We have been regular visitors for a number of years. However, today's visit made me wonder if we will visit again. The prices of meals have increased significantly. Nearly £10 for a jacket potato. I was most upset by the drink situation. We were taken a table and asked for our drinks order before we sat down. We were given a lunch menu but I didn't realise until later that the price of drinks is not shown! When we got the bill I found that a pot of tea (barely containing 1.5 cups) was the princely cost of £3.25 each. We were a party of 3 so one large and one small pot cost £9.75 WOW. This is ridiculous for a few tea bags and hot water.

Have been a regular visitor for a long time and have always enjoyed the experience, but was really disappointed with todays visit, sandwiches were made with thin bread which was hard around the edges and cakes were dry, (what happened to the lovely thick soft granary bread). Somehow the food seems to have gone downhill and yet the prices have soared, £45 for 3 sandwiches ,2 cakes and 3 coffees, won't be visiting again ☹️

Absolutely shocking service! Went for lunch with my family (including 2 young children) and left before being serviced. We had to wait for a table, understandably as they were busy. We were seated but left after waiting for 20mins to be served! We didn’t even order a drink! In that time they managed to seat and serve 5 more tables. We asked twice about ordering and was told they would be with us in a minute. The final straw was when a table next to us was seated and served straight away! Won’t be returning in a hurry

Perfect visit with grandparent, good food filled jacket potatoes and cakes that were fresh cream and remembered by my wife's Mum.

We have become regular customers at Aspen. Friendly staff, well presented food. Good value for breakfast and lunch.

High prices which we expected but the quality of food served was poor. Service staff though were excellent. Previous visits the food was top quality and tasty

Waitresses were cheerful and the tea (and teacake) were excellent, but the organisation appeared to be fairly chaotic and as a result service was very slow. We got the teacake almost half an hour before we got the tea, which rather misses the point ! Nevertheless, will probably come again,

Although it was a busy bank holiday Monday, the staff at Aspen Cafe were relaxed, friendly and apparently unflustered. Very good food (and cake), always a pleasure to visit!

We had very slow service on the afternoon I was there. Only wanted 2 cups, (pots) of tea, yet had to wait 45 minutes. Poor.

Such a shame, we attempted lunch here. Understaffed, slow service. None of the meals came out together. The drinks arrived as we were finishing our meal. Really disappointed, as on previous occasions we have previously had a good service.

I always find this cafe the ideal place to visit after a trip around Bosworths Garden Centre. There's a good choice of snacks available and they do a wonderful hot chocolate which is reasonable priced. The cafe is clean and tidy with a welcoming atmospere....

As a Coeliac this is one of the VERY FEW places locally I can get a nice lunch. Always great tasting food, barely knowing it’s GF! Staff lovely and area always spotlessly clean. Lovely atmosphere in general.

They have now started a ridiculous system of only one person in the party given ALL the points regardless of who pays. This is unfair as the vouchers are points based. However the staff, service and food are faultless.

Visited on Saturday 15th of October … had to wait around 10 minutes for a table as we arrived at the lunchtime busy period. Sandwiches and cakes were lovely as usual. Nice sized pot of tea and fantastic Americano coffee. Would definitely recommend a visit.
