I read with disbelief the very unpleasant review below. . It doesn’t sound at all like the same Thai Garden restaurant we have been visiting for the last 25 years!! We have just had an excellent 4 course set lunch which was delicious! Every table was taken and the staff although very busy coped well. Leo was in charge and did a great job. We will of course return as I am sure so will the other diners there today.

Update in 2024. Still really slow delivery. Consistently late. Even when you order for an earlier than need time they are late. Always order for 30 minutes earlier than you want it. If the food wasn't so nice we would go elsewhere are the delivery time is so hit and miss.

Used to be good coffee, just average now the cakes are poor. Way below most other cafés, just sugary with very little taste. Cheap ingredients and poor recipes. Friendly staff and dogs allowed.

Update 29th October 24 Couldn't be bothered to cook so popped in for a late lunch. Absolutely great. The food was great.. no delays considering the place was heaving. Wonderful service. Booked for tomorrow's Sunday carvery. Great.. 2 days no cooking! Update 12th Nov 23 Wow.. enjoyed a fabulous carvery meal today. Generous portions, beautifully cooked meat and great mix of vegetables and sundries... Will definitely be back 👍🏼👍🏼 Update 3rd Oct 22 Fantastic meal yet again. Love the menu options and the board specials. Staff great as usual 👌🏼 Update.. 18th May 22. Back for an evening meal... Absolutely fabulous.. quality of meal.. exceptional.. as was friendly efficient service The hub of Rothwell. New management team recently taken over, now hoping to get regular supply of real ales - that had been missing for a while. Food being served, but have not tried yet

This is a favourite restaurant of ours and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Food is always superb and the staff are friendly, kind and welcoming. Look forward to the next visit.

Yet again for the third (and last) they got the order wrong and food cold- Very disappointed when you look forward to a nice meal and you don’t get All you order and PAY for and Served Cold Thank god there is another provider close by and I can avoid returning to this shop.

Been before, had a takeaway. Was quite nice. Decided to take my partner and 6 month old baby for lunch. Got there at 1pm on a Saturday, the place is open serving people. For us to be turned around and told us the kitchen is closed but coffee is still being served. Turned down another customer behind us with the same answer. I would have thought a little coffee shop would have open arm invited us for food too if we wanted. 2x customers with a possibility of spending what £20 each? So because they couldn’t be arsed to cook some food they lost £40 of business! Yet they sit there with outdated decor and quite a dull appearance. Get some effort put in jeez!

Ignore some of the previous reviews. The pub has been taken over and refurbished. It's kept the old character but now clean and tidy with hard flooring with the original lovely, old brickwork on show still. Excellent choice of beers. Simon the landlord and his team are a very friendly, welcoming bunch. Plus dogs allowed now too. Definitely mine and my partners favourite local pub now!

Whilst I realise this is only a McDonald's I've rated the ROTHWELL A14 EASTBOUND branch as 5 star when compared to many others around the UK. I spoke with Manager/Supervisor Sophie and asked her to congratulate the team for their really clean toilets! This country is blighted by disgusting Public loo facilities. Being as I rarely need to use them I suspect the problem is worse than I realise. Sophie pointed out Adam to me as the gent responsible for the job well done. Thanks to him and the team for clean loos, good service, hot food and a well above average McDonald's experience.
