The Court House in Mansfield

Cheap and cheerful. Service and food average but great for meeting up with mates. Prefer it here than top spoons.

The pub itself didn’t smell too good, service was poor took a while too take our drinks order the bar was pretty much clear. Food was standard.

Just slipped in for a pint and a bit of food . Chips were "Sound" and my pannini was ok . Main problem was the loud noise next to me . 12 girls giving it their all and everyone has to talk over each other .

Bar was ok, the staff efficient and a good choice of beers. The pub just seemed a bit flat with no atmosphere ,despite it being fairly full. Perhaps we just called at a bad time.

El café estaba ocupada en el momento de ordenar, así que nos dieron el vino y que pagué por todo el año. El servidor mujeres procedieron a servir para cinco clientes u otros. Los otros miembros del personal (masculino) que habían sido haciendo café para otro cliente me preguntó qué quería y le dije "estoy esperando un café negro. " La persona que inicialmente fue que sirve alguien e inmediatamente se disculpó, diciendo que había olvidado para completar el pedido. El servidor male me hizo un café y cuando fue entregado a mí, él dijo, "usted debe ser más educado. "o palabras a ese efecto. Le pregunté lo que él quiso decir con eso y dijo que debería haber añadido 'por favor' a mi estado de 'estoy esperando un café negro. He comprobado varias fuentes de referencia y no puedo encontrar ningún lugar la necesidad de la adición de la palabra "por favor" a la política de 'estoy esperando un café negro. Luego fuimos a la protesta que no me sirve en principio y mantiene que mi estado era maleducado. Le pregunté por su nombre y a ver el gerente. El director era de la opinión de que "va en ambos sentidos", para ser sincero, no creo que le importase lo que había sucedido. El servidor de hombres continuaron la protesta que debería haber dicho "por favor, cuando hice mi declaración. Bueno, me agrada que no frecuentan este establecimiento.

Listen, I don't go into Mansfield often. In fact I've not been in here for a year or so. Certainly before and back then it was a Wetherspoons and now its Hawthorne Leisure. And little has changed. I mean that. Little. Let me set the scene. Its a cold Tuesday night and I'm here for a couple of pre match beers before going on to the footy. The pub has around a dozen in but I'm served with a Stella and it seems palatable enough. Lets face it, its not going to be busy, nor was I expecting it to be. There's no likewise punters in, home fans or away, so I just have a look around. And can only conclude that it must have been just like this on the day Spoons handed the keys over, took the money and walked away. The same ex-Wetherspoon pictures on the walls. Fading paintwork on the doors and peeling paint on the walls. Seems HL have not so much as spent a penny on the place since they got it. Certainly not on the hire of a Rug Doctor for a day, that's for sure. [Other mechanical carpet cleaners and products are available] An interesting feature is a small alcove that has been closed off with chairs and the sort of roadside barriers that utility companies put around a hole in the road. I can only surmise that this is either because.... 1 Something has gone seriously structurally unsound, (or) 2 Its been closed off to keep punters out and minimise the work of the cleaners - [see "rug doctor " rant above,] (or) 3 A utility company convention is in town and this is where they have been doing their training, (or) 4 something else And its a pity. There's no need to run a historically remarkable pub like this by dumbing it down to the "quality" of other drinking shops in the close locality. Nor would it take much to give it a bit of a spruce up and establish itself with its own identity. Taking the Wetherspoons stuff down would be a start even if it meant having to wallpaper the walls again. You know. Turn it into somewhere you'd be happy to take your loved one into. If its just a beer you want and you are just passing through, then fine, it ticks the boxes. I didn't dine here nor would I. If thriving on neglect is the front of shop ethos, one wonders what's going on round the back. So what I'm going to do is this. I'm not gonna write this one off just yet. I'd guess the duty management and staff are doing their best given what seems to me to be a minimise investment / maximise profit exercise thus far. I'd love to be able to give it a glowing review next time when returning sometime soon and hopefully by then Hawthorne Leisure will have thrown some money at it. They could even dip into their Hedge Funds in fact. See what I did there?. ,

My sister and I recently visited this pub for some drinks. The staff on the bar had nodded to each as we approached making it obvious they had been discussing and judging us before we even had a chance to try and order. The pub was horrible as were the staff so we left. Later that evening I went back to the pub to make a complaint of the staffs behaviour and the lady behind the bar went on to lie about how me and my sister had acted when we come to the pub earlier... Quite a scrubby place that's really unpleasant just topped off with the informal rude staff.

