Delightful tearoom stumbled upon when driving through this village. Very kind owner delicious food. Would recommend you stop buy! If you’re a visiting American you’re gonna love this quaint spot!! A little light music would be nice.

Saturday night It’s the weekend, so, time for a take away We fancied a bit of Thai, seeing as it was a Saturday Let’s try the Royal Thai kitchen, it’s £25 for the set meal 2 starters, 2 curries, rice and prawn crackers, it’s a bit of a deal 7.00 o clock, in the library car park that’s where you collect It’s a weird experience, your not sure, what to expect Waiting in the dark leaves a lot to your imagination But then Matthew turns up, and starts feeding the nation So we started with chicken satay and Thai fish cakes, served with complimentary dips With a side of spring rolls, all cooked to perfection, a taste sensation on the lips Beef Panang curry, along with jasmine rice Spiced just right, it’s more than nice There’s so much food we couldn’t manage the Thai chicken curry So tomorrow night I’ll be cooking up some rice, no waste here , no worry

Lovely staff and service. excellent coffee and cakes. Good atmosphere and allow dogs. Wish they still did vegan flapjack and matcha.

We were a party of 4, never been there before but we give a go as a friend said it was really good. Service was good, food is very nice, big portion. The drinks menu has a lot to offer. We ordered daiquiris, strawberry, and mango flavour. They were delicious, then we decided to order 2 more, this time both strawberry, but they weren't the same, not cold enough, very watery and it didn't taste like it has any alcohol, only can taste a sirup.

We are delighted that we have this restaurant reasonably close to us as it always excels and has become a real favourite of ours. Good cocktails, excellent food and impeccable service from an excellent team mean that the place is always busy but that does give it a nice buzz and atmosphere. Some of the tables can be a little close together especially if there is a function using the upstairs space but it’s not too bad.

This has quickly become our favourite place to go - Burton Latimer’s hidden gem. There’s always a warm welcome and great service, and the food is always amazing. Prices are great too. The highlight of last nights visit was the brand new menu. It’s been completely revamped, with loads of new options to choose from, including a whole page of Kerala dishes. 100% recommend.

Never had a problem with here before but tonight was awful the only thing ok to eat was the vegetables everything else was terrible. Rung the restaurant and was told nothing has change and hung up on. Would not recommend!!

We enjoyed afternoon tea at this friendly cafe. The food was great. One of the best afternoon tea we have had. The staff were very helpful.

Disappointed last time, was so much better when it opened

Having moved to the area recently, I was surprised to find this remarkable Jewel of a pub.A very varied menu,and a wide range of beers and ales.Peter and Katie,the landlord and landlady,are so very welcoming,as are the staff.What has been created here,by Peter and Katie,is something I personally haven't experienced in a pub,for over twenty years.A veritable Oasis of calm,far from the madding crowd.Always a warm welcome,and a wonderful Atmosphere,with a real homely feel.

Sadly the lady in the cafe was quite unfriendly as we had arrived after hot food was being served. Managed to get drinks and a couple of dry scones. Nice selection of home goods and books.

Terrible service Ordered takeaway via the telephone repeated 3 times what we wanted delivered:- 2x Chicken BYIRIANY 2 XONION BHAJI 2 xBOMBAY POTATOES 3X POPADOMS AND 1 KEEMA NAN. FOOD arrived LUKE WARM order was wrong no popadoms rung up to complain sent a man out that came to the door with a bottle of coke!! Told him to go back and tell them that I wasn't happy and then he came back again with some popadoms. We had guests so we plated the food up and had to heat up each individual plate up as it was cold. Costed it up via the Menu on the website and it should have been ££41.80 including delivery not what we were charged which was £49.25 (we paid cash). NO APOLOGY!
