We chose this place from a local recommendation, we were not disappointed. The food turned up in our chosen time slot (Monday) which was hot. We had Beef Curry, Crispy Chilli Beef, Chilli ribs and a Special Fried Rice (whole prawns) with Satay Sauce along with a portion of chips. The photos are after we had our first sitting! We really enjoyed the flavoursome food. 😊

After years using this place I am unhappy to say the timings for service are getting silly ordered food called up over an hour and 10 min to be told they were just cooking the food as I called

Had great take Away tonight absolutely fantastic and the Family loved it. Will definitely use again. Food was hot on arrival and very delicious.

After a number of good take aways from here, we were disappointed by the worst Chinese takeaway we have ever had. Did not arrive in the allocated time, almost an hour later, and the quality of food was very poor. More fat than duck in the fried rice, king prawns with the shells still on on too tough to eat. It was late on a Sunday so perhaps caught them at a bad time! ☹️

OMG, this takeaway is out of the world. When you place an order, they say, collection in 15 minutes. They have never failed once. Their service is beyond outstanding. The food is fresh, hot, very tasty, and worth every penny.

Had a takeaway last night and was very disappointed with it. The sweet and sour sauce was terrible no flavour,quite thick went to jelly when cool. Their chow mein noodles plonked on bottom of pot and veg and prawns packed on top. Not very appetising. They are probably busy and standards are slipping

First time trying the food based on recommendation and I'm hooked! Ordered the 9th kitchen special fried rice and it's the best house special fried rice I've had.

Have ordered food from here fairly regularly over the last few years. Always really satisfying and consistently good quality and flavour.

Ordered banana fritters with syrup and they forgot the syrup, no apology at all

Just had what was meant to be a Thai red curry and can categorically say its the worst red Thai curry I've ever had...was pale colour, pure salt taste, the chicken tasted like off fish after 2 mouthfuls I rang and asked for a refund as it was unedible. The chips were reheated and cardboard brown colour and texture I actually only ate some of them because I was so hungry. No apology and such hassle having to ring and explain and then have to go over and get a refund, I dont normally leave such bad reviews but this was just vile. I definitely will not be returning ever again.

Found this Chinese during lock down, seemed to be the only one that stayed open but the food has never been of poor quality Very friendly staff

Just had a meal from here, usually sooo good, but this meal was like it was heated up lunch leftovers, Luke warm, dry, gloopy, so disappointed as we had raves about this to our visitor from NZ. The rice stuck together, chow main was just dry noodles, the Kung Po pork, was barbecued pork that was so dry we couldn’t eat it. Shame I won’t be visiting again!

Ordered from there for the first time tonight and everything was great! Really impressed, it was delivered quickly and everything was still hot. It’s great value for money too! Definitely recommend

Every time I've ordered food it's been very, very good and delivered extremely quickly. I think the prices are also reasonable. I can strongly recommend them if you live in Rothwell.

Always order for 30 minutes earlier than you want it. If the food wasn't so nice we would go elsewhere are the delivery time is so hit and miss.

Food is mediocre at best, took over 2 hours for delivery, every time i rang they kept saying 10 mins.... wont be using again.

Food hot and delicious, site easily navigable, payment process clear and concise. Only criticism was order took 35mins longer to arrive than they predicted. However they added a free portion of veg spring rolls which was very acceptable! Will certainly use again.

Food is lovely however I will never be ordering from here again after the service I experienced last night! Placed an online order for collection. About an hour after arriving home from colelcting my food I recieved a text and an email to say that my order had been cancelled and refunded. I then got a phone call from 9th Kitchen. She never once apologised. She was actually quite rude. She told me they had a new ordering system and that she had cancelled it. She then told me I would have to pay again by returning to the shop (20mins walk) to repay the total for my food. Now, I have already walked 4 minutes for my food, the thought of another 40min round trip was not my idea of fun, especially when it was not my fault in the slightest! Again, she never once apologised and made it appear as if it was all my fault that she had cancelled the order. In a situation like this I would have expected an apology and perhaps some sort of discount on my order/future order as a way of compensation for my trouble in then having to return to the shop to repay for the meal. On top of a bad and stressful day (the takeaway was supposed to be something nice to cheer me up) this was the last thing I wanted to do.

Ordered from 9th Kitchen for the first time tonight, (after friends recommend it). Absolutely loved our food. Really delicious and very prompt delivery. Used the online ordering service aswell and it was very good.

Really nice food, never disappointed, we did try to phone our order through but I went down there instead. Nicely done out with the coursery tank of fish....
