacent table, so we gave up with the cutlery and picked up the remaining offending items, although the sound of our crunching scuppered any chance of any conversation.The mains looked more promising, gammon egg and chips and steak and ale pie. The gammon was good albeit just 4oz, but the chips were soggy and the egg overcooked. The pineapple looked like pineapple but definitely tasted more Del Boy than Del Monte. Sadly the pie can't be recommended, it came with its own life jacket, drowning in gravy and even soggier chips. Okay so £4.65p is not expensive but just how difficult is it to serve an egg runny and chips properly cooked. Two pints of gravy does not disguise a poorly cooked meal.On the positive side service was quick and friendly.

Called here for Sunday lunch. Choice of food is good, and prices very good. We were served quickly at bar where you also place order for food. We had 3 meals. The Cajun chicken sizzler and Cajun salmon salad were both good value for money. However the Sunday lunch could be better. The picture on the menu shows a meal with beef and a stuffing ball. But when you get to the bar there is a list stating that beef or turkey available today along with a list of possible veg the last line states s"stuffing ball (only available with turkey)"! Not what the picture shows on menu. I chose the turkey but didn't notice that there was no stuffing anyway. The amount of turkey 2 small thin slices was also disappointing. This is still a good place to go for food, but quirks like this need improving.

We didn't enjoy our first experience at the Rushley. Although the food was really nice, we couldn't wait to leave. It has an awful atmosphere and we didn't feel welcome at all. I suspect it's because we had a baby with us.The middle aged lady who brought our cutlery and food to our table had an awful attitude. She was far from friendly and completely ignored our son. She was stroppy when she had to pick a menu up off the floor and when my girlfriend asked for some mayonnaise. She was a truly miserable individual and looked like she was in the wrong line of work. As soon as we were finished we got up and left. We didn't even get a goodbye as the miserable waitress scowled at the empty plates and glasses on the table.It's a shame because the food was decent. But it doesn't matter now. We don't need to set foot in here again and we can always go somewhere else where we are welcome. I'm sure they don't need the likes of us there with their noisy baby. Although judging by the emptiness of the place yesterday you'd think they'd be grateful for custom. Maybe there's a reason why they were empty.

Called in on our way home from work for a meal with friends on Monday 1st Feb. Not been here for a while but would recommend. Freshly decorated and clean with friendly staff. The food was both hot and really well cooked to how we like it. (We all had Steak). Their is something for everyone on the menu at the Rushley. Will be visiting again :)

The food was brilliant. I had a Whole Farm Burger which was a handmade burger with sausage, bacon, cheese and chicken. It was massive and delicious. Also Doughnut sticky toffee pudding was soo nice. Manager runs a tight ship which made the experience better as everything we needed or wanted was there.One criticism was it had been freshly painted and there were a lot of fumes also toilets were being refurbished, however that cannot be helped and didn't take away from the experience.I really enjoyed the food and I do recommend it to everyone.

Partner and i enjoyed ourselves here, not sure what the bad reviews are about. Staff was very friendly and food was quick. Can't expect too much! It's pub food! - More of a couples pub if your looking for a nice quiet night out. Overall it was enjoyable and we will be visiting again!

Staff were polite & friendly but service was slow. Food was cheap but barely warm. Side salad consisted of two lettuce leaves, half a slice of cucumber and a little red onion!

Poor service from start to finish. It took forever to get served. Lack of co-ordination from the bar to the kitchen to the floor. No apologies for delays. Bar staff had no idea where items where on their EPOS system. Mischarged us for our meal which we had to point out. Cutlery just dumped on table. Parts of meal missing and had to ask for them to be brought to us. Desert - Cookie dough cheesecake ordered sent out FROZEN SOLID when questioned offered to "pop it into the microwave and defrost it for me"The list of things go on. Would never return here which is a disappointment as its local and my main meal actually tasted really nice. Had the service been better I would have given it another go. Shame such a nice pub has so many awful problems.

Used to visit this place many time a week while at college for lunch as price is very good and the service is always fast. Delicious food and all staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area :)

Called in on New Years Day for a drink, the bar was staffed, we were served within minutes and the tables were clean! something that has been severely lacking in recent months. It was not overly busy, but then it hasn't been busy for some time now, perhaps once people realise there is a new Manager in there it will get busy again.We did not eat, primarily because we stopped eating there a long time ago as the place was always grubby, but the difference now is amazing. We did actually compliment the Manager on the cleanliness. OK, it still needs a coat of paint but we were told that was on the agenda. Well done Marstons for finally putting someone in there who cares, this place was always a fantastic pub years and years ago and it can be again. We will certainly start eating at the Rushley again.

The pub has been going downhill for some time and there are reasons for that I am told which I can't publish here. But the new owners need to make some changes. We had the lunchtime cheap meal with 3 courses and it was great value. But we got in at 11.55 am on a Monday and got our puddings at 1.45pm!! Nightmare slow and it was like a ghost town in there. No customers much and no staff. Every time you wanted anything you had to queue up and rattle a glass on the counter or shout out.The new manager needs to REPLY to all these bad reviews and tell us what he is doing about it ASAP.

63 minutes to get our food, ordered at 1130 am!8 other people in the place only. Way too slow. Staff not bothered.

I have been going in this pub for the last 3 yrs and always found the staff and management very friendly and welcoming.. well what a shock I had today.. its Christmas no decorations up no music no people.. and the new owners well what can I say... DISAPOINTED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT... shame on you Marstons... you have let the previous landlord go and let the pub go to wrack n ruins...not only that its filthy and under staffed ..