We thought we were going to eat in a Wetherspoon's, but soon realised it was a look alike and had been Wetherspoon's in a previous life. The food was fine and possibly better than a Wetherspoon's, tasty and plentiful. Good beer and wine also and probably cheaper than Wetherspoon's. we found a seat in a quiet area of the pub, away from the noisy main bar.

This pub is for the dregs of mansfield and piss heads who drink beer at 10 am in the morning...caters for the dole wallers and drunks...always smells of Bo and piss..

Food very basic,beef was out of a packet,but at £6.95 for a dinner and a beer ,what should you expect.Barmaid ...Manager ? argueing with the barman about his time keeping and him then swearing at her was not what i would expect ...place looks nice from outside bu rather grim once your in.

have visited twice since the takeover.I was pleased to see that Sunday lunch is back on the menu.However,there is not such a large choice of drinks included in the meal deals now,Guinness for one.Also,you can't pay a bit extra to upgrade to a large wine as you could before.Visited again for fish and chips,on a Friday,which is no longer Fish Friday,it didn't matter as the drinks we wanted wouldn't be included now.Fish was nice enough,but not very keen on the chips.It's still a nice enough place,but it's going to cost more now,so I hope the chips improve.We told them about the chips,they gave us some more,but they weren't much better.I think they will have to rethink some of the deals or they could lose customers.Would like to see Hawthorne Leisure do well here,I like the Courthouse.

ceap and cheerfu, basic meal, saff always eem over-worked and rushed. Last time we went they forgot our dessert, and the arguments from the kitchen could clearly be heard when seated nearby. Bit of a Fawtly Towers ambience......but food was sort of ok

Visited with a friend a few days ago. Really good prices and the food was lovely. Such good value for money, all staff seemed friendly and it was clean and comfortable. Good seating areas.

Visited Mansfield early January as we were early decided to have breakfast. This Wetherspoons is located in the Market Place so idea for a stop before shopping or for a break during the day. Lovely old building with plenty of tables. Seemed busy for breakfast but plenty of choice on the Breakfast Club menu and the large coffee came with free refills until 2pm. Service was quick we didn't have to wait very long even with the number of people around.. Breakfast was very good and families are welcome during the day/early evening.

So as the title suggests we waited a hour and still they bring out the wrong food..... Order chicken burger get beef order nachos with pulled Park get nacos with what looked like beef of some sort or dog food whatever it was we dint eat anything just got a refund. Terrible service won't be coming back ever.

whet in when they were doing a managers special with fresh fried fish with chips. the fish was translucent and stone cold in the middle. the chips were ok but the plates were burning hot . beer ok and locals ok.

Lovely pub , lovely staff , very local people but friendly , food is fresh and fast , would be a bit better if the company splashed some money on the place though , never the less brilliant team

I visited the courthouse pub run by Wetherspoon and ended up in a political debate with one of my fellow visitors due to my political bias. I thought the atmosphere to be very nice until it was identified that the area was a labour stronghold,...

This is one of the worst spoons that I have ever been in. The place was full of drunkards and it was 14.00 hrs on a Sunday afternoon out of football season. The staff were not very friendly and they stopped serving Sunday lunches 6...

I visited with family..... The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The food came out quickly, very well.presented and very good quality. Coffee was really lovely and excellent price

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat while shopping in mansfield. Wetherspoons grub, you know what you're getting, it was good value and tasty! Friendly staff, free refills on the filter coffee, it was just what i needed to perk me up for round...

Everyone ate quickly and orders were spot on. Friendly staff with good knowledge of deals and pleasant and friendly service will definitely be going back

Been a few times now always good beer good food and excellent service will definitely be visiting again in the very near future

Lovely pub with a friendly and welcoming management and staff team. Went in for a meal with my daughter and felt very welcomed. Food was hot and tasted good. Well done team :)

My family, friends and I, regularly visit here for drinks before heading out for the night! The prices are brilliant, cheaper than all the other spoons! Why go next door to the crown and anchor and pay £4 a pint, when you can pay £2!...

Worth going to see Cassie, possibly the friendliest Manager in town. Took my elderly mother the other day and she was treated like royalty. Cheap beer, real ales, cosy atmosphere... what's not to like?

