Very nice Indian restaurant with friendly staff and a nice vibe. The food was lovely, really tasty and full of flavour. Loved my boiled egg and it went well with the green chillis and my onion rice. A little slow service but it was busy there so to be expected. Will definitely return next time I'm in the area !

Early slot. Restaurant filled up quickly. Waiting staff struggled to remember drinks orders having to be reminded a couple of times and one drink not arriving at all. Food very good and tasty. Quite a crowded space with about 45 covers. Current hygiene rating (November 2023): 5. Well be back!

The food was excellent but service was not great 😔 and we got asked to leave after an hour and half so they could seat another large group. Was not told our table was on a time limit. We felt we had been rushed out as we normally have after meal drinks etc but the bill was given us when we asked for coffee. Complained to manager but he did not seem to be bothered

It was our first time,on the 13/02/2023 about 20 of us. Food was delicious service was excellent, I was surprise how quick food was delivered, we all enjoyed our evening. It was really tasty ! We left the Restaurant very Happy !

Terrible service on take out. Food cold. Didn't give us full order. Rang them to complain and didn't have any concerns. Understand it was a Saturday night and they are busy. But service on takeaways is not to standard. Avoid on peak times.

Just been for Christmas day dinner, best one we have had on years!! Why have turkey when you can have a Chicken Chaat and Naan Bread!!! Frequently here on deal night as are many of our neighbours!!! Best Indian in the area by far!!

Far too expensive, despite quality & quantity of food, for my taste! Also they do not accept blue card discount for essential workers, apart from these issues food was excellent.

Great team, top curries and service

Just wanted to say how pleased we are with the food and service we have had over the years at the Taste Of India in Rothwell either takeaway or eat in at the restaurant it’s always excellent food. The staff are always friendly and nothing is too much to ask for. We especially like the takeaway as if you make a last minute decision in the evening and fancy treating yourself to a takeaway it’s ready in under half an hour if collecting. The food is always spot on either collecting or having it delivered. I would highly recommend you trying the Taste Of India if you haven’t tried them before. You will not know what you have been missing unless you do. Regards Peter

My wife & i stayed at The Church Farm Lodge in Harrington who recommended The Taste Of India , to be honest this is the best Indian food we have had , everything just perfect, all the staff so pleasant, one nice fellow called Sarge is a absolute credit, i would highly recommend you go to this place if your ever near by

We visited on a Wednesday and had the set price Banquet which was good value for starter, main, sides and rice/naan. The food was extremely good, and the service likewise. The restaurant was full by 8pm which shows how popular it is, and the way in which the waiters interacted with customers made it clear that people go here regularly. Lovely experience and will return!

So we were passing through and needed food, being someone who lives a good meal I asked around and looked online there was so much choice, we found taste of India and the reviews looked good, this doesn’t always mean it’s the best but decided to give it a go, the place is beautiful inside the plates were really cool it was super clean it just felt like a nice place, then the staff came over they were super friendly helped my fussy old man find a curry that was spicy but not too much heat one he never had before. Naan breads were great especially the keema nan, the onion bhajis were not only amazing but huge 👌🏼 As always I went for a jalfrezi and we were not disappointed, I have had many curry’s this was phenomenal, all dishes were to a very good standard none were cold all were super tasty and really filling, we couldn’t eat it all, I highly recommend this place and I would easily say it was the best Indian I have had. If you get a chance give it a go

Best indian by far i’ve ever had for a long mile, i’ve had indians all over the country from over 200 different places and this one is easily by far the best one. One of the chefs they have working there makes the best currys i’ve ever tastes

I took my family here for my mother's recent birthday. Staff are all very friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The restaurant itself has been recently decorated over the covid 19 lockdowns and has a really nice atmosphere. Great value for money and definitely the best Indian cuisine in the NN14 area. Would also recommend for delivery. Thank you all for giving my mum a lovely birthday! Will definitely be back

We have moved to the area a few months ago and we ordered a home delivery for the 1st time and definitely will not be the last. Fantastic meal all the food was amazing and tasted great, could not fault it. Quick delivery and everything was hot and fresh. Ordered by phone and the guy was very helpful and polite.We have had a meal in restaurant about 2 years ago when we were visiting area. Really enjoyed the meal, staff really helpful and food was delicious.Will definitely use again and will book in for a meal when lockdown ends.Recommend this restaurant to anyone and I'm sure they will not be disappointed.

Food was awful, lacked taste, was rock solid like it was just re heated. Really disappointing

Just had a take away the chicken was hard and tough to chew, the sheikh kebab was also hard, I'm guessing not cooked fresh but chicken and kebab from anther day yave previously used them with no issues thats why used them today but as two out of the three meal gave the person upset stomach certainly won't be using them again

Used this place on regular basis for take always then they increased their prices by a stupid 30% on some items.... won't be using them again

Visited Taste of India in rothwell tonight Sunday 28th of March between 7 and 8pm on arrival was greeted by the staff who nothing was to much trouble I wanted something spicy and my partner couldn’t choose so she was helped my the wonderful staff and our experience was first class nothing to much trouble we ordered and food arrived within 15 to 20 minutes went home food was piping hot and the spices and other ingredients were well matched food was full of taste and throughly enjoyable will definitely be going make their again we had collection in the take away service can’t wait for the restaurant to open up again to experience this as all the staff where friendly polite and well mannered nothing was to much trouble for them with my partner being diabetic and not allowed to much spicy food they truly helped her and made her feel welcome thank you taste of India for an amazing service

Ordered a takeaway, arrived in resonable time, but we had an item missing, everything was cold and tasteless, no spice at all. Very small naan bread, the size you would buy in a supermarket.We called and complained had money refunded and missing item delivered, that was still cold and tasteless.We shan't be using again.
