Great range varing from Venan to Meat items. Great service and pleasant staff. Wonderful range of items to take away to include coffees, preserves, pickles and biscuits. I am so sad to hear they are leaving Wirksworth, I used them on a regular 3 times a week basis.

Lovely cafe in a village just outside Nottingham. Good service and delicious breakfast.

Consistently great fish and chips

Generally the food for everyone else was ok but the chilli salt ribs we ordered was not good. All rib ends with lots of cartilage not a single full rib! The meat that was there was dry and seemed over cooked. The chow mein tasted burnt and the chips were like they had been reheated. Today I've had a dodgy stomach too. We wont go again.

A lovely cafe, the perfect place for a pre Christmas catch up with my Aunts. Coffee was great and the scones the best I’ve had in a long while, so light and tasty. Staff were lovely too!

We love Ian and Nikki! There's always a lovely atmosphere in The Olympic since they've taken over! Kareoke's are so fun, Sunday lunches are great, and it's always nice to put some songs on the jukebox! We also love that the pub is dog friendly and has a lovely big garden/seating area outside.

A large party of 24 of us enjoyed a lovely afternoon here to celebrate my sister’s birthday. The food had been preordered and was served hot in a very organised manner so that we were all able to eat together. Everyone, without exception, enjoyed the food they had ordered. We literally couldn’t fault it. From initial booking to four extra people needing to be added at the last minute, the team dealt brilliantly with our event. The staff went over and above, allowing us to bring our own cake and providing us with plates to serve it. All in all it was a lovely afternoon in a relaxed atmosphere with good, tasty, good value for money food and super efficient, helpful and accommodating staff. We will definitely be returning! 😊

Staying at local hotel for week...and thought try TC Express...instead of full TC restaurant as used in past. Situated in The Hub not far from cark park 3 entrance to Hub. Parking fees during day...but visited after 6pm and did not have to pay! Not full and given choice to sit anywhere - good start!. Friendly staff from manager all the way to chef....cooking area in main restaurant. Drinks first - red wine large glass....good quality and not bad price. Starter shared was Ali De Pollo - breaded wings with garlic mayo. Wings really crispy and chicken moist succulent. These are not the small wings that you normally get but plenty of meat!. Main courses were Carbonara and Pollo al Funghi - breaded chicken covered with mushroom sauce. Food excellent. Service Excellent. Manager friendly and spent time being interested in finding out who we were and how we found the meal! We def visit again next time up in area.

Been before and again today Thursday 19th december 2024. Wasnt too busy so got a table ok. menu is ok and prices ok. Only comment is that the lattee coffees need a bigger size