He oído comentarios negativos de La Court House y así que siempre han dado un perderse cuando fuera alrededor de la ciudad con mis pequeños. Hace poco ha cambiado como me pasó en un café capuchino grande - 69 p!!!! El servicio era amable y servicial. He estado desde que volví a visitar un par de veces y la comida es muy buena y lo más importante es que es toda una gran relación calidad-precio! Es un pub de bebedores pero todos son bienvenidos!!! Se lo recomendaría 100%. Las críticas que he leído de años anteriores, claramente las cosas han cambiado. Un cliente satisfecho! X

El personal es siempre muy amable y hablador. El ambiente es bueno, siempre es agradable y limpio. Una selección de bebidas para todos los gustos, desde una buena taza de té de una bebida alcohólica muy fuerte. La comida siempre es perfecto, bien presentada y deliciosa. Una relación calidad-precio.

Not the poshest of Mansfiel'ds 3 Wethies but, if you just want a cup of coffee, very good standard product and unbeatable on price. Capucino, Mocha, Americano, etc 69p With extra shot of espresso, 89p. !!!!

Fue una buena hamburguesa de precio y una bebida 5,99 libras y sabía muy bien pero me y mi pareja con dolor de estómago por 24 horas! No comimos nada más, así que debe haber sido la comida sin embargo tienen 5 higiene clasificación. en general el personal era agradable, la mesa estaba pegajosa y la comida estaba buena y a un precio fantástico. estuvo bien para salir de la lluvia.

Dos horas para pasar en Mansfield mientras mi nuera increíble y fuertemente embarazada presenta sus conclusiones en una solicitud de adopción. Su humanidad, total profesionalidad y probidad me dejan sin palabras con admiración. Es por eso que voy a actuar como su conductor y acompañante voluntarios como ella se funde su carga antes permiso de maternidad.

Friendly staff. Prompt efficient service. Cheap food delivered promptly. Cheap ale! What more do you want????? I use it regularly and know that at times there can be problems which are always resolved.

Decided to treat me and my two daughters to lunch as my eldest daughter was going away on holiday with her dad. At the bar upon ordering our meals the Server never even asked what drinks I wanted with each meal ! I opted for chicken burger n chips, my eldest opted for sweet chilli chicken wrap n chips and my youngest opted for a chicken roast dinner. When the food arrived the plates were cold,my chicken was burnt so I returned it, my eldest/youngest daughters chicken was also burnt but not as much as mine so they ate it, the chicken wrap had way to much sweet chilli sauce on it that she was unable to eat it all !!!! They didn't have any mayo at all plus they had no crayons for my youngest to use for her picture.....I think the waitress could tell we were not happy as she just cleared our plates without even asking if we had enjoyed our meals !!!!! All in all a terrible leaving dinner for my daughter. Plus they forgot to give my youngest her fruit bag so she had to ask for it as we swiftly left !!!!!!!

Se trata de la mejor categoría cena Wetherspoon, ciertamente mucho mejor en Mansfield. El personal es amable, y buenos clientes habituales, junto con servicio de calidad hace de este lugar. Añade a esto un par de cómodos sofás blandita y WiFi gratis, y no puedes equivocarte. Advertencia: se llena los viernes y sábados por la noche con idiotas alrededor en el camino cuando hay muchos asientos vacante.

My Partner and I was enjoying a shopping trip when hunger struck, being regular visitors to Wetherspoons we called in to the Court House for quick bite. The beer was surprisingly cheap and this leads to it being a true drinkers pub with all that comes with it, knock off cigarettes clearly being purveyed in the seating area by a string of visitors, strong language and drunken people abound.

I was in Mansfield in buisness and tried this Its a chain , food average but a reasonable price Staff nice and assisting

Fuimos para el almuerzo con mi amigo. Tuvimos que esperar un tiempo razonable para ser servida, quizás una persona independiente para pedidos impresionantes comida sería útil ya que hay obviamente un montón de bebedores de aquí. Sin embargo, una vez que llegamos a nuestro turno, nuestra orden fue tomada rápidamente y eficientemente. tuvimos una larga espera para nuestra comida, estaban muy ocupados, quizás un nuevo miembro del personal adicional sería útil? Sin embargo cuando llegamos estaba caliente y muy sabroso. Nada especial, pero con una comida mediocre de pub. fue una agradable comida decepción por no tener suficiente personal para enfrentar el viernes a mediodía. Muy buena relación calidad-precio y las raciones eran muy generoso.
